1.6 Bottle. Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy cardboard finish.
2.2 Bottle. Pours a pale golden color with small white head and soft carbonation. Grainy aroma. Slightly sweet but watery and thin bodied. Not good.
1.6 Klares goldgelb leicht getreidog malzig im Geruch, kaum Geschmack wässrig malzig
1.8 Dose in Vietnam. Wenig Aroma. Getreide Geschmack. Sehr flacher wässeriger Geschmack.
2.0 Bottle @Prisma. Pours clear yellow (or pale golden) with small sticky head. Aroma: wet paper, rotten hay, malty, sweetish. Taste: sweet, candy, malty. Thin body. Short finish. Not so bad like I expected. Almost drinkable.
1.4 330ml bottle. Clear pale golden, white small head. Aroma is sweet malty, corny, lagery. Sweet malty taste, metallic, very watery. More bitterish in finish. Weird herbal aftertaste. Light bodied, average carbo. Weak pointless brew.
1.1 Clear pale color with white long lasting head. Weak aroma of malt and grain. Taste is light malty and watery. Drinkable after a warm day, but one of them is enough for me.
2.7 Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear yellow color with a small y white head. The aroma is grain driven with some very slight hops tossed in. The taste is watery with a weak beer flavor. Nothing great, but probably a great type of beer to put away during a hot day at the beach.
1.7 330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with one finger frothy white head, retention is actually not bad. Aroma: pale malts, cereal, the beginnings of skunkiness. Taste: light sweet malt, faint fruity note, strange aftertaste. Light watery body, average carbonation. Overall a very weak lager, acceptable for washing down spicy food but on it’s own this wouldn’t be good.
1.9 Bottle on Boracay. Zlta farba. Vona kukuricna, sladka. Chut kukuricna bez dalsich chuti.
1.2 The Thai version of it (think this is correct?) From local restaurant in Kamala. Light orange with small head. Aroma and taste of bland malt, cardboard and light hints of bread. Meh.
2.1 Pours a clear golden with a white head. Vomit nose with a corny note. Nearly flavorless. Refreshing for a 5% beer.
1.7 Clear light golden beer with no head. Aroma is minimal malty, otherwise like sour water or something. Taste is also quite watery, maybe some malty sweetness. Light body. Soft carbonation. Drinkable right after you take it out from fridge.
1.2 330ml. can in Mae Kasa, Thailand. Pours a light gold with minimal head..Faint aroma; very little to identify. Carboardy taste, slightly sweet. No real interest. Generic light lager.
2.6 Bottle - Light apple and corn. Clear gold with a small white head. Just as it smells. Nothing bad, but nothing good either.
1.9 Bottle. Brewed by SMBHK - must be from the Hong Kong plant then? Pours pale yellow with a small head. No aroma to speak of. Maybe some weak hints of cereals and CO2 sourness. Watery body, taste has some light hints of sweetish malt and rice. Feels clean but that’s because it’s so watery. Drinkable enough as something to flush down fast food with.
1.3 330ml can brewed in Vietnam by San Miguel Vietnam. Pours pale yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is wet cardboard, corn husks, rice. Very little in the way of taste: water, faint pale malt, paper.
3.3 Pre-pour thoughts. I watched a couple of commercials for this. One with Sam Pinto, whoever that is, and kind from the 90’s, which I found to be funny. I like the stamped bottles. "Property of San Miguel Brewery" it says. Okay, so next time I’m in the Philippines I’ll try to remember to return it. I very much dislike the clear bottle. I like the description on the label, made me laugh. So far, so good, I guess. Poured into pint glass. Poured perfectly! Not skunked! Very clear straw color. Poured with a nice one finger or so foamy, thickish white head. Actually a decent head retention. Pretty good lacing. Very carbonated. Aroma is light roasted barley and rice. Rice actually is probably dominate. Light hops. Light banana, light grapeskin. Taste is eh. I get rice husk, sort of a stale mildewy taste. Lightly sweet, a touch spicy bitter. That’s about it. Mouthfeel is light bodied. Watery. Crisp and dry. So carbonated it leaves a crackle behind even after the swallow, which adds to the dryness. Overall, for a light import in a clear bottle, this is remarkable. I’m blown away by the aroma. It lacks in taste, but so good. This has some notable characteristics to it, and is less industrial than American macro light lagers. Yes, I would buy this again, and I would recommend it.
2.6 Clear golden liquid with frothy white head. Aroma of straw. Taste of straw, light sweet, medium bitter, light sour. Light body light feel, average carb long fin.
1.9 Heller, laff herber Antrunk. Wässrig, minimal bitter, sehr langweilig. Unnötig. 7/6/9/5/7/6
1.7 Bottle at Heaven Sky Bar, Bangkok. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of dull malt, grains and cardboard. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with high carbonation.
1.6 F: average, white, not long lasting. C: gold, clear. A: malt, sweet sugary, corn, rice, hint of bready. T: malt, cereals, caramel, hint of grassy, watery, light body, normal carbonation, nothing special here, 33cl bottle from local Philippines food shop Avenue de la Chasse, Brussels.
1.5 Pours clear golden with very light foam. Aroma is citrus, dust, light malts, lemonade. Taste is also citrus, some dust, malts, syrup. Just bubbling sourish water. Not for me!
1.4 Bottle : 330 ml, Price: 0.88 eur Skaidrus, gelsvas, beveik negeriamas..
1.4 Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma of cardboard, grains and vegetables. Sweetish flavor with cardboard, graininess, and a faint bitterish finish. Extremely watery.
1.4 330 ml bottle. Clear pale gold color with almost no head. Taste are watery corn beer with no aftertaste. Simple water beer...
1.3 330ml bottle. Pale golden color. Straight from bottle. Sweet, sugary, sweet corn in aroma. Sweet, sugar and watery in taste. Just bland and boring.
1.4 330ml bottle - thanks Marduk! Basically no aroma, some sugar water from adjuncts. Pale, fizzy, and -1 for the clear glass bottle. Fizzy palate, watery. Taste even has carbonic acid, and crappy stale bland malt hint, and nasty astringent bitter extracty hops. Palate left violated. An international master of fuck-ups.
1.2 Remain convinced there is no place for these styles in the beer world. Very light, fizzy, some faint lemon but really not much else. Quite amazingly devoid of flavour.
1.8 Clear glass bottle, always a good sign. Not pouring this one out. Corny, sweaty, grains, water, extracty hops and dishwater. Fizzy. Weird lingering industrial aftertaste. Blech.
