2.0 Copenhagen 2/9 2018. 33 cl bottle from Meny Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Transparent bottle with white label trying to look like print on the bottle (nice try). Pours clear yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. Moderate lacing. Aroma is malty and slightly metallic. Bread, grains and sweet corn. Quite generic. Metallic without being boozy. Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, prickly, lively texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly sweet with a salty touch and not much else. Fairly short. Seems like a product for people who likes a Corona. Succeeds in managing of tasting of not much at all (another way of saying "crisp"). Not terrible - just plain uninteresting.

2.1 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear gold with hardly any head. Surprisingly clean, sweet malty nose. Medium body, again sweet malts, a hint of metal and a very subdued bitterness. Gives you very little resistance - very quaffable. 060718

1.6 330ml bottle, from Perla in Lazur, drunk overlooking the Sea Garden in Burgas. Pours clear with a very brief frothy head, minimal lacing, no visible rising carbonation. Aroma of ground corn, bready malts with slight metallic hints. In the mouth, more of the same in terms of flavour, medium bitterness, some sweetness, watery texture, leading to a short finish with a semi-sweet metallic aftertaste, no alcohol presence. Overall, just another very ordinary pale lager whose main purpose in life is to annoy beer lovers all over the world.

0.7 Bottle, 330 ml. Do not chill down this one. If it's cold, there are no flavours at all. As it gets warmer, some corn start to appear on the nose, but the palate is still empty. I don't know how they made it, but there's no foam, after it goes away in 5 seconds. There's some CO2 inside anyway, but this is light sparkling something. I can't believe people can drink this on a daily basis. The original lager is a correct one, this is like it has been taken all the flavours out from the original, to create something sparky water with beer flavour.

2.1 Hellgelb, klar, wenig Krone. Hat wenig mit einem Bier zu tun. Sehr leicht, minimal Bitterhopfen im Antrunk, und seeehr wässrig. Aber ein guter Durstlöscher.

0.9 330ml bottle that looks a little too much like Corona. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is corn, lemon and light skunkiness. Taste is sweet and watery. Must be the most watery and flavourless beer I have ever drunk. Ridiculous.

1.4 Pours clear golden with low white head. Aroma of bread and malt. Taste is bread, corn sweet with a lingering sweetish finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.

1.4 Botella 33 cl en la Competencia Oviedo 18..02..2017. Lote L4861801328 hasta 27..12..2017. (r131). Color rubio amarillento transparente ligeros toques a limón algo herbaceos. Ligera hasta parecer casi agua. Refrescante como poco o para quitar la sed como sustituto del agua. De lo más corriente.

1.8 Skunk bottle with a lime. Pours medium pale amber with no head and a floating green blob. Scent is scentless. Taste is dirty, dry, pale lager, and slightly peppery. Finish is tiny bit citrus from the lime. Plain. Sad. Fine.

1.6 Clear 330 ml bottle, from Kiwi Tau. ABV is 4.4%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, small white head. Moderate sweetish aroma of candy and newmown grass. Minimal flavour, a little citrus, at least it is not offensive. Hardly any bitterness.

1.3 Bottle from an Idea store in Kotor, Montenegro. Golden-yellow body, huge bubbles but no head. Skunky aroma, vaguely malty and herbal. Taste... alcohol, yes, alcohol, and I don’t seem to be the only one who noticed this, this is a 4.4% beer that smells of ethanol. Some malt as well, but ethanol and corn mainly. This is awful. They brewed an intentionally impressively bad beer, not even pleasant to drink and put it in a clear bottle to get worse. And, even worse, someone decided to import it in Montenegro of all places, as they apparently needed a beer worse than any of their own lagers and all the imported ones. Great going. Anyway, insultingly bad.

1.5 Bottle from a local supermarket in Los Boliches, Spain. Take water and add to the regular San Miguel. This is what you get...

2.4 Bottle from local supermarket, L4861120150, best before 20oct17. Pale yellow coloured with a foamy white head. Nose is malty, grainy, light grassy. Flavour is light malty, slightly sweet, soft texture. Easy drinkable.

2.3 F: snow-white, average, quick gone. C: pale gold, clear. A: malt, light grassy bitterness, hint of sugary sweet, wet paper. T: malty, almost no bitterness, hint of sweet, as I read characteristic of pale lager on RB I understand that ok for the style, but not good as the beer in general, refreshing for summer, light body, normal carbonation, 0,33l bottle from Carrefour in Brussels.
