3.3 Clear brown appearance with a white head. Aroma of toasted malt, mild caramel, light chocolaty notes and hints of smoke. Similar flavor, adding moderate sweetness and a light bittering balance. Light to medium body with a slight watery finish. Solid.
3.3 Bottle poured into a shaker glass. Head disappears quickly. Aroma is a nice blend of nutty, malty, and roasty. Initial taste is balanced between nutty and roasted malt. Aftertaste is roasted and has a mild hoppiness to it. Nice medium body and perfect carbonation. Very drinkable and a great example.
3.6 A dark brown color with a beige head. The aroma contains some chocolate, toffee, and caramel. The flavor is only slightly sweet and somewhat dry with some caramel, chocolate, and nutmeg, The finish is slightly sweet. Overall a very respectable brown ale.
3.5 On tap. Pours a dark brown color with a small head. Aroma of nuts, bit of chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is similar to the aroma. Some bitterness and fairly clean finish. Medium body and quite smooth. Nothing fancy but enjoyable just the same.
3.7 Dark brown body with a very thin tan head. Nice, inviting aroma of coffee, chocolate, and smoke. Medium mouthfeel with a nice punch of carbonation. Very tasty brew. Smooth and mildly bitter. The chocolate, coffee, and smoke are present along with a hint of vanilla. Quite enjoyable.
3.5 Pretty decent brown ale - better than average in my estimate. Nutty and some roast. A touch of coffee like morning campfire. Not quite the smoke of a bonfire. Pours clear mahogany with ok head. Some bitterness in finish. Tap at Plum Market at airport.
3.3 12 oz bottle in Ohio. Pours with a clear, dark, reddish-brown body topped by a rather weak, bubbly head. Appropriate rich, roasty flavor and aroma. Mildly bitter, overall. Medium body and carbonation.
2.2 Aus der Flasche 2015-08 getrunken. Einfaches, gut trinkbars Braunes ohne länger in Erinnerung zu bleiben.
3.4 Nice roasty malt chocolate and smoke aroma. Nitro pour while looking pretty has a thin and watery feel and flavor - think I'd like this quite a bit better old school co2.
3.0 resin, floral, grass, spruce, citrus, herbs, caramel, roasty, bread, hay, cereal, chocolate, coffee, nuts, toast, heavy cloying sweetness, medium sweetness, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium bitterness, lightly sour, medium sourness,

3.4 On tap. Pours a clear orange-brown with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, nuts and light smoke. Sweet flavour of toasted malt, bread, caramel, chocolate, nuts and light smoke with a dry, slightly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.
3.5 Draft at Cora's DTW. Maroon brown color tan head. Aroma of cocoa and vanilla. Taste is dry cocoa with light bitterness. Nice.
3.9 It really isn’t bad for a brown ale. It has some pleasant vanilla flavors with a good drinkability. Hits it’s ceiling.
3.4 Nitro Tap @ Table & Tap: light brown with reddish tones and a beautiful off-white nitro head. Toasty aroma. Super thin body with a nutty malt flavor with a mild cardboard finish.
3.5 12 ounce bottle. Pours a mostly clear reddish brown with a decent tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and nuts. Taste is similar with a touch of chocolate. Nice Brown Ale.
4.2 12 ounce bottle from the sampler case purchased at save on Beer in Pittsburgh. Just about perfect in every category --- keep up the crusade to produce more Browns and less IPAs.
3.2 Hop forward brown ale. First aroma you notice is hops, followed by a dark roast, and finally a bit of sweet. Pour is a dark transparent brown. Flavor is follows aroma, with more balance of hops and a dark toast taste, and a faintly sweet finish. Medium body. Overall an OK brown ale.
3.7 12floz bottle, BOD: 10.20.2017, $1.75 unit cost, nonic glass. Appears brown-amber in color with a thin layer of head. Toasted toffee all the way in the aroma and taste. Well executed brown ale that hits all the notes that it should without any flaws.
3.8 Pours dark brown from the bottle with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma is really perfect for a brown: chocolate, roasted chestnuts, fresh warm cream, a whisp of smoke. Unfortunately the taste is not quite so good: nutty sweet and full of caramel but more sour in the finish than I prefer. Still, very pleasant though. Body is medium with a restrained carbonation. A very nice brown.
3.6 12 oz bottle pours brown with a off white head. Aroma of caramel and nutty. Taste is sweet malts, nutty and chocolate
3.1 Tap. Dark amber color with beige head. Aroma is earthy, chocolate, straw. Taste is earthy, chocolate, brown sugar. High carbonation, rather sweet. Works well enough.
3.7 355ml bottle. Dark brown colour with a small head. Aroma of coffee, dark bread and caramel. The taste is smoky, malty, bready and a bit earthy. The carbonation is medium, and the bitterness is very low. Enjoyed it, and would happily have it again.
3.2 Bottle. A- Toffee, malty. A- Brown color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Toffee, malty, slightly roasty, mild smoke. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly dry finish. O- Not too bad at all for a Brown Ale. Lots of toffee.
3.4 Dark pour with really thick lacing on an off white head. Nice touch of maltiness that was balanced nicely. Enjoyed on draft at the brew pub.
5.0 Love this beer!!! Hints of caramel and chocolate with a smoky finish. Very smooth.
3.1 Bottle to glass, pours brown with an average off white head that left quickly.Roasted nutty nose. Medium mouth feel a bit thin with average carbonation, an OK brown ale.
