3.40.33 bottle @ home
Hazy, dark gold color and a medium, white head. Aroma of citruses, yeasts, and a bit of hoppy musk. Taste is sweet, yeasty, spicy, delicately hoppy. Medium, creamy, soft. Finish is medium long and does not introduce anything new. Overall, your standard tripel with a bit of extra hops.
3.2Bottle tasted.
Poors flaked golden color with a creamy mediim white head.
Riped fruit sl
Stone fruits spices and riped tomato some candi sugar bready malts with some caramel. Medium body with thick carbonation finishes sweet with fruit jelly aftertaste.
3.2Light golden hazy with white head. Banana, ananas, citrus tones in the taste. Little yeasty. But nicely hopped. When drinking ice cold the alcohol is not pronounced. However at elevated temperature it's more expressive.
4.0De Labirratorium. En copa Grimbergen. Con galletas tostarica. Jugando a Spiderman Miles Morales.
3.7Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be.
Pours a hazy light golden colour with a huge thick fluffy white head. Aromas of floral, banana, melon, apple, citrus and a touch of spice. Taste is similar to the aroma with some added herbal and sweetish notes. Medium body, low carbonation with a very smooth mouthfeel and a subtle floral hop and spice finish. Nice elegant beer.
3.7Bottle. Pours a clear gold with little head. Aroma is malt, honey, citrus, hops. Medium to big body. Flavour is malty, slightly sweet, slightly bitter, a touch of honey, herbal with a little bit of citrus. Finish is bittersweet. Very nice tripel!
3.6Golden hazy with a two centimetre thick head.
Grainy, malty and spicy smell. Fruity, citric taste with a noticeable alcohol flavour.
4.3Golden color, good head. Nose: citric, oranges, yellow fruits. Taste: floral, citric fruits, yellow fruits, cake, hint of meat, herbal and subtly spicy and hoppy. Full, smooth. Slightly bitter finish. Nicely balanced flavours, quite some depth and development. Lingering hoppy and fruity aftertaste. Very nice! Definitely among the best of its kind.
3.8330ml bottle at Cafe Gollem, Amsterdam on 14/12/2009. Big coriander, clove and honey aroma. Loads of spicy, fruity, yeasty flavours. Very nice.
3.4Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Sweet malt, some banana, light coriander. Decent.
3.4Funny that I never rated this oldie before. Slightly hazy yellow to golden pour with generous white head; decent retention. Aroma is nice the first time: fruity (yellow fruits, bit banana), strong spices (coriander); second time less clear, still fruity and spicy. Taste medium sweet with some pleasant bitterness, firm spices (cardemom), dry aftertaste; well in balance, not too sweet, first time also some orange. Good body and firm carbo. Not bad at all.
(Combined rates 24/01/20 and 19/03/21: 7-4-7-4-15 = 3.7)
Third time, with new label, even crystal clear golden, with again a firm and stable white head. But this time far less clear aroma (malty, no fruits or spices). Taste pleasant but more general bitter-sweet with little characteristics and mild sweetie aftertaste. And mild carbo. Weird, this difference... (Re-rate on 13/07/22: 6-4-7-3-14 = 3.4)
3.4Kran 0,5 l w Omercie.
3.133 cl bottle at home. Drank on October 17th 2019 as Zeezuiper Tripel (8,0%).

3.533 cl fles.
3.5Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours classic gold with minimum white foam. Aroma is yeasty and fruity. Body is dense, with average carbonation. Taste is pretty sweet. Finish is fairly long and sweet.
3.3Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish.
3.5Bottle - 330ml. Pours a nice, hazy, golden body with an average, lasting, white foamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with honeyish hints. Its malty/hoppy taste carries honeyish floral, and herbal notes. Ends with a decent, moderately warming, bittersweet finish. Enjoyable.
4.8Heerlijk licht fruitig bier
4.3Purchased at The Malting Pot for €6.90, Zeezuiper is a Belgian Tripel brewed by Brouwerij Schelde.
The air reveals clove, coriander, and Belgian yeast on the nose as you drink. The appearance is an orange amber with a low white head. The alcohol content is 8%.
The ester of Belgian yeast is rich and spicy to the body with banana following as the beer wanes. Clove adds tone to the comprehension and spices the take. Coriander is wholesome to the yeasty complexion. The dry finish yields the coriander and clove along with a pear character.
Orange peel is notable with the coriander. Apricots broadens and provides juiciness with the orange peel. Peaches round out the yeast and orange peel. Caramel is sensible with the peach profile. Barley malt is felt with the yeast dries.
Zeezuiper is a remarkable Belgian Tripel. The Belgian yeast, coriander, clove, orange peel, and peach give a unique feel to the complexion. The final product is delicious and infectious to drink. If you are fond of the Belgian style, this is a hallmark to the tradition. As I navigate what local Belgian brews I find, it gets harder to pick and choose which to pick and choose which I want to bring back home to share.
Cheers. Prost. Drink for the love of beer.
