Strandgaper is a real musselbeer. Its full, smooth malty flavor and refreshing bittersweet finish make it the ideal accompaniment to a mussel dish.

2.80,3 litre Bottle from Tax Free store at Schipol AirPort. Golden with white head. Malts, hops, belgian yeast.
3.5Hazy golden/amber with some white head, that dilapidates quickly. Intense taste with a blend of grainy, hoppy and fruity flavours, and a gently bitter palate. Quite drinkable.
3.4Golden orange, white head. Fresh smooth ale with a soft bitterness. Easy drinkable, touches of fruit, bits of banana.
3.0Cloudy yellow orange pour with a medium sized white head. smell of yeast, hidden malts and orange peel. Fresh taste, citrus fruits and malt, as it warms up a bit of saltyness opens up. Thin bodied and medium amount of bubblies. Refreshing beer, not great though.
3.1330ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden yellow pour, small white head with thin retention. Nose is sweetish, honey and banana, yeast, phenols. Flavor is similar to the nose, but with more hops and esters, less phenolic, but they're still there, especially in the finish. Lingering sweet phenols.
3.3Flesje@ Bonaparte Venlo. Gouden kleur, mooie kraag. Gedronken tijdens het eten, niet echt goed geproefd. Fruitig, mout, medium body. OK.
3.3Trübes, dunkles Orangegold mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Malzig, leicht fruchtig, etwas Banane, Orangenschale, etwas Honig, weich.

2.633 cl bottle @ home. Hazy, copper colour, full white head. Yeasty aroma with some overripe fruits. Some for taste, added with a mild sourness and a hoppy bitterness. Dry palate.
2.9Clear dark golden and red beer with long lasting frothy white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, yeast. Taste is weak sweet and little bit hoppy bitter in the end. Medium body. Still easy refreshing easy drinkable beer.
3.1Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Ester yeast aroma. Peachy blond beer. Some hop on the finish. I quite liked the Peachy esters throughout some bitterness on the finish. Not too exciting but competent enough.
2.1What with the growing trend of hoppier blond ales, this sweet, estery, phenolic one is almost old school. Attractive, nearly clear deep gold color, creamy white foam soon fades. Smells of light honey/caramel, overripe banana, tinned peach syrup, and whiffs of rotting veggies in the garbage (DMS). Sweet, fruity-syrupy taste, cloys a bit, low bitterness. Yeasty plastic burps. Hmm, best before 12/2017, maybe some autolysis and oxidation. Still, way too homebrewish for a brewery of this stature.
3.4F: huge, white, long lasting.
C: golden, hazy.
A: malty, fruity, candy sugar, orange peels, spicy, grassy, yeasty, citrus.
T: malty, orange peels, spicy, floral, bit of lemon peel, yeasty, quite refreshing, medium to full body, medium carbonation, good, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Spar supermarket in Oostende.
3.6W aromacie chleby, karmel.
Bloemig aroma, hooi, gist. Licht fruitig in de mond, tarwe, beetje vanille. Lekker doordrinkbier. Niks speciaals maar goed.
2.8Fresh, citrus, a touch of bitterness. It’s an easy beer, but not too average. Too much citrus for my taste.

3.5Yeast, citrus, hints of hoppy, golden with a good white head, medium body, medium carbonation, citrus, quite bitter finish...very easy drinkable belgian ale.
3.0Malty caramel, some banana floral hops. Light sweetness with light bitterness. Boring, but decen
3.3Bottled, 330ml from The Spar Supermarket, Ostend, West Flanders, Belgium. Hazy pale gold with white head. This was quite a smooth, malty beer initially, there is a little fruitiness along with some Belgian yeasty notes, banana and pear drop and just a touch of salty caramel. Reasonable.
