3.6 On tap at Sukaiba, Copenhagen. Deep dark red-brown with a fine tan foam, fruity-sweet nose with dark fruits and a touch of Christmas cake. Burnt-sweet and sticky, rich and cakey, notes of molasses and a little tar. Very nice.
3.6 Bottle. Dark brown color With medium creamy off-white mostly lastning head. Aroma is roasted malt. Sweet spicy flavor. Creamy palate.
2.5 On tap at Royal Arena Copenhagen. Pours dark amber with thick white foamy head. Malty and somewhat sweet body. OK dark lager.
3.9 Schiøtz Mørk Mumme 6.5%. Red, dark caramel malt aroma, medium bodied, dark caramel malt, dried fruit, spices. Gorgeous Dubbel style ale from Copenhagen, Denmark 🇩🇰
2.9 I don´t know, nothing special I guess, cannot really recall anything special about this one. It looked sad, no special aroma, taste that I´ve tasted already plenty of times, no surprises.
3.9 Hmmm really don't get the bad reviews on this one. It's very interesting..starts off as a Belgian dubbel, but I really taste roses a while later...The other tastes are difficult to explain but this is too underrated..Cheers from China ;)
4.0 Bottle shared with IH and KH at Poa Kichizi bryggeri. Clear dark chestnuts. Beige head. Excellent aroma and taste of figs, dates, roasted malt, coffee and herbs. Good!
4.2 Poa Kichizi. Idar. Egil. Tutti frutti tyggis. Lim.
4.0 Til dem som ikke er så vilde med Mørk øl, så synes jeg denne er drikkevenlig!
2.6 Mahogani with a beige head. Malty aroma with notes of herbs, berries, wood and yeast. Sweet taste with a tiny, tiny bit of berry sourness. Not bad, but not impressive either. But the description of Theodor Schiøtz is something to remember. An old school gent!
3.4 Bottle @ Jensens Bøffhus, Aalborg. Clear, dark amber body with a nice, dense, creamy tan head. Aroma has dark malt, toast and coffee. Flavor has smooth dark malt, slightly roasted, bread, toast, and some general fruitiness. Medium to moderate bitterness and dry finish. A bit thin bodied but I fine match to my steak. I think this is a bit better than what the average score indicates here, might have something to do with the reputation for this brewery?
4.0 Rigtig god og fyldig smag. Mild øf rund.
3.4 Aroma; roasted malts, caramel, nuts, cola bean, sweet soft mild hops. Look; fawn-beige diminishing head, clear brown-mahogany-red'ish body. Taste; roasted malts, caramel, nut, cola, sweet mild herbs as hops, fruit, tiny malted candy, and finishes fruity and darkmalted. Feel; ok body and modest co2. Overall; good inoffensive beer, dark type, women friendly. [50cl.btl tasted@nearby Tollboden Tromsø] 5474'14
3.8 Lovely, Christmassy brew. Dark, but not overpoweringly spicy. Wish I could find this one in Norway.
Middels fylde. Smaker søt, maltig, brunt brent sukker og trevirke. Middels lang.
2.8 Bottle as Norden Dark Mumme. The beer has got a dark brown colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of malt and bread. Taste of malt, bread, dough, herbs. Malty finish.
1.6 Modest beige head, dark copper body. Stinks of candied shoe leather. Flavour is a lot of molasses, sharp caramel, some wood. Heavy and cloying, a bad syrupy beer.
2.1 50cl bottle. Hotel room tasting, Copenhagen. Dark amber in color with a thin white head. Bready sweet and syrupy. Sweet malts, liquid bread, very sweet.
1.9 Flot mørk farve og skum, bitterheden overdøver eftersmagen. Fik den på fad.
1.5 Kan fornemme jul og hygge i denne, men der er bare alt for lidt, "kraft og smag", af det
3.2 Ceres Norden Dark Mumme. Bottled 0,50L. Nice dark ruby and light hazy color, light bubbly aspect and discreet long head duration. Roasty caramel and braced wood aroma, decided and equilibrate alcohol and ashed corn aroma, sugary smell. Medium prickly mouth, good carbonation and equilibrate sweet mouth with notes of sweet caramel, cortex and sugary cereals.
3.0 Bottled 330ml. -from random gas station near Milano as Ceres Norden Dark Mumme. Dark amber coloured, medium sized beige head, some caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, dried fruits and touch of nuts with light alcohol and caramel in the finish. Pretty boring.
2.4 Aus der Flasche in der Sonderborg-Brauerei getrunken. Dunkelbraun mit beiger Schaumkrone. Würzig-malzig mit langem malzigen Abgang.
2.9 Tasted 2017-12-27. Pours clear dark red with beige head. Aroma of banana bread. Roasted malts dominant. Not overly sweet. Slightly bitter finish.
2.8 Clear light brown with a tan head. Aroma is spices and som sweet candy. Taste is malt, fruit and spices.
2.0 On bottle. Pours clear red, with white top. The beer is watery, with notes of berries, like sunberry. The scent is like raspberry and sunberry.
2.8 Interessantes Bier. Aroma noch relativ dezent. Würzige Florale Noten. Die tragen auch den Geschmack maßgeblich. Waldfrüchte, harzige Noten mit malzigen Röstaromen. Abgang dominante Röstaromen mit leichter Süße.
5.0 Great Danish Beer With Nordic berries The lord gives us all. Best beer from Albani
