Schneider Weisse Tap 02 - Kristall

Schneider Weisse Tap 02 - Kristall

Schneider Weisse Kristall was created by Georg V. Schneider in the 1980’s. This elegant and sparkling wheat beer is not only a great refreshment but can also serve as the perfect alternative to sparkling wine and prosecco when served with a shot of elderberry syrup. Bottle conditioned.

Ingredients: water, wheat malt (50%), barley malt (50%), hops (Magnum, Cascade, Hallertauer Saphir), yeast.

3.2 Golden colour, clear, large frothy head that stays for a while. Aroma is white bread crust, some herbal hops, malt. Light bitterness, slightly sour which isn't very pleasant. Lively carbonation, feels too high, light body. Not my favourite.
3.4 Copenhagen 6/11 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Schneider’s usual design with a white label with a light blue stripe across. Pours clear golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, lemonade-ish odor with tart citric notes. White sugar, oranges, peach. Subtle citrus sour scent. Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish. Well-balanced and well made. If not overly exciting.
3.1 Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy golden pour, two finger creamyy white head, long lasting. Slight lacing on the glass. Herbal, grainy nose. Notes of stale grass and citruses. Light body, medium to high carbonation, quite lively. Lightweight mouthfeel and texture, watery, fizzy, prickly. Moderately bitter taste with slight citrus tart. Aroma of herbs and grains, stale grass, wheat. Yeast, hints of banana and cloves. Minerals, earthy, a bit bland. Short lasting finish. Not bad for a kristaal but overall it's quite bland and watery. I simply prefer regular hefe.
3.4 On tap at the brewery (we're sat in the garden) Friday 9th October 2020, we're staying in Frank at a parking place for campervans about 500m away (result). Pours clear straw colour, fruity, banana is very subtle, nice soft mouthfeel, fruity, pleasant.
3.4 0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, a bit old. Shared with little Dina. Clear golden, small diminishing white head. A bit harsh lemony aroma, orange, some stone fruit, some banana. Flavour is softly malty with a stronger clove presence. Light body, some sweetness, dry finish, nicely rounded and spicy. Began slightly sloppy, finished quite nice ^^
3.1 Pale gold, short lived slightly cream coloured head. Aroma touch subdued but some banana and spice. Clean tasting, pleasant enough but a slightly neutered hefeweizen, as is typical of the style.
3.9 Clear golden with a decent white head. Citrus aroma. Taste is yeast and more citrus, subtle bitterness. One of the best Kristall.
3.7 Clear, nice foam
3.2 16Jan2020 Sweet grain and cereal malts, caramel, bread, molasses. Clear gold, medium, creamy, white, frothy head. Light bitter. Light citrus fruits, lemon peel, sweet grain and cereal malts, esters, medium carbonation, medium bodied. Alright. Bottle at L6 Tasting, London.
3.0 Bottle, 500 ml. Clear golden with medium white head. Some banana, yeasty, sweetish, quite bland. Light bodied. Not my thing.
3.2 Berrak sarısı altın renkte, bol ve kalıcı köpüklü narenciye aroması belirgin alman buğday birası.
3.3 Bottle split at L6, picked up online, 16/01/20. Clear golden with a decent just off white head. Nose is mellow fruit esters, grass, hint of nana, light spice, toasted grains. Taste comprises straw, lemon rind, light banana esters, clove, grains, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent refreshing Weiss.
3.5 # 1170; 8/2018. Na Kristallweizen vynikající pivo. Čiré, slámové, s bohatou pěnou a plnou, velmi kořeněnou, typickou pšeničnou chutí.
3.2 16th January 2020 Clear paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts, a whiper of lager character. Mild and tangy thin floral citrus. Light finish. Tidy.
3.6 Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and dried apricot. Flavour of grass and coriander seeds. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and bitter.
3.7 Pours a clear golden yellow on tap with fluffy white peaks of foam that dissipate slowly to leave good lacing. Aroma of mild isoamyl banana esters over sweet wheat and floral hops. Taste follows, the esters are less pronounced than the original, but the flavor is definitely there compared to a lager. Refreshing and great on draught.
3.4 Jasnozłociste klarowne piwo z obfitą pianą która dość szybko opada. Aromat lekko owocowy, głównie banany. W smaku podobnie banany plus inne owoce. Niezły kristal
3.7 A german, golden, clear Kristallweizen with high white head. Aroma is yeast, malt, fruit, light banana, white raisins. Taste is bitter sweet. Pearly.
2.9 Filtered Hefeweizen. Medium to large white head. Medium carbonation. Clear gold appearance. Light body in the mouth with a medium taste. A little dry at finish.
3.3 Аромат: легкий, средней насыщенности, зерновой, сладковато-пшеничный. Вкус: простой, понятный, очень питкий, горечь отсутсвует. Немного скучноватый образец, для уталения жажды летним днём.
2.0 Acidic, thin, filtered weissbier. Not much body. Had expected more as the regular Schneider weissbier is great...
3.4 A: Clear gold with a medium-large white head. N: Banana and clove notes apparent. T: Banana and clove again, with a medium-sweet body and lively carbonation. P: Medium O: Enjoyable example of the style.
3.4 Bottle from Hop, Burns & Black. Pale clear amber beer with a large white foam head. Nose is creamy wheat, lemon, dried coriander, light banana, baked brioche, clove. Taste is baked bread, doughy wheat, lemon, coriander, light banana, creamy.
2.8 Bottle. A- Banana, wheat, straw. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Banana, wheat, grain. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- After a couple great Kristalls I've learning the rest suck. This was underwhelming and only had a strong wheat flavor. Boring.
3.2 Bottle at home from Brewdog online. A crystal clear pale golden coloured pour with a big ol' rocky white head that lasts. Aroma is banana bread, low staling, clove, white bread. Flavour is composed of pale breads, some metalic bite, banaanaa phenol, bitter bite in the finish. Palate is dry and airy carboantion, bitter bitye. Finish is dry. Little abrasive. Fine.
3.2 Light Golden, Hazy, White BeerHead, with frothy, creamy, and thick foam, Good retention. Sparkling body. The aroma of beer is similar to normal German weissebier, Banana, clove-like, bread, dough. Light sweetness, Light body, Low Bitterness, Medium carbonation. The beer has oxidized, but the taste is clear that wheat-maltiness, grain, straw and fruity esters. The aftertaste is crispy, clean. Overall, it's a good drinkability beer.
3.5 Colore giallo limpido, schiuma poco consistente. Gusto leggermente fruttato sentori di lievito. Poco Weisse molto più simile ad una lager.
2.6 10/20 crystal clear, fresh with slight carbonation, strong banana taste, pleasant
