3.3Bottle from 2016 Systembolaget Sweden. Short off white head. Clear orange color. Mild caramell malt aroma. Caramell taste and full body. Unfortunantly it is a bit old.
3.9Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. 2016 edition. Best before: 15/1/18.
Pours hazy amber with a thinning, foamy, off-white head. Intense aroma of wheat, honey, ripe banana, spices, white bread, yeast, apple & apple cake. It tastes medium fruity sweet (apple again) and light to medium spicy/hoppy bitter; wheaty, hoppy finish with warming (liqueur) alcohol. Full body, slick/syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation. Great dessert beer.
4.2The pour releases a nice head with minimal lacing over a deep copper-colored brew with an aroma of whole wheat bread, yeast, caramel and mowed grass. Sweet taste though by no means overwhelming, with nice combo sweetness and hop bite on the finish. High ABV not evident in the texture as this is smooth and even-bodied. Poured from a 2016 vintage bomber dusted off from the beer cellar. Very sad to see this weizenbock has been retired.
4.3the aroma is fruity and caramel with hints of toffee, bisquit, sweet berries, red wine and prunes... the taste is caramel and fruity with notes of port, toffee, dry plum and apples, garden berries and cake... sweet, dry and warming aftertaste...
3.3Bold, thick, super malt infused with sweet, malty, candies/light caramel alike flavors. But it tends to lack the flavor versatility towards the end of glass, it becomes boring- just thick, malty sweet. So when i tried it second time- I wasnt pleased at all. Deep amber color, syrupy texture. I guess it is best to have no more sips of it as 2-3 persons can share the bottle.
4.0On keg at Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Pours clear amber red with a frothy off white head. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, wheat, yeast, banana, dried fruits. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, light bitter, sweet malts, caramel, wood, banana, marzipan, dried fruits, spices. Medium bodied, frothy car, sweet finish. Nice!
Trochę ciemnych świeżych i suszonych owoców.
4.1Bottle, 2016 Limited Edition, from Beer Lovers, Vienna. Pours hazy dark amber with almost no head. Aroma of toffee, dark fruits, banana, berries, light spice, baked apple, hint of honey and alcohol. Quite heavy sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Sweet, toffee, fruit finish. Very good.
3.9Draft - pours amber - nose and taste of caramel sweetness, toffee, candy sugar - megium body
4.1Butelka. Nieco landrynkowe, brzoskwinie, lekko przyprawowe, sporo owoców. W smaku półsłodkie, dość pełne. Sporo chlebowości, owoców, dość wytrawny finisz. Bardzo dobre, dobry balans.
4.1Schwerfällig in Richtung BarleyWine. OrangoMarmelady, holziger BananaSplit & dezent boozy verwildert. SirupWeisse Deluxe👌🙌 Vintage 2016. Big Bottle Fun...
4.0Nice beer, and great around Christmas because it has a lot of dark fruit with a touch of spice that is great for a cold winter day. Glad I was able to pick one up.

Finale divinement mariale ..
CONCLUSION : bière extraordinaire, merveilleuse, splendide ..
Pours hazy red-ish, with little to no head. The scent is filled with honey and pears. The texture is creamy, with no carbonation. The taste is lightly sour. Notes of berries and alcohol. It has an intense honey sweetness, with this lambic-ish sourness.
It’s really heavy - I do not, personally, like the sweetness from the honey and the sour berries. It does not play along.
3.9Huge malty cocktail, some honey, light pepper and dried fruits, rich yeast profile, banana. Mostly sweet with light bitterness. Lovely sipper.
4.4Amber pour with a thin fast fading head. The aroma is fantastic. Bright wheat malt with a touch of spice and a really great yeast profile. Sort of a touch of sweetness and a bit of fruit. There's a bit of peach and a bit of berry in addition to a sweet wheatiness. Peppery ethanol lends a very warming finish on the back. A touch of soft sweetness with a bit of grassiness. There's a bit of banana and clove but it's pretty restrained. Some apple and slightly chewy sweetness. Damn delicious really.
3.4Bottle Christmas after family went to bed just my dog and I by the fire. Dullish orange pour small head. Nose is ripe fruit some candy. Tastes of apple, banana, wheat, toffee and some boozy slickness. Semi sweet.
3.8Bottle, August 2016. Humming plum, banana and burnt clove nostril. Muddy amber with a creamy top. Silken banofee taste with warm honey booze, white pepper and clove. Nicely estered up if somewhat soupy towards the bottom. Went nice with some lemon meringue roulade. Fine supping, if wildly overpriced.
3.5Bottle. Light amber, nice head. Aroma is slightly boozy, dried fruits, some acidic notes. Taste is dried fruits, I think also some hint of starting infection.
3.7Bottle from Bavaria trip.
Yes yes... Cold days coming time to rush beer cellar for high voltage pieces. This one is decent representative for the class. Quite sweetish on malty base with light warming alcohol. Bitterness is just enough. Bit heavy but that is something expected from bock right.
Oh and yes, I've just made little Z asleep. Damn I'm so good.
Geruch Karamell, Frucht. Im Geschmack dann alkoholisch, einige höhere Alkohole.
3.5375ml bottle (2016 vintage) from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours cloudy light brown with a large beige head. Aroma is toffee, plums, alcohol, honey. Taste is medium sweet, boozey, bananas, plums.
3.137,5 cl bottle @ home, BBE 18.01.2018
Aroma has funky and fruity yeast with ripe apricot – feels like a sweetish Belgian strong. Flavour has apricot, fruit candy, alcohol and some funky yeast. Also mild grass and bush leaves. Aroma was nice but alcohol is too evident in the taste.
3.4Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a cup. Aroma is rich banana, medium body, syrupy texture, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is ripe banana.
3.1A 750ml bottle with a best before date of 15th January 2018. Poured into a Riedel weizen glass. It was a clear copper amber colour with a one finger light beige head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some lacing. Aromas of freshly crushed apple juice, red grapes, plum and brown sugar with light caramel in the background. Tastes of sweet fruitiness, plum, prune, raisin, grape and apple. Honey and caramel sweetness and a touch of peppery spice come through on the finish along with a hint of boozy alcohol. Medium to full bodied with light carbonation. Overall, I’m a big fan of Schneider, but this one just didn’t work out for me. Too much sweetness, the spice and the booziness just clashed and made it hard for me to finish.
2.9Bottle (2016 vintage). Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white to light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark amber. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel), with notes of brown sugar, sherry, alcohol, marmalade, red wine. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation, heavily alcoholic, lightly astringent.
The aroma starts things off pleasantly enough, offering some interesting notes, no flaws, and less oxidation than expected. Sadly in the mouth it's intensely sweet and syrupy, so it's very hard to enjoyably drink. Presents as more of a barleywine than a Doppelbock IMHO.
3.9Bottle in Seattle. Lightly clouded and rich rosy brown. Nice sweet, red fruit and lightly acidic nose. Full sip, balanced and nuanced, red tart fruit mixed with a refined, delicate wheat. A treat.
