3.8 Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, honey dew alike, slight bready, very herbal and a bit foral, a touch of esters - maby yeast. Quite hoppy, with loads of bitterns and loads of nobel hop aroma, prickly mouthfeel and rather refreshing - noble hops, foral, touch of minerals. Quite bitter. Good stuff. Thx Dolle
4.2 Bottle. Clear golden color, fine white head. Very fresh, floral, spicy aroma. Dry taste, medium bitterness. Crisp, malt character, spicy. floral, light resinous, very fresh. High carbonation, full body. That's what a Pils should taste like.
3.5 Bottle, thanks rauchbierlover. Floral notes, dough, zesty notes floating around, faint diacetyl, lightly soapy, like rubbing hop cones. Lightly dry, herbal and soft fruit notes playing until potent herbal bitterness takes over. Medium body, pearly carbonation, fruity and bittern finish. Very intense and nicely executed, very potent bitterness threatens to be overpowering, but it somehow powers through.
3.8 Bardzo dobre
3.6 Herbs, tobacco, earthy notes, cereal, citrus and some sulfur in nose. Pours golden with white head. Taste is medium dry with herbs, cereal, some citrus and tobacco. Medium bitter finish, average carbo. Overall good pilsner with somewhat long-lasting bitterness. On tap at Browariat, Katowice.
4.1 Bottled 0,33L. Golden bright yellow color, hazy aspect, lively and elegant head of medium/long duration. Intence and unusual aroma, fresh and green hops, pale malt, citrus, orange peel, pepper, spiced and prickly nose. Lively and crisp mouth, pleasant sour and citric palate, fresh hope, cereals, spiced and prickly citrus final. Very agreable and uncommon pils.
3.1 Ottima pils provata in bottiglia. Il giusto amaro....dissetante e fresca. Ideale d'estate.
3.8 Schönramer Grünhopfen Pils pours a pale golden color with a hint of translucency and sports a white head with big bubbles and good retention. The bouquet consists primarily of notes from orthodox German noble hops: floral, earthy, woody, spicy, and subtly citric. The attack unfolds the malt note of white bread, which gets steadily overwritten by the noble hops on the mid-palate. The bitterness is sharply snappy and stays in the very clean finish along with the initial notes of bready barley malt, which reappear as the hops make way for it. Pretty damn good pils.
3.6 Bottle shared at Kaapse 4th Anniversary. Clear golden with white head. Sweet pils malts and grassy hops. Light sweet and medium bitter.
3.7 Bottle shared thanks to sjogro! Slight hazy yellow golden with lasting bright white head. Sweet creamy pils malts, dank grassy hops, soft almonds, lemon peel, more nice clean malts, soft chicory. Medium sweet and over medium bitter. Bit over medium bodied with a bit doughy feel. Very tasty.
3.7 Bottle at Foersters Fine Biere. Rich and aromatic, fruity, some citrus. Light on the bitterness. Delicate. (Norwegian Beer Symposium 2018)
3.6 Barwa jasno złota, piwo klarowne, piana białą wysoka. Aromat średnio-intensywny, podbudowa słodowa (ziarno, pieczywo) z wyraźnym ziołowym chmielem, w tle diacetyl w postaci słodkiego masła. W smaku lekkie, bardzo orzeźwiające, pieczywo i ziołowa goryczka.
3.0 Fra flaske på Foesters Feine Biere Berlin 11 Jan 18. Sesjon med masse nordmenn. Uklar. Korngul. Aroma av korn. Smaken tørr & lett fruktig. Veldig tørr ettersmak.
3.3 Poured from a bottle during a tasting session at Foersters Feine Biere, shared with Finn. A patchy white head to a hazy golden body. Spotty lacing. Modest smell of herbal hops and grass. Mixed taste of ripe citrus and pale malts. Nice, discreet, dry bitter ending. Fine bodied. Decent version of the style. (Berlin 11.01.2018).
3.6 Bottle from SinH4, many thanks Stefan! Pours slightly unclear yellow with a frothy, white head. Grainy bread aroma with cereal, grass and hoppy citrus. Taste is cereal, a very light butterscotch caramel and some dry grass bitterness. Great balance but the aroma is a bit too basic.
3.3 Barwa lekko złota, piana duża. Aromat ziołowy, trochę trawy i lekkie cytrusy. W smaku w zasadzie podobnie. Goryczka lekka, wyczuwalna. Spoko pifko.
4.2 Tough aroma of grain with notes of sulfur and harsh hoppy note. Very fresh and noble. Translucent golden in the glass with a thick white head. Taste is semi dry with grain straw, malty base and hoppy herbal touch with sulfuric scratches. Really magnificent. Very good, but longer maturation will show the best what that pilsener gonna be.
2.9 Golden. Aroma is a nice mix of grass herbs and gummy bears light wood/tree bark maybe pizza. Taste is sour awkward hops with almost no sweetness. Quite some bitterness. Medium fresh. Could be more balanced. Not very smooth. Medium drinkable with some starch in the finish. Ok.
3.7 330 ml bottle. Pours pale golden with a nice creamy head. Spicy hoppy nose. Grassy and herbal notes, aroma hops and citrus, grapefruit, hay. Hoppy and fruity bitterness, with a dry sour finish. Creamy texture, medium body. Hoppy finish and lasting aftertaste. Very nice Pilsener.
3.1 Slightly darker than golden with a bit of haziness, more hazy on second pour. Good frothy white head, ok retention and nice lacing. Reasonably fresh aroma shows herbal/grassy notes and a bit of citric fruitiness among a cerealish and grainy malts base. Taste follows the aroma, again with good enough intensity. Medium sweet and low to medium bitter, with a semi-dry grassy and slightly bitter finish. Overall still on the sweet side for a pilsner. Getting a slight hint of vegetables and an overall not too clean finish. Light bodied with average carbonation, going down easy as it should be. Overall not totally flawless and not 100% true to 'pils' label. Still enjoybale.
4.2 Piwo skonsumowane. Ocena na podstawie retrospekcji w celu uzupełnienia profilu.
Zudem leicht fruchtig. Südfrucht, Grapefruit, aber moderat. Bitter im Gaumen. Vielschichtiges und sehr gutes Pils
3.8 Bottle poured into Spiegelau IPA Glass. Pours clear yellow with huge white head. Nose is fresh herbal, slightly malty. Taste refreshing herbal to grassy, Green tea. Finish Kind of bitter. Best Pilsener in a Long time.
3.6 0,33l bottle at home courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks for this one. BB 04.11.2017. almost clear yellow color, medium big white head. smells of tobacco, lightly citric, grassy, light chlorophyl, bit breadish. nice smell. medium body, prickly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, tobacco, rather cheewy, doughy, some light fruity notes, bit peppery, lightly citric. finishes lightly bitter with notes of grass, tobacco and some breadish notes. quite nice one, great balance.
2.5 Bottle, 33cL. Home. Best before april 2017. Christmas gift from SecretSanta ! Thank you. A pale golden light opaque beer with a big white head ; medium retention ; good lacing. Light herb, dusty grain, vegetable notes. Light to medium dry bitter refreshing, light sweet. Light body, thin texture, good carbonation, dry bitter refreshing finish. Overall, meh ; refreshing but definitely rough around the edges. Disappointing right now : I think I am missing something... I will have to re-rate this one.
4.0 Almost clear, golden colour, nice head. Aroma: hoppy; floral, grassy, some fruits. Medium body, medium sweetness, medium bitterness. Quite clean profile, bit of fruits, flavour focused on hoppy side.
3.8 Bottle. Clear golden colour, nice white head. Lightly herbal but mainly bready, malty aroma followed but nice crisp, bit bready taste with herbal note and bitter hoppy and dry finish. Really good German pils.
