3.0 From the 12 fl. oz. bottle marked 0224P. The pour is golden yellow with a quick topping of white fizzy head and then it fades. The aroma has plenty of raspberries on the nose and maybe a slight wheat note in the background. The body is light and refreshing. The acidity from the raspberries really comes through on the taste with a clean, crisp hop finish. I happen to like raspberries better than some of the other standard fruits that breweries use for their fruit beers so this one isn’t bad.
2.7 Small head, thin malts, hints of citrus (raspberry being the predominant note). Nothing special.
4.0 A little watery, but genuinely tastes of raspberries and I really enjoyed it.
3.0 Clear, golden, rather bubbly body under a white, light, completely diminishing, popping head. Very floral with a hint of raspberry. Flat, and thin on the palate.
3.4 Good and refreshing, ncie and quite sweet but not too strong and can enjoy with no porblem.
2.4 Deep gold with a small tan head. Nose is soft raspberry. Taste is light, slightly wheaty, mild raspberry. Tasty, just very light, in a wine-cooler way.
2.5 3 apr 2013, bottle. Yellow, clear, steady bubbles. Nose is raspberry syrup and some lager malt. Thin body and fizzy. Tastes is raspberry syrup and a very light lager.
4.0 Moderate raspberry aroma on opening. Apparent wheat flavor but not much raspberry taste (bottle review). Re-rated based on draft pour in a taster at brewpub in South Portland, ME (6/9/2013). This poured a light amber color, light head and lacing. Raspberry aroma is present on the nose along with the wheat. Wheat flavor on the palate with undertones of raspberry. The fruit nicely balances the wheat and makes this a refreshing drink. It’s definitely better on draft than from the bottle in my experience (although it was still fairly good from the bottle).
2.4 12oz bottle - pours clear gold with little white head. Nose is raspberry. Flavor adds a malt base with artificial fruit flavors. Sweet and a little tart. Thin. Refreshing considering how long I accidentally left it in the freezer. I’m usually a sucker for fruity he’s but this one does not intrigue me.
2.5 From wife’s glass. Pale gold color, lots of carbonation. Nose is predictably raspberry and some wheat. Crisp and sweet. Easy to drink. Clearly Canadian with a little bit of alcohol.
1.6 Don’t let the "wheat" part fool you, this has no properties of a wheat-type beer at all. It is very clear and thin and watery. Oh, and absolutely undrinkably sweet. For people who’d rather have a wine cooler but there are none left.
1.9 Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy and light amber color with a small white head. Nose is very fruity with strong raspberry notes - nothing else comes through. Taste is sweet and fruity, as well. Tastes more like a raspberry-ade.
3.0 12oz bottle, pour as a lager hints of raspbery aromas. Taste of artificial raspberry flavors, not a hints of hop flavors. Easy brew to drink, light body, thin feel, bread, and medium sweetness. Low in abv., crisp taste.
2.4 I break my streak of rating fruit beers fr this? Really uninspiring. Too sweet in every way.
3.0 bread, golden, orange, hazy, white foam, minimal head, lively, thin feel, light body,
3.0 Kinda tastes like watered-down blue raspberry slushie. The local Buffalo Wild Wings had these on special for $1 per bottle. Me and some friends ended up playing "landmines" on the table with these and the blueberry ones. I just remember it being a great buzz for pretty cheap.
3.8 Pours a medium gold as does its cousin Apricot Wheat. The nose is raspberry a tad fuller than the Apricot and the body is medium with less bitterness than the apricot. This brew uses Willamette and Hallertau hops while the apicot uses Cascade, Willamette, and Tettnang; so, the difference is expected. Both are pleasant fruit brews that are not overwhelmed by the fruit.
2.1 Pours clear yellow..aroma of cough suryp.. taste is as expected but i hate it..dont know why i bought it...i suck
2.4 Numerous bottles in college. This is more of your fruity pop type fruit beers. Basically the girls like this shit because its sweet and doesnt really have too many other strong flavors besides some watery raspberry. Potential Panty Dropper but it depends on the gal...
3.2 This beer is very sweet and raspberry with red color and little lacing. The aroma is all raspberry with no apparent hop flavors or other flavors which could be isolated.
2.9 12 ounce bottle pours a golden color, aromas of raspberries, light citrus, and some light wheat. Flavors are the same, light, and ok overall, not the best fruit beer out there, but decent.
2.3 Ironically, from PA, I went to fla to finds this beer. Decent somewhat artificial raspberry aroma. Not as sweet as I would like it to be tho the raspberry makes it tolerable; I like anything raspberry - especially lindermans framboiuse. Look is fairly like any ubiquitous ale or lager. Had these fruit sea dogs beforeq; you know apricot & blueberry and they are all about the same in manner. Finish is average fruit beer experience but not fru-fru-fruity fer sure, or I would like it.
2.5 12 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Pembroke Pines, FL at $7.99/6-pack. Not good.
3.1 Pours a deep gold. Nose is quite intense with fresh raspberries, tartness, and some light bready or grainy like malts with some sweetness. Flavor is fresh raspberries and pale tart flavors and come off with some bready sweetness and light soapiness in the finish. Light body and light carbonation and dry. This one isn’t really my style but quite drinkable and refreshing on a warm May evening.
3.5 Originally reviewed: 5/11/10. Poured into a weizen glass. Pours a crystal clear gold. There’s very little carbonation rising throughout. Inch-sized white head rests on top. Some light lace sticks to the glass. Scents of tart raspberries, jam, light corn adjunct scent. The fruit smells cheap and artificial. The body is crisp and refreshing. Flavors of tart raspberries right away. These taste fresh and less artificial. Very low bitterness. This one is all about the fruit. Light buttery flavor on the backend. Wheat is absent in the flavor. This is extremely refreshing. I actually really like this one. I could see this becoming regular this summer. My wife would love this one. Not bad at all.
2.1 Had a thick head when poured and immediately disappeared. Smells lightly of raspberry. Tastes light watered down fruit juice.
3.2 Bottle. Clear golden color, small off white edge head. Aroma of fresh fruit and a bit of lemon. Taste is sweet and bubbly and easy to drink. Slight bitter finish.
3.4 Bottled. Great raspberry aroma lightly carbonated. Smooth raspberry flavor. An easy drink.
1.6 Exactly like the blueberry wheat ale, only this one is raspberry. So if you have to pick between either one, pick the one with the fruit flavor you prefer.
2.0 12oz bottle. Totally clear light orange color, very little bubble white head. Sharp carbonation. Nice tart sweet taste, but it’s very light. Not much aroma, wheat and a sugary, kind of sticky raspberry flavor. Not my thing.. Not even drinkable
