4.3 Very, very light. Easy to drink; not as sharp as I expected- but nice overall drink.
2.2 Tap at British Beer Company, Portsmouth. Colour is clear dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Sweetness, sugary sweetness, berries and malts. Quite artificial flavors.
2.7 Pours a light copper from a tap. Blueberry wafted toward me as soon as it was set down in front of me. There's also a bunch of blueberries the bartender threw in there. Blueberry and wheat flavor is somewhat like a scone or pie, not bad. Thin and lightly sour finish takes me out of it a bit though. Okay beer.
3.1 From Jul 2007 Purchased at Wilbur's Liquors in Ft Collins as part of a mixed 6 Pack. Pours from 12oz bottle(best by 09 07) a clear gold with a good head of foam that shrinks but remains for the entire session hugging the edge of the glass and the lacing is quite good. The smell, which hit me immediately upon opening, is blueberry to the max and I *love* blueberries. If the taste is anything like the nose, I'm in for a treat. The taste on first sip has a nice semi sweet blueberry flavour that nicely compliments the flavour of wheat. I'm also getting some earthy notes and the finish ends up a bit on the watery side. Not bad but I was hoping for a more pronounced blueberry flavour. I wish there was such a thing as a Blueberry Lambic but I'd buy this again.
3.6 Taste: refreshing wild blueberry, slight sweet, wheat, smooth finish. Same with the nose. Gold, clear, with a smaller head and lace in taster glass. Medium body. Not that artificial Blueberry extract some use.
3.6 Slightly hazy light amber color with a soapy white head of foam. Intense sweet blueberries on the aroma. Very quenching on the palate with some mild sweetness from the base malt. A more diffused blueberry arrives at the center and finishes with a faint sourness.
4.1 Friends love this beer. Top notch for a flavored beer. I find it a tiny bit sweet.
4.3 Fruity but not too sweet! Great summer beer
2.5 Sample 1/4 at Yard House, Las Vegas. Pours clear golden, virtually no head. The aroma contains citrus, malt, blueberry, flowers, light herbs and a bit of bubblegum. It tastes medium berry-like sweet and light sour with a light tart finish. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Some doubts about the aroma, bordering on artificial.
4.4 beautiful, smells great, tastes amazing..but if you don’t like blueberries then obviously don’t drink this one. Have it on draft in a glass that emphasizes the smells. Hard to describe, but i love it. has almost a buttery smooth finish that makes me think of a fresh blueberry muffin.....just like grandma used to make. try it. you’ll like it,
3.1 On draft at Westover Market. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aroma of blueberry. Flavors of berries and cream. Somewhat sweet but decent.
5.0 I drank it for the first time the label caught my eye the smell was delicious and the taste was delicious itwill purchase it again.
3.6 Draft?. Gold in color with a strong blueberry aroma and taste. Sweet taste with a smooth finish.
3.4 Dunkles gelb schwacher schaum, leicht Blaubeeren im geruch dazu etwas malz und leichte würze, im Geschmack dann kräftig Blaubeeren dazu etwas säure etwas malz einigermaßen herber Abgang
2.8 12 oz bottle pours golden quick fading whit head aroma bread and slight blueberry taste is hint of bluberries with sour yeast
3.1 (Tap) clear, bright golden colour with a small white head; aroma of blueberries, then hint of roast; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish
2.2 Draft. Pale clear yellow body, small white head. The aroma is very artificial and sweet, but it has a hint of tartness. The taste is like bubblegum. Overall not bad, but way too artificial.
3.7 On tap at Yard House. This is a very tasty beer, the blueberry is present but subtle, I could drink a whole lot of these very refreshing babies.
3.6 Assuming this is no longer a wheat beer, it pours a clear yellow/copper. Aroma is all blueberry. Flavor is a bit soda-like and blueberry flavored. This is drinkable but not great.
3.0 12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of blueberries and yeast.
2.0 On tap at World of Beer (Charlottesville, VA). Heavy blueberry aromas, funky bread. Clear burnished gold with a mostly fading white head. Actually pretty dry, some funky yeasty notes, blueberry. Light-medium bodied.
3.5 appearance: very light yellow, slightly hazy, creamy white head, active carb (which may be from the bed of blueberries it was served on--according to the server this is standard). aroma: sweet blueberry nose, hint of lemon. taste: sweet blueberries, pie crust, lemongrass. finish: very slight sour wheat note to balance a bit of grass and lasting blueberry sweetness. notes: Look, it’s exactly what it says it is. Blueberry notes are of course prominent, and I guess I’m a bit of a mark for the creative way it’s served, even if the blueberries in the glass serve to jump up the character of the beer a bit. Palate is nice and refreshing. Draught at World of Beer in Rockville.
2.8 Rating #1838 - 2015.07.20 - Beer Rev Fruit Fest - Draught - Clear, pale yellow pour. Aroma is mild blueberries and barley/grains. Taste is blueberry jam, extremely sweet. Finish is that of a standard pale lager, nothing extravagant, but smooth enough to keep you drinking. Not the best fruit beer, but drinkable if thirst is an issue.
3.3 Bottle, pours light amber with small white head. Smelled blueberry as soon as I popped the top. Lots of sweet blueberry taste combined with your basic wheat beer. Actually wasn't to bad.
2.9 Bottle at Redwood, Bethesda. Dark body with no head. Nose is floral and spicy. Taste also fruity and spicy. Sweet and punchy in the finish.
2.5 Bottle from Ferris - pours yellow - nose/taste of faux blueberry and old wheat - light body
3.4 This is a good beer to drink while sitting in the sun for a while, but it’s a little too sweet. At a certain point, it tastes less like beer and more like a carbonated fruit drink. Not bad, but there are better blueberry beers out there.
3.0 12oz bottle into a Corsendonk badged tulip on 23rd May 2016, while on holiday in California. Golden pour with a full white head. Blueberry aroma and taste on a wheat base, different and refreshing in the afternoon sun.
2.1 This blueberry-infused Wheat Ale has a nice yellow pour. Aroma has a lot of blueberry and crackery wheat malt. Flavor has, you guessed it, blueberry. There’s also a weird graininess and creaminess from the wheat. Lots of carbonation. Nope. Not my thing.
2.8 It sure is a beautiful pour. Aroma leads you to believe the taste will come close to popping a fresh blueberry between your teeth. The flavor is actually there but almost as an after thought...subtle. the foam dies nearly immediately after pour and it seems all carbonation disappears along with it...the result makes a nice glass of beer appear to be the allusion of a glass of wine...no lacing nor any other trace of a foamy head ever existing...trying to figure out if I really taste the berries or if it’s just the scent fooling me.
