3.1Flasa. Zlata farba, biela pena. Vona sladova, mierne karamel, citrus. Chut sladova, susienky, citrus. Mierne karamel.
4.0Very aromatic. Great aftertaste, rich, quite light. An excellent beer by Septem.
3.7330ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is malt, tangerines, spices, resin. Taste is malt, honey, zesty hops. Medium bitter finish. Another good one by Septem.
3.731st March 2019, bottle while waiting for a Greek take away in a restaurant near my daughters home in Laguna Hills, California. Really pleased to pick up a Greek rate, the food was good too! White head on the golden body, clean and clear. Citrus hop notes in both the aroma and taste, a decent malty base keeps the citrus flavour in check and give a semblance of balance to the brew; nice.
3.5Bottle in Crete, April 2018. Pure West Coast nose of sunburnt pine, cedar, resin, peach iced tea, honey and lemon lozenge. Fresh hops again. Steady beading dull gold dabbed with lace. Orange rind, pine, Jaffa, honeyed grapefruit taste with limited malt interference; barely a sliver of pale nut, pine kernel, Austrian smoked respectively. Another tasty, intelligently made, fresh-hopped beer from these boys. So happy GK is finally a place worth taking a beer and good beer is (relatively) widely available, even if I had to run 6 miles to procure this one, and a clutch of others. It was worth it.
3.5Bottle from supermarket near Larissa station, Athens. A pretty decent low abv pale ale with meaty old hops. Strong bitterness.
3.3Draft at Beer time, Athens, Greece. Pours slightly amber gold, hazy, with fine white foam. Aroma is sweet citrus. Body is just slightly dense with average carbonation. Taste is marginally sweet in the entrance, with marked bitterness all along afterwards. Finish is long with persistent bitterness.
3.2Bevuta il 13/12/2018 @DiWineFineDiningBistrot in Grignasco (NO). Bottiglia da 33cl. Colore ambrato chiaro. Schiuma bianca pannosa e mediamente persistente. Al naso sentori floreali e fruttati. In bocca è secca, sentori fruttati, uva spina e cereali, con buona componente maltata. Finale molto secco e lievemente amarognolo. Nulla di eccezionale.
3.4Bottle at Rooftopbar in Athens (7€!) - very nice APA with all the ingredients you need. with the view of the acropolis maybe even worth the money...
3.8Clear golden body with a medium-sized, thick and persistent white head. Aroma is malty, grainy and grassy. Nice floreal hoppy notes as well. Taste is malty, grainy again. Hints of honey, faint caramel and a pinch of grassy, piney and zesty hoppy notes. Dry medium finish. Medium body, average carbonation, thin texture.
4.0En fin øl med en masse noter Fmaf citrus fra humlen. Ellers en dejlig nydeøl.
2.8Beautiful, continuous and creamy foam. The aroma is grapefruit, sweet malt and fresh grains. The taste carries a little touch of biscuits, light caramel malt and the aftertaste is mostlygrape. The hops bitterness has a little fruity taste of overmatured pear, mango and a little spice. It's a pale ale that's quite brilliant, but not stored in memory among the best PA's I've tasted.
3.3W sumie najlepsza rzecz, jaką udało mi się znaleźć w Grecji. Smak lekko owocowy, niska goryczka.
3.2Lekkie w smaku i aromacie, lekko owocowe, delikatna goryczka. W sumie najlepsza rzecz, jaką udało mi się znaleźć w Grecji.
3.1Bottle ordered online from Maltby & Greek. Dark gold, slightly hazy with a thin white head. Lovely little aroma, lots of white grape, biscuity malt and sweet toffee. Taste is pretty bland unfortunately: sweet and fruity with a somewhat acrid bitterness that starts out light but grows to prominence in the finish. A bit soapy on the tongue as well. Drinkable but a little disappointing.
3.4Geproefd op 14 aug. 2018, tijdens Int. Bierfestival Zwevegem.
Dank aan de brouwer voor 2 extra proeverkes.
Lichtwazig (goud)blond met een witte kraag.
Aroma: bloemig, citrusfruitig, groene hop, beetje moutig. Medium body.
Smaak: zoetje, moutig, fruitig, licht bitter.
Niet slecht.
3.4Bottle. Golden color, close to clear, good white foam. Aroma: thin, flowery, light fruits, light citrus, a little spicy, cake. Taste: light, citrus, slightly tropical fruits, mango, pear, a little spicy and herbaceous, soft hop bitterness.
3.4I had this while on vacation on the Greek isles. Of all the couple dozen Greek beers I tried, Septem. of which I tried several, made the best beers by far. Small bottle pours slightly hazy golden amber with virtually no head nor lacing. Aroma: caramel, some pine. Flavor: butterscotch, malt vinegar, pine, tobacco. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied.
3.3330ml bottle, white steady head golden color, aromas of pine fruit citrus-like, pretty dry, good carbonation
3.3Flöska. Nice clear golden color with a big steady indeed white head, well lasting, leaving a good lacing. Aroma: Fruity, malty some citrus. Good palate. Flavour: Sweet like, fruity hoppy, malty, mild bitterness. Nice and quaffable.
3.0Bottle at Brika Cafe - honey malt driven like an English style PA - some floral/fruity hop but not much - decent enough but didn’t excite.
3.1Draft at Kingfisher Cafe. Clear golden color thick white head good retention. Scant aroma. Taste is lightly bitter straw
3.6Draught, 500 ml @ The Old Fishing Shack, CY. New beer on tap, so i had to taste it. Unclear light copper with a peachy shade. On the nose on blind i would say it's IPA immediately. But somehow the colour doesn't match. Same aromas i had from certain IPAs recently: grapefruit, peach, orange peel. The palate is rich and full, high IBU (possibly around 40). I've learned today that if u hear 'pale ale' in English means darker shade of beer (even the word 'pale' means light). So u have to expect a darker colour, it was deep amber, light copper, intensive aromas of IPA, i was very confused on this one. The aftertaste is really long, great bitterness and mouthfully fruityness. Nice one again from Septem.
3.8Fles 33cl thuis. Droog, fruitig, hopbitters, ergens zuurtje, hop (Saaz, Nelson Sauvin). (9-2017).
3.2Clear golden color with rich foam. Light malt and fruity aromas. Taste follows with a nice bitter aftertaste. Light carbonation and body. Overall pleasant to drink.
3.1On tap at Zythos - Ladadika, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney, floral hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with subdued piney, floral hops, and a dry biscuity malt base. Decently balanced, with a floral, dry finish. It’s okay.
3.5330ml bottle at home. Unclear orange-amber color with a frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy , citrusy and fruity. Sweet taste with bitter finish. Flavor is similar to the aroma. Medium body and soft carbonation.
2.9Solid white head and a brown body, density could be slightly better. Sharp aroma of grapefruit and peach, some grain, nice to smell something after all those nondescript Greek lagers. Flavour is soft and muddy with the grain and hops not working well together. Could use more definition and finesse.
3.7Pale blonde and a bit golden color, medium, fruits and citrus aroma, malty notes, medium bitter at the end. Refreshing feeling. Decent ale
