2.5 Głęboko bursztynowe, klarowne z obfitą beżową pianą. W aromacie karmel, biszkopty lekki szampon i gwoździe. Smak słodowy, lekko pusty, metaliczny. Goryczka na niskim poziomie, wysycenie trochę za wysokie.
3.0 Keg at John Scoots, Mölndal. An easy drinking ale that was nice to see on tap again. Mahogany. Slight sweetness. Humble.
4.0 Nice traditional British bitter. Caramels and slightly citrus, but not too much.
3.0 Média. Nada demias
3.3 Old rating from 17-01-15 - 500ml bottle, pours amber/copper with tiny pale head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, oak, toffee, citrus & biscuit malt. Moderate body. Mildly bitter finish
3.2 0,5l bottle from Stonemanor, The British Store near Brussels. F: thin, pale tan, quick gone. C: amber to coppery, clear. A: nice hoppy, spicy, caramel, bready touch. T: medium malty base, caramel, bready, herbal bitterness, bit spicy, soft carbonation, ok for the style with nice balanced bitterness, enjoyed.

4.0 Aromă placută de pîine prăjită și iarbă.Gust amar de hamei, malţ, caramelă şi miere, lămîie.
3.2 Pours dark amber, almost copper, with a small head. Nose shows caramel, golden syrup, bready malt, soft earthy and herbal hops. Flavours include toasty malt, golden syrup, bready malt and soft apple notes.
3.6 500ml colourless glass bottle, served cellar temperature, pint barrel glass. Nice Amber colour, white head, hoppy, malty beery aroma. Slightly toffee biscuity flavour, with a bitter after taste. A good example of a traditional English bitter.
3.1 Bottle, 50 cl @home. Pours an clear amber with a beige thin head. Strong aroma with sweet apples, peach and citrus. Taste is bitter with some dryness, caramel and a metallic off flavour. Medium carbonation og and a watery aftertaste. Wonderful aroma, but the taste is a little disappointing.
2.9 Aroma : Strong medium toasted toffee malt, some honeydew melon & a light earthy hoppy note. Taste : Lightly bitter throughout. Only real flavour of note is the toffee malt. Short hoppy bitter finish. A straightforward solid & above average Ord/Best Bitter
3.1 Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a crystal clear golden ale with a small head and collar. Well balanced and refreshing, but nothing special. Medium bodied and medium carbonation. Would buy again.
3.1 Pretty good, easy to drink, nice balance, sweet th, could have been it was not cold. Serve cold. Wouldn't not drink it because it was not cold which I didn't not do because I did and would again. Need to revisit.
3.2 500ml clear glass bottle. Pours amber with a small off white head. Slight skunky aroma initially which died down. Aside from that nutty toffee caramel and herbal hop on the aroma. Decent mouthfeel and sofa carbonation. Taste is toffee caramel malts a hint of licorice and lemon in the finish. Medium bitterness. Actually not bad, as I thought it would be, this not trying it until now!
3.2 Standard bitter, nothing wrong with that but it not something to blow your socks off, at the same time it’s a perfectly acceptable pint.
3.5 Copperish pour, limited head. Nose is roasted grain and leafy hops. Middle is medium kilned malt, touch wood, marmalade, noble hops. Finish is lightly bitter.
3.5 Bottle from Aldi. Surpisingly haven’t drunk this since before my records began (2013). Has a nice (though not overwhelming) nose of hops and marmalade. Pours a bright copper orange with a foamy transient cream head. Lots of honey and ginger in the taste – there’s malt as well if your tongue can find it ! A dry bitter finish to round things off. Not the world’s most exciting beer, but perfect for my mood at the moent.
3.5 Nice off-white foam on a dark amber pour, lovely earthy hoppy nose with hints of toasted nuts and very slightly of citrus fruit. Bitterness over light malty-sweetness, earthy, dry bitter aftertaste. This is a really nice example of this beer.
3.0 500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s, Epsom. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma of malt caramel. Similar taste. Bitter finish.
3.0 Traditional British bitter. Nicely balanced for a bottled beer and not too dry. Decent but not memorable.
3.5 Surprisingly a more complicated taste than I expected but not quite enough oomph to make it 4 stars, so will have to settle for 3.5. Hints of tea, tastes a bit like John Smith mixed with an IPA, and it's very enjoyable.
2.6 Aromas- Sweet with notes of caramel malts, biscuit malts and light herbal bittering hops. Not overly exciting but not bad. Appearance- Clear copper colour with medium/large off-white foam. Palate- Medium body with smooth thin texture leaving a bitter finish. Taste- Initially sweet of caramel and bread, rather malty then herbal hops come out. Overall- Its okay I guess, rather plaing, lacks depth, or character. Just okay.
2.9 500ml bottle. Pours a chestnut colour with slight white head. Aroma of malt, toast and grass. Taste of sweet malt, toffee and a dry finish. Decent although lacks a bit of depth.
1.9 A bit bitter - but yeah
5.0 One of my all time favourites from mass-produced options. Feels light in the mouth and on the stomach but packs a punch with a strong, full flavour. Tastes a lot stronger than 4.5% bottled. Readily available from supermarkets in the UK.
2.2 Disappointing show from the lads at ‘Britain’s oldest brewery’. 2/5 Messerschmitts. Might be better served warm, but I won’t be buying it again to find out.
3.4 Dry and malty ale.yeast,toffee.pretty smooth.a standard ale,but a bit thin.
