4.0 This is probably the best beer I've had with pumpkin in it. A perfect beverage for the fall. Always reminds me of growing up in Maine too!
3.1 Pours a clear amber with little head. Aroma reminiscent of pumpkin pie. Taste is initially like a wheat beer, gradually fades to the palate. Palate is very similar to pumpkin pie, gradually fades to some light hops influences on the back of the tongue. Drinkable.
3.7 Pumpkin pie spice aroma Leigh amber color. Taste of pumpkin pie spice with a cinnamon finish. Easy drinking.
2.8 Can you say "All-splce"? This could be the most pumpkin-pie-like tasting pumpkin ale that I have tried. The flavor is actually pretty good, just a little overwhelming and sweet by the end. Once you get past the pumpkin pie taste, there is a little hop at the end. Very pale, thin, clear appearance......slight medium orange tint. A refreshing clean beer...but I think I am through with Pumpkins for this season.
3.4 On tap. Golden color with small white head. Smells just like pumpkin pie. Mildly sweet with pie spices and pumpkin. Good.
3.2 This is honestly my first pumpkin beer and it changed my life forever. However. There have become a lot of other and pumpkin beers out there.
3.1 Sample at the brewery taproom. Clear dark golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of pumpkin spice, malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of malt, cinnamon and caramel. The finish is pumpkin spice and malt. Slightly above average overall.
3.8 12 oz can of KBC Pumpkin Ale, bought in NH.. Clear gold color with a white head and great retention. Fair lacing. Good pumpkin pie spice flavors. Clean and smooth. Good.
2.1 Very sweet with warm pumpkin pie spices coming through in a big way. This is not as rich or thick as I wanted. It is more like drinking spiced fruit juice or pumpkin cider.
2.9 Bottles over the years. Pours a clear golden amber with a finger of foam. Nutmeg and cinnamon on the nose with some sweet fall fruit..persimmon. Taste is a little thin, with some synthetic pumpkin and vanilla notes. Sweet finish.
1.7 12oz bottle. Pours gold with a small white head. Aroma is yeast, spice, and fake pumpkin. Taste is the same, but even more unpleasant. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. Absolutely awful.
4.5 I truly enjoyed this beer. The spice palate is a great mixture to create one of the best tasting pumpkin beers Ive ever had. It is low in alcohol content, so i would recommend this for an easygoing night.
2.8 Bottle 50cl, a copper beer with low head. Nose is intense on sugar, ginger notes and spices like cinnamon. Aroma is on spices again ginger and cinnamon, light pepper, body is very low and watery, ok for the fun.
3.5 From a bottle into a North Coast chalice. Pours golden with small head. Aroma of grains, malt, sour grapes, melon rind. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of grains, pale malt, minerals, pumpkin spice, melon juice. Overall flavorful, refreshing, decent.
3.0 Bottle - Sweet cooking spices like pepper and nutmeg. Clear gold with a small white head. Light pumpkin and nutmeg.
3.0 Have had this many times in the fall season, from the can. Light in the mouth but with a nice pumpkin spice flavor. 4.5% alcohol so easy to drink and the flavor does not get overwhelming. F Avey
4.4 I love this beer. Has just the right amount of everything. Good for just one with a meal, or without, to relax at the end of a hard days work. Also good for multiples with friends or at the pub. I LOVE THIS BEER!
2.1 Can - Pours a clear dark gold to amber, white head that thins quickly. Aroma of pumpkin and fruit juice. Flavors of some pumpkin, fruit, spices, very mild hops, and raspberry kool-aid. Not impressed with this particular can. Ran flat.
2.1 Bottle to glass - pours light gold, just a flash of head. Aroma is standard fall potpourri, nothing adventurous. Taste is squash and pumpkin with an unwelcome adjunct tinge. Not very good.
2.9 Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is pumpkin and spices. The flavor is pumpkin and some mild spice and hop
2.5 I drank a 1 oz sample of this brew under the KBC Pumpkin Ale alias at Trader Joe’s. Golden orange pour. Mostly spicy aroma with some gourd. Pumpkin taste is actually pretty light, the autumnal spices are highlighted more. Definitely some pumpkin pie characteristics. Average carbonation and texture. As far as seasonal offerings of this variety go, this is what you would expect - no more, no less.
3.1 Light golden pour. More spice notes than flavor here. Lots more herbal notes than pumpkin notes in the nose and palate. Carbonated finish.
3.6 Aroma: pumpkin pie spice, bread, Appearance: hazy golden Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness, Palate: light body, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish,
2.9 Pours a light golden amber with almost no head. Light pumpkin spice aromas. Flavor is sweet spicy with a little bitterness on the tail.
3.1 12 ounce bottle to wine glass Appearance: Deep amber, very clear, no head, a lot of lacing Aroma: Not a lot of aroma Taste: Not a lot of taste, no follow through Mouthfeel: very fizzy, carbonated Overall: Good beer, but will not repeat buy, nor suggest to be bought
3.3 Poured from a 12 ounce can (cold) into a clear glass tumbler; a thin, faint aroma of autumn spices; cloudy gold and orange coloring’s; super thin head; pumpkin pied and nutmeggish flavors. Overall, s’not at all bad; a pumpkin ale that could be enjoyed at any time, but especially with fall and winter sensibilities.
2.7 Can from Beer and Wine. Pale orange body with slight head. Nose is fruity, floral, zesty. Taste is of fruits, wheat, pumpkin, spices A bit prickly texture. Decent.
3.0 Bottle pours light orange/gold with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet and doughy with lots of baking spice. Cinnamon and nutmeg most present with a touch of clove. Flavor shows the same with a caramel and light pumpkin base. Overall body is light to moderate with a spicy finish.
2.7 Pours a honey golden with a thin white head which is gone in a hurry......aroma of nutmeg, touch of allspice......taste is nutmeg, bit of soggy grain, little bitterness, no pumpkin taste and thin.
2.5 Un assaggio alla spina. Aroma pungente e speziato, zucca, cannella, pepe; gusto dolciastro e poco intenso con note di zucca, malto e poco altro. Acquosa, scipitella, non carbonata.
