2.3 Got this one in a six pack prize at the work Christmas party. The other five beers weren’t much better. Pours a hazy, golden with lots of head. Smells like apple juice and tastes like apple juice with a tart and dry finish.
2.5 Thanks for tick Danny. cinnamon apple. Pretty spritzy and sweet. Not horribleness.
3.1 Bottle. Tick hunting here. Almost clear with a noisy fizzy almost white head that didn’t last long. The aroma is full of the apples and is nice. The apple taste leads and is generally sweet. Soft malts and a little wheat. Light cinnamon. Very light drinking.
1.6 Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color ale with a small bubbly head with limited retention. Aroma of fake apple notes with sweet notes. Taste is also dominated by fake green apple notes with some adjunct notes. Body is light with OK carbonation. Quite terrible with no real wheat notes.
1.5 Didn’t have great expectations... and it confirms my feelings: crap! It pours murky yellowish, aroma of artificial apple gummy. Taste confirms this artificial apple syrup poured into a glass of the most commercial Belgian ale. Malty, sugary, way too sweet. Rubbish is the word!
2.5 bottled - cloudy amber color. Sweet apple flavor. Great refreshingly crisp flavor. Has a tart finish and appley aroma.
3.7 A very crisp beer. I don't really taste any hops though. You have to like a fruit tasting beer to like this.
1.8 part of a pick-a-six. pours a cloudy straw gold with a smallish white head. Aroma is straight up green apple jolly rancher. The taste is the same. Definitely not my style. I’m a beer drinker. Not a fan of sweet hard cider.
2.9 12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy with white head. Aroma of apple cider. Tastes like sweet apple cider, watery.
0.5 If you like sour apple jolly ranchers then this is a beer for you. I honestly think it is the worst beer i’ve ever had.
3.2 Bottle pour. Cloudy golden with a clear white head. Sweet apple aroma. Light smooth body. Very light bitter, but mostly sweet with a decent lasting finish.
3.7 Apple juice, but I liked better than the other apples and hard ciders that I’ve tried. Easy to drink smooth nice apple aroma.
3.1 Bottle on July 2, 2015. Thanks to the Garcia Sisters and Miss Riddick! Hazy golden color, white head. Apple, sweet scent. Malty, sweet, light apple taste. Apple aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low to no bitterness.
3.2 Poured from bottle hazy golden color with a thin white head. Aromas of jolly rancher green apple. Taste is sweet but not cloying. Would be refreshing on a hot day.
3.0 It’s sweet, but it’s good. The taste of apple is pretty overwhelming.. it’s got some bitter fizz at the end, but it’s a great summer beer.
4.2 I think this is a great beer for when you want something not bitter and refreshing. Very clean tasting with no bitter aftertaste. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, average carbonation, light body,
3.0 [ Bottle ][ 12oz ][ Tasting ][ Tasting ][ Teku ][ 3.27.15 ] >> Hazy straw pour, okay foam. Green apple Jolly Rancher nose all the way. Taste is green apple Jolly Rancher, mild tartness, spice, medium sugar. Drinkable, but kids’ candy forward, more a novelty for those that probably aren’t into beer.
1.8 355ml twist off. Hazed gold pour, brewed with cider with honeycrsip apple flavor added? Wtf. Smells like apple candy. Falvor is sweet apple, some rotten apple character, bittersweetness, soapy. Not a good example.
3.1 Poured from a 12OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- You can really smell the apple not much beer aroma Appearance- This is a fairly nice looking murky off yellow color with a small white head Taste - Has a very apple flavored taste with a small beer bite at the end. Not bad for me but many purists will probably not like. Palate- A light bodied beer with moderate to heavy carbonation with a thin texture. Overall - This is an ok beer, I prefer the original version of Shock Top in the Shock Top stable. I would say this is middle of the road.
2.1 12oz can. cloudy yellow half a finger head. smells like jolly rancher apple. straight up sour candies. sour, tart, lots of apple but totally fake candy apple. just bad but I still finished my pour.
1.7 Pours a hazy light amber from a bottle, aroma and flavor is of apples, not overly sweet. Not horrible.
3.5 Very good if you like apples! Tastes and smells just like a honeycrisp apple. Pours a hazy pale yellow.
2.8 This is not a beer at all, I don’t know where is the Wheat or the Belgian yeast. It just taste like Apple juice, and smells like Apple juice.
1.8 12oz bottle. Poured a golden color with a small sized head. Yeah, apples. Nothing to set this apart.
3.5 Can from 7-11 271114. The overpowering aroma and flavour of Apple is unmistakeable. Pours with a large fluffy white head. Good beer for a hot day.
4.0 Very good beer overall. Ideal for a hot day when you crave something to drink with a good flavor. One of my favorites.
3.6 Very nice aroma. Small white head dissipates quickly though. Tart crisp apple taste, followed by alcohol. Overall not too shabby. But it was a bit watery.
3.2 12oz bottle - Highly drinkable, great apple taste. I don’t care who made the beer, it’s good, it’s refreshing and there’s no noticeable flaws with the beer. It’s probably one of the best apple beers available, and gives Shipyard a run for it’s money.
(Rating #5867)
2.3 Bottle from Food Lion. Pours hazy orange with a small white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is big honeycrisp apple juice, ciderish. The taste is basically just a sweeter apple cider. Not bad but not crisp enough for me to enjoy.
