This unique take on the traditional IPA style pairs the bold and intense aromas of whole-cone hop "flowers" with aromatic natural rose hips and petals for complex aromas and unexpected flavors.

4.012 oz served in a Great Divide pint glass.
A - Slightly hazed amber with 2 fingers of eggshell head that slowly melts into a thick cap. Impressive splotchy lacing left behind.
S - Sweet honey, earthy lavender, green stems, caramel malt, doughy yeast.
T - Follows the nose with floral hops, lavender, green spinach stems, spicy peppery bite, green chlorophyll on the back end.
M - Medium lush feel, crisp feel, medium to moderate carbonation.
Lots of green floral going on. A nice change of pace for the style.(My score is based on style).I’m use to tasting old IPA’s but this was refreshing. Not something I would want to kill all night but I could put down a couple of these with a smile on.

3.5Bottle. Light orange with fine colloidal particles that remain in suspension. Aroma is grapefruit and pine, not much in the floral department. Hoppy dry palate, mirroring the nose, more herbal than floral really. I think this would have to be drunk pretty fresh to appreciate any delicate floral aromatics, just guessing. Still a fine IPA though.
3.4Bottle from Slowbeer. A while ago, but I remember liking it. Floral, citrus, spicy hops, very drinkable.
4.2Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A hazy dark golden beer with orange blossom and tropical fruit flavours followed by citrus and pine on the finish.
3.6Nice hoppy IPA. Very floral as the name indicates. good mouthfeel. Kind of onenote but very tasty.
3.6Bottle. Clear with a small head.Hoppy and floral with a lot of bitterness which really takes over, Pleasant but too bitter for my personal taste,
3.3I need to come back to this one as I dont remember rating this one. Concerned with comparing to the other Beer Camp IPA.
3.4Orange amber colour excellent head and lacing. Sweet herbal fruit hop malt aroma. Fresh herbal hop fruit flavor. Smooth palate.
3.012 ounce bottle poured a clear orangish color with aromas of light lepper, some flowers, and some light citrus. Flavors are the same, nothing too imprsive, just meh...
3.4bright light amber color with a rich ivory sheen. Dank, spicy earthy cat spray, sulfer, mild corn syrup aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Hoppy spicy pine, pale malt flavors with rose pedals--good.
3.7355ml bottle from Cotteridge Wines.7th march.Amber coloured pour with smallish white stable head.Floral aroma and taste with some malt and hop to balance things somewhat.Citrus, hoppy bitter aftertaste.Different and quite tasty.
3.8Amber in color, cloudy and a ton of little white pieces floating from top to bottom. Medium cream colored head that sticks to glass. Aroma is strong and very floral. A very dry, floral hop flavor that sticks to your palate.
3.9Pours a hazy golden orange with sediment, big white head and great lacing. Aroma is flowery hops and caramel and bready malts. Taste is bitter floral hops, then a slight delay before the bready malts come around for balance. Eventually they give way to the lasting hop bitterness. The varying aspects of this beer play well together.
3.7Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with white head, floral aroma, taste is like drinking a bouquet of flowers, not really it does have floral hop but it’s quite well balanced with malts.
3.3Happy to get to try this even if it’s nowhere near its peak. Bottle. Nose is surprisingly vibrant with floral hops, pours deep orange with fantastic reddish edges and a billowy off-white head. Taste is dryish (some hop oil sweetness) with medium-strong, scrubbing and rubbery bitterness, but it’s clean, without astringency, and really lasts, nice for what it is. A little more alcohol packed in than the abv marking would indicate, or perhaps it’s just the interaction with the hops, but the booze and strong florality push this into extreme perfumed IIPA range (which I generally tend to find undrinkable). Medium-full body. Even though this particular flavor is not to my taste, there’s still a winning texture/mouthfeel here and and obvious mastery of process.
3.9A nice copper body with nice slightly off-white head that had great retention and nice lace. Aroma upfront had a nice slightly sweet caramel malt presence, but was over-powered by great resinous hop notes and nice floral hops there was some mild grapefruit in the background. Flavor was mildly sweet and great hop profile through out. Grapefruit hops seemed to have a little more flavor than the aroma led me to believe, Nice dry finish.
3.7Appearance was clear orangish gold with creamy off white 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are spicey floral hops with slightly sweet malts, clean yeast profile. Taste are hops upfront with grapefruit, lemon, pine, resin, with sweet caramel, pale malt backbone, no alcohol present. Palate was smooth soft CO2 with meduim body, then hoppy lasting citrusy finish. Good hoppy IPA, little past its prime...
3.4Hazy amber with a creamy tan head. Aroma is floral and grainy with caramel and vegetation. Taste is floral with caramel, sweet malt, semi-vegetal and mild bitterness.
3.4355ml bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. Hazy amber colour lasting light beige head. Yes a floral hop aroma which is very attactive. It’s ok, but quite light in the mouth. Some ok bitterness on the finish. Bit of nettle and almost pee on the aroma. It’s fine. Attactive aroma. But this nettle pee thing is just a bit ughy for me.
3.6Bottle at home, from Nelson Wines, Merton. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium off-white head. The nose is floral, grass, dough, farmyard and a touch of pithy citrus. The taste is hay, strong floral, grass, wood, pithy citrus, light metal and nice hope-bite with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flavoursome, well balanced and very drinkable.
3.1Bottle pour to pint. One of a Beer Camp 12-pack that I enjoyed in deer camp. It says Floral in the name and it is the most flowery beer I can remember. It’s okay, but too floral for my taste.
4.1Pours hazy amber with thin white head. Strong floral hop aroma. Very nice hop flavor with lively mouthfeel and a clean finish. One of the best IPAs I’ve had in a while.
3.8355ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber, with a medium off-white head, which lasts very well and leaves reasonable lacing. Turkish delight, pine resin hops and some caramel malt make up the aroma. There is a touch of rose up front, which is overcome by pine and spice hops, moderated by a rosehip tea flavour. Caramel malt comes into the mid-palate, with rosewater appearing towards the finish. More pine hops appear at the finish, leaving a bitter aftertaste which is tempered by the sweetness of rosewater. This is a very interesting beer. The rosehips and petals are well-integrated, and serve as an excellent counterpoint to the bitterness of the hops. It’s a little strange, but very enjoyable.
4.212 oz bottle pours hazy golden brown. Nice bitterness with good flavor. Highly recommend
3.9355ml bottle of 2012 edition from Bitter Virtue, Southampton. A bright amber pour with a billowing white head; sweet ane enticing aroma, some resinous hops, but also light and floral; rich and full in the mouth with some intense hops that sting and burn, but are also full of flavours - nettles, honey, tropical fruit & turpentine. Certainly a beer to savour and enjoy slowly.
2.9Bottle from the Eastchase Specs. Light pour with a white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, and honey. Taste is grainy, bitter, and lots of flowers.
3.6Bottle: Poured a clear orangey color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some good retention. Aroma of floral hops with light citrus notes is quite enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by nice floral hops notes with very limited bitterness notes and some subtle citrus notes. Malt backbone is quite discreet with a nice light sweet finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice IPA with limited bitterness and good level of hops.
3.9Bottle: pours hazy deep golden, floaties, frothy off white head that mostly fades. Nose- sweet malts, pixie sticks, smarties, mint, floral hops, faint pine. Dug it. On the palate, somewhat creamy, mild bitterness with a fair amount esters as well. Quite sessionable and a pretty good beer. Reminds me of a Mikkeller hop series actually.
4.2From a 355ml bottle (2012 edition) on 9/1/2012. Pours a relatively clear, deep golden with a smallish head. has a lovely, big hoppy aroma with floral, fruit and pine notes. The flavour is bold but not too over the top, with bready and biscuity malt, honey, sweet citrus fruit (mandarin) balanced by a big, dry, lingering grapefruity bitterness, and a slight tart lemon sourness. Full bodied and nicely carbed. Another wonderful IPA from Sierra Nevada.
3.7Bottle. Pours a golden amber with smallish light cream coloured head. Very floral resiny hope aromas. Resiny hops dominate the taste. Medium mouthfeel. Nice beer
