3.4 From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Hazy yellow pour with big lasting head. Lacing. Light aroma of citrus or grass but generally smells clean. Some white bread under that. Light body. Mildly sweet flavor with some lemon or citrus zest at the end. No lingering hop character. Fairly refreshing.
3.6 Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy white head. Muted aroma of citrus and floral hops. Big hop flavors, citrus and tropical fruits, moderate malty and cereal grain backbone. Quite nice.
3.2 Bottle. Pours hazy pale golden, off white head. Floral, citrus, grassy aroma. Light bodied.
3.7 Fruity and fresh smell. Delicious fruity and slightly bitter in taste. Good bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. Good beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
3.6 Pours cloudy golden with low white head Aromas malty and hoppy of citrusy fruits, grass, caramel, hints of bread Taste has notes of bread, citrusy fruits, caramel, grass, some resin
3.4 Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Clear, sparkling yellow with a 2-finger off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of lemony citrus, grass light pineapple and wheat. Taste of lemony citrus, grass, light floral hops, Ivory soap and wheat. Medium/light body and medium carbonation.
3.7 A 12 fl oz bottle with a packaged on date of 10th February 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a lightly hazy golden straw yellow colour with a two finger white head that had good retention and left nice lacing. Aromas were bready, wheaty and pineapple with hints of sweet citrusy mandarin. Tastes of candied pineapple, sweet candy lemon, lots of floralness with some light bitterness on the end. Crisp, dry-ish, medium to light bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Overall easy to drink but a bit too much floral characters for me to fully enjoy.
4.5 Sierra Nevada Golden IPA has a medium-to-thick, slightly off-white, soapy head, a hazy, yellow-gold appearance, with tight bubble streams, some powdery and chunky tan sediment, roiling about, and a bit of glass lacing. Aroma is of strong biscuit and cracker notes, with a background lemony aspect. Flavor is the same, with building bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Sierra Nevada Golden IPA finishes on the dry side. RJT
3.4 355ml bottle. Pours a pale honey/straw gold. Hazy, with Iingering white head. Aroma: citrus, grapefruit, grass, wheat malt. Taste: citrus flavours dominate, but are balanced by the wheat malt. The citrus is not over-bearing. Dry bitterness that lingers on the palate. Moderate carbonation. The back end of this beer is quite dry. Slick texture. Not overly in love with this brew, but it may just not be the freshest of bottles... probably a beer that would be better on tap.
3.7 355ml bottle. Yellowish body with a medium white head. Tropical fruit, some citrus, hint of dough.
3.2 12 oz bottle from Half Time. Pours an unclear yellow, thin had, light, spotty lace. Aroma is light, with grassy and citrus notes. Taste is more pronounced and much more citrusy. Solid mouthfeel. Maybe a little thin, but solid. Not a bad beer, but nothing too exciting.
2.8 This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a typically carbonated body slightly hazy light yellow orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong hoppy aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
3.6 Poured from 12oz brown bottle into tulip glass, a mostly clear light golden amber colour with white foam. Fairly typical APA traits but with an especially nice mouthfeel, light but just a little biscuity and bready, well rounded. Grapefruit, juicy apricots, pine resin, melon, grassy, black pepper, dank weedy. I detected all the traits Summit, Chinook, Crystal, El Dorado, Simcoe rolled into one. Light body, strong carbonation, lingering hoppy aftertaste. Tasty and refreshing.
3.4 Flaske.
3.3 Poured bright gold with a big, foamy head. Floral aroma. Taste is lemon rind, grass.
3.7 Solid IPA that poured a golden color with an ample white head. The head left some decent lacing around the inside of the glass. The nose featured some citrusy hoppiness with a hint of pale wheat malt. The body was on the lighter side with plenty of dry, citrusy and wet hops. There’s just enough wheat malt for balance and flavor. This is a very refreshing and delicious IPA.
3.3 Hazed pale golden color with a fine white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness versus bitterness. Semi dry ending. Mild citric, some pine, mild fruity and herbal flavor. Mild easy drinkable ale. [Bottle from Systembolaget in Sweden]
3.5 Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Almost clear golden yellow pour with white ringed head. Fruity aroma and taste with a nice cross section of citrus and tropical fruits, grapefruit, orange, some lemony hop notes, piney hoppy bitter finish. Refreshing.
3.3 Pours a blonde color, I guess. Looks like a light beer. Very clear, well carbonated. About two fingers marshmallow white head. Good retention, poor lacing. Picturesque.
3.2 Flaska från SB. Spökdisig, blekgul. Gräsig, örtig och torr beska med citruszest, vete och ljus pilsnermalt. Fräsch med lite uppiggande bett i.
2.6 Ljusgul, klar. Doft: lager, rökt gräs, citrus, humle, Smak: besk, lätt, svag citrussaft, rätt vattnig, ingen favorit.
3.6 Bottle. Golden with white head. Aroma of citrus and hint of malt. Medium body, citrus, some malt notes, slight bitter finish
3.4 Draught at Taphouse. Clear golden colored with a small white head. Fruity aroma of hops and pine needles. Fruity flavor of hops and pine needles. Hoppy finish.
3.5 Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, hops, and malt. The flavor is straw, malt, hops, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.
3.7 Into a tulip just on chilled. Misty, pastel yellow body with a fleeting white fluff atop. Piney, resinous nose dripping and oozing with caramelised peaches, kumquats, tangelos, grapefruit and apricot - sticky and naughty; very nice. Clean is an understatement on the palate. This is light, gracious and yet sprightly on the tongue killing the stats of its 50 IBU’s and 6.5%ABV. It drinks like a session ale. So pale in colour it shows in taste. Lovely hit of palest grain, nicely showcasing the wheat malt. Hop-wise it seems restrained yet amplified tingling the tongue with those esters of the aroma. Pale stonefruit and citrus linger long on the palate. Overall it is quite a dry pale ale even as it warms. Drinks far too easily. A nice drop!!! (12fl.Oz, Pkg 06/01/17, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)
3.6 This is a 2017 backlog entry. I may add more details on this beer at a future time.
3.8 Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Big and fluffy white head. Light cloudy solid yellow color. Fresh mild citrus aroma. Dry crisp citrus taste with a balanced bitterness. This is a fine thirst quencher.
3.1 Flaska från SB. Klar, gyllengul kulör med vit skumkrona. Doft av mandarin och tall. Lätt, besk munkänsla. Blaskig smak av tall, citrus och gräs.
