3.612oz can - part of sample back from Cosco. Nice classic imperial IPA - bitter and citrus - solid
3.6Pours a transparent yellow, with an inch of fine, dense foam that leaves some lacing behind. Aroma is hoppy, pine, and a bit malty. Taste is both sweet and malty, and hoppy/piney, with some faint grapefruit.
3.712 oz can 10/24/22 (Binny's Montgomery Mix A Six) 39° in Shaker. Pours a hazy golden with a two finger white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, and malt. Taste of the same with some caramel in the middle. This full-bodied brew has a different taste, but it is awesome. Great brew.

Piney, resinous & bubble gum aroma.

Malt, piney, grapefruit & bubble gum tastes with a a bitter pithy finish.
That's just spot on.
3.5On tap @ The Alameda County Fair. Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Fairly sweet and malt forward with caramel, bread, and a touch of honey. A good amount of citrus like marmalade, grapefruit, and tangerine. Some bitter pine and herbs on the finish as well. Pretty full bodied with moderate carbonation. Okay.
3.4Can from Cascade Club. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, candied citrus fruits, gummy candies, boiled sweets, orange marmalade, bready malt and sticky iced bun. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, juicy, tangy, jammy, loads of tangy orange, gummy bears, boiled sweets, peach iced tea, orange marmalade white bread sandwiches, light toffee, nip of booze, toffee, sappy and oily with a tangy orange finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth to it and not super fresh, but it sure drinks easier than 9%!
3.8(from old notes - 5/21/2022) 12oz can from the local grocer for the first night in the OBX, grilling dogs & burgers. Can date of 4 months ago. Clear copper orange pour with an off-white head. Aroma has citrus, pine, light sweet malts, and some stone fruit. Taste is more strongly pine & grapefruit, with sweet malts. Dank and resinous. Clean, leaning to the slightly sweet side of bittersweet. 14.2

3.412 oz can pours an orange color with a small white head. Aromas of pine, resin, citrus. Full bodied, dank, great imperial IPA
3.8Imperial that borders on a barley wine. Malty sweetness with appropriate offsetting hop bitterness. Good way to close out a weekend.
4.012-ounce can pours clear golden orange with a 1/2" beige head with clingy lacing. Aroma: tangerine, grapefruit, passion fruit. Flavor: caramel, candied tangerine peels, cantaloupe, guava, mango, ruby red grapefruit with honey, pine. Mouthfeel: full-bodied with an oily, resiny finish and a boozy warmth.
3.812 oz can coming from the close by HEB and bearing a born on date of 5/5/22, in the last spot of the session line tonight. A festive little label it has, all purple and gold and Mardi Gras, let’s see if the taste follows along. My New Belgium glass has the honors and it sees a honey gold body completed by a temporary head of white, fine bubbles. A nice scent, more pine than usual these days. The taste, well, pretty all right, like a truce between WC and NE styles. Bit-of-honey sweetness, cedar, bread, tropical, a terpenes influence and earth. All this and 9%. Decent, a pleasant surprise.
3.7Can from Cascade Club. Clear golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon, straw and boiled sweets. Flavour of fresh apricot and orange barley. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and hoppy.
