4.0Pours pale gold in the glass. Nose and taste is mild wheats and hops. I need to re rate this. It probably should be a 3.0 not a 4.0. Rated 3/16/2000
3.4A- Nearly transparent straw yellow body with giant foamy white head. Great head retention and leaves behind plenty of lacing in the glass. Pretty clear for an unfiltered wheat beer.
S- Solid grainy smell of medium potency.
T- light taste of wheat and grain malt with hints of hops. Finish is rather dry leaving nothing on the palate.
P- very thin and somewhat watery. Medium carbonation.
O- Unoffensive summer thats pretty drinkable. Taste is light and mouthfeel is somewhat watery. This beer is very drinkable and somewhat enjoyable but doesn’t have much to offer.

3.2A: The pour is a slightly cloudy light golden orange color with a finger’s worth of white foam which dissipates into a thin layer and leaves a bit of lacing.
S: The nose is somewhat fruity and sweet with some mild hop notes present as well.
T: The flavor has a moderate bitterness with a fruity and citrusy quality that’s refreshing. Overall, though, the flavor is not very intense.
M: The beer has a nice crisp carbonation but the body is a bit thin.
D: Definitely an easy drinking beer, and actually better than most American wheat ales, but still not one I’d look for as a regular beer.

2.4Pours clear pale golden yellow witha frothy white head. Aroma of wheat and pear. Taste is murky wheat and apple. Thin bodied, medium high carbonation. Good move making the Kellerweis which is by far a superior beer.
2.4Not what I was expecting. Pours extremely clear for being ’unfiltered’. Mild in hops, wheat is muted. I have tasted better wheats.
3.235cl bottle at home.
clear yellow, smooth offwhite creamy head.
hoppy and citrus candy and yellow fruity aroma.wheat, faint alc.
flavor is wheat, faint ctrus, faint yellow fuits, not unlike what’s in a belgian blonde, faint spices. the complete flavor profile is not mild or faint, but medium strong. it is a little strange for a weissbier, but it is rather tasty once you get around the strangeness.
2.6Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours a dark hazy golden color. The taste is wet wheat that is a little bitter. Apparently Sierra Nevada has replaced this beer with Kellerweis, which is an excellent choice.
2.6Probably my least favorite of all wheat beers. Not much of a Hefe flavor and overall, kind of a bland beer. Of course, the first wheat beer I ever tried was Erdinger, so it’s a tough act to follow.
3.0Light but good nevertheless; the wheat/yeast is very well balanced against the hops, which I think are Cascade but aren’t too aggressive. Very refreshing, and excellent if you’re not expecting a hefeweizen.
2.9Yellow-orange with a decent head. Fruity and spicy, but there are not many signs of the wheat in there. It is simply too bitter. Instead orange and mandarin dominates as citric notes.
3.1copper with a slight hazy, small white head. standard wheat citrus taste. this would be a good lawn mower, could use more yeast per bottle
3.3Bottle (in NZ). My type of wheat beer - dry, perhaps a little grainy, not much sweetness. Hints of citrus is what is an otherwise wheaty flavour.
3.0Aromas of malt, with a dry dusty hint. Flavor is mostly malt, with a slight bit of fruit flavor.
3.012oz bottle. Golden yellow body with medium size white head. Flavour is malt, wheat, citrus and hops.
3.2bottle, pours light gold, tall white head. Aroma is wheaty with sour peach and cascade hops. Nice solid bitter hop and wheat body with some sour apple and spicing in the finish. Nice.
2.3Pours a clear golden yellow which turns to a nice cloudy yellow/orange when the yeast at the bottom is mixed in. Very decent white head. Aroma is citrusy, honey, grassy, and wheat. Flavor is rather unremarkable and bitter. Very light on the wheat flavor. Finish is long, hoppy and bitter . Nothing exciting going on here, although unique for a "wheat beer."
3.3Cloudy light amber body with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet citrus, yeast, and honey. Smooth and sweet all of the way through. Sweet citrus and honeyed rolls with a very subtle touch of floral hops. A very drinkable wheat that lacks a little spice.
2.7Citric aroma that borders on being metallic. A light, sweet grainy character with a spritzy fruitiness. A bit impure I believe. A creamy head rests on top of a cloudy golden body. The flavour is a bit weakish - balanced to the sweeter side, with a pronounced bready maltiness, doughy yeast and slightly herbal hops. Enjoyable wheat.
3.312oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear, pale orange body until the last bit of yeast is mixed in, clouding the body and deepening the orange color a bit. Foamy, white, inch thick head that dissipates slowly and leaves a light, sticky lacing. Aroma is a lighter wheat, some grassy hops, a bit of a doughy yeast, a light honey, and some zesty lemon. Flavor is solid. Soft wheats up front before a good amount of grassy, funky bitterness comes in. Finishes with a sweet yeast and dough, a light sour citrus, and a touch of honey. Dry with lots of lingering bitterness that lasts for quite awhile. Light bodied with a fizzy carbonation after a smooth mouthful. Overall, a very tasty wheat thanks to the high level of bitterness. Nothing too crazy elsewhere, but I like it nonetheless.
3.412oz bottle. Red Label. Hazy golden yellow, white head. Earthy aroma, slightly musty, nice fruit esters of distant banana. A very nice wheat malt nose. Very bitter flavor, slight tartness, very dry. So bitter and dry that my whole palate constricts. Other flavors consist of dough, barnyard, cheese, and a hint of citrus hops. A unique astringent finish with fizzy carbonation. Not really sure how old this bottle is. It was a marked down 6pk sitting on the floor next to the checkout. Better as it warms. Medium bodied.
3.235.5cl bottle, Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a fluffy, slightly off-white foamy head. Fresh and fruity, slightly zesty hoppy aroma with light wheat-malt in the background. Bitter and slightly sour flavour, light bodied with a sparkling carbonation. Light to moderate wheat-character with yeasty spice and citric hops; dry and citrus-fruity, moderately bitter hoppy and yeasty finish. Likeable. 30.VIII.09
3.012oz bottle from Whole Foods (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy golden yellow with one finger white head that settles quickly. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of wheat, yeast, bread, honey, light floral esters, banana, clove. Flavor is sweet and malty with notes of honey, caramel, wheat, yeast, bread, light spice, some funk. Generally light to medium body with a wheaty finish.
2.6bottle thanks to tizzlejizzle. cloudy gold pour, white head. nose is lemon and wheat. thin on the palate with a lemon flavor that sticks out mostly and finishes wheaty.
2.5Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with white head. Very unremarkable in taste and aroma.
2.4Bottle. Pours cloudy pale with a 2 " creamy white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Bitter taste, light wheat with some fruit. Thin and watery mouthfeel .
2.2Cloudy gold with a decent sized white head. Aroma is of wheat, light skunk and lemon. Taste is of wheat, citrus, and watery.
2.6A fairly bland wheat beer. Nothing at all to say about it really. Refreshing and spritzy, does the job, no off flavours. Wouldn’t bother drinking it again though.
2.7Bottle. Unclear yellow body with amedium white head. Hoppy light wheaty aroma with some citrus. Flavour is bitter and light wheaty with some fruit notes. Bit thin body. Easy to drink but a bit dull.
