Sierra Nevada Wild Little Thing

This slightly sour Wild Little Thing has just the right smack of tartness for serious refreshment, while guava, hibiscus and strawberry lend fruity-sweet depth and a bright pop of color.

3.1 Draft at Shan: pinkish body pink head. Aroma is hibiscus with a little bit of fruity. Lightly sour. Floral and strawberry. Easy drinking and inoffensive.
3.5 Purchased at Costco as part of a mixed pack shared at a birthday party. Kind of a red brown body with a dissipating white head. 12 oz can. Strong scents of strawberry and grapefruit. Slightly to start, a little thin flavor profile. A good refresher on a hot day. I think it works even though it doesn't seem to have a typical beer flavor. Aroma is almost better than the flavor.
3.5 Canned. A reddish coloured beer with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of strawberry, hibiscus, guava, spice, tartness and with a mild sourness.
3.8 (from old notes - 5/23/2022) 12oz can(s) from the local grocer in OBX, shared with PracticPlastic. Can date of 4 months ago. Ruby pour. Aroma has berries, herbs and light sour. Taste follows, and can be talked into guava melding in. Not deep, but a very nice summer brew. Fruity finish. 14.1
3.3 8/12/2020: Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clear hibiscus pink color with a bit of rose colored foam that dissipates. Faint aromas of guava, mineral and berry notes. Dry on the palate with floral and light herbal bitterness with a touch of guava skin and berry skin. Lingering wild strawberry but very light on the flavors. Good carbonation....crisp, clean and refreshing but not particularly distinct.
2.9 Can: Hazy, pinkish-golden, mid-sized and rather quickly collapsing white creamy head, mild to moderate sweetish-sourish aroma of unexpected strawberries and an illusion of watermelons; mild sorish-sweetish flavour, low bitterness, light bodied; shorter sweetish-fruity finish with a delicately increasing acidity in the aftertaste. Strawberry Fields Forever…
3.5 Plechovka zo 100 pív. Vôňa jahodová. Farba červená. Chuť kyslasta jahodová.
2.8 12 oz can. Pours a rosy pink with a small light pinkish white head. Aroma of strawberries and fruit punch. Taste of strawberries and fruit punch. Mildly tart with a hint of acidity. Tastes more like a seltzer.
3.2 Dåse. Rød ovre i lys øl med stort let skumhoved. Duften er bær, let kirsebær men ikke modne lækre. Mere ovre i let syntetisk. Smagen er fin nok, let syrlig.
3.4 12 ounce can at Copley Winking Lizard. Smell the strawberries. Pink in color. Lightly sour and taste the strawberry and other fruit. Light bodied and easy drinking. Fruit aftertaste and not very tart. Nice summer thing. Cheers!
3.2 Appearance: Cloudy orange to red with a small fizzy off-white head of low retention. Aroma and taste: Hibiscus, guava, further strawberry, slightly lactic. Light sour. Tart ending Mouth feel: medium plus body, sodt to average carbonation. Overall: Easy stuff. Nothing bothering.
2.6 355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Nearly clear pink to red colour, moderate but shortlived off-white to pink head. Aroma of guava, hibiscus and strawberries. Thin moutheel. Flavour with the same elements as the aroma, but not very sweet nor sour, hardly any bitterness. Drinkable, but boring and uninteresting.
3.3 Draught at Skaal. Clear red coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of red berries and exotic fruits. Fruity flavour of red berries with notes of exotic fruits. Fruity finish.
2.0 Can. Clear ruby, off-white head. Dominant strawberry, candy, red licorice. Sweet, low bitterness. Not sour. Disappointing.
3.4 355 ml can picked up at a Føtex supermarket. Clear, deep red colour with a creamy light pink head. Tart fruity aroma with exotic fruits, lemons, grasses and red berries. Taste is light sour. Medium body. Slightly drying tart fruity finish. Neat little drinker.
3.0 Can, 5.5%. Raspberry soft drink aroma. Hazy pale red colour. Small unstable pink head. The flavour is fruity and watery with raspberry pop notes. Low bitterness. Dry finish, but not a very sour beer.
2.2 Can. Pours clear bright pinkish red with airy pinkish head. Clear aroma of berries, lozenges and yeast - honestly, it resembles RedBull. Sweetish flavour of jam, with estery touches and dry notes of unripe berries. Dusty and acidic aftertaste with jammy hints. Highly unusual, I should say. Not that it means good.
2.0 Can.Clear red colour with no head.Aroma of raspberry soda and water light body and watery thin and synthetic taste note my cup of tea.
3.0 Can from Føtex @ Home. Pours clear dark copper with fading white head. Aroma of light malt, sweet fruit, loads of strawberry. Flavor is sweet, light malty, sweet fruit, strawberry. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish. 190622
3.5 Velsmagende sur øl. Aligevel er jeg lidt skuffet. Tilpas bitterhed og god aroma,
3.3 Mild tartness, has a good hibiscus colour and taste. Decent. Another conference freebie.
3.6 12 oz can. Pours a red amber with a white head. Strawberry, raspberry, candylike aroma. Flavors of strawberry, lemon, raspberry, grape, with a tart finish. Pretty good.
1.1 the smell is strange. The taste is even stranger. Very gaseous. There is nothing to do with beer here.
3.1 Copenhagen 20/5 2022. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Red can with an exploding yellow sphere showcasing the name of the beer. Pours unclear pink-ish red with a small white head. Very bubbly. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity, lemonade-ish odor. Sweet wheat malts, white sugar and floral rose bushes. Hints of citrus fruit. Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit thin and sourish. Finish is watery. Not a very wild little thing but a bit watery and sweetish.
3.2 It pours salmon pink with a light pink head. It has very good head retention. It has strawberry aromas with a slight sourness to it. It has strawberry flavors with some berries and mild tartness. It is actually quite sweet overall. It has a medium light body. Overall, it certainly has strawberry flavors with tartness but nothing else.
2.6 The aroma is sweet and sour with a light strawberry scent. The appearance is dark pink with a large pink head. The taste is like the aroma with berry tartness on the finish. The palate is a bit thin but well carbonated. Overall not bad but nothing special, it's more of a novelty beer to me.
2.8 12 oz can pours a clear pinkish red with a small pink head that vanishes quickly without any lacing. Aroma is strawberry Kool-Aid and watermelon hard candy with a bit of guava. Taste is slightly sweet, despite the can's label. Body is light to medium with lively carbonation. Not terrible, but I expected better than an alcopop from Sierra Nevada.
3.5 Mild sour on balance / if you’re looking for a sour this is more balanced version and truly an ale with sour influence and not overwhelming. Good for those not seeking to sip and squint.
3.2 3/20/22 - Maumelle, AR - Lake Liquor - 12 oz can. Pours a sparkling ruby red, faint trace of a pinkish head. Strawberry Kool-Ade aroma, somewhat faint. Sweet flavor, some strawberry accents, not a sour as expected. Some coriander mintiness. Mouthfeel has a decent spritz to it.
