Bottle 33cl. Black, oily with a lightbrown head. Roasted, chocolate aroma. Light bittersweet, warm soft chocolate ending.
330ml bottle, black color, with a small bubbly tan head, with a mild chocolate, roasted, black, caramel, toasted malty nose, with a faint black coffee, light burnt dark dried fruit, molasses, mocha accent, and a light semi sweet chocolate baking bar, faint cocoa powder, subtle spicy licorice note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a fruity yeasty, molasses, sweet roasted, chocolate, black, toasted, caramel malty character , with some mochaish, cocoa powder, subtle spicy licorice, mild coffee, burnt bran muffin, burnt toast, burnt fruitcake, light burnt dark dried fruit flavours, leading towards a warming sweet roasted, black, chocolate, toasted, caramelized maltiness finish.

Black with low tan head. Roast, coffee, cocoa, Just a touch of sweetness. Medium+ body. Nice porter.
Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Sweet vanillaish roast aroma. Rich, malty body, again loads of vanilla. Very smooth and pleasant. 270315
330ml bottle from Systembolaget Kiruna, provided by djoeye. Finger-thick tan-coloured head reduced to a naked surface. Spotty lacework. Pitch black body. Roasted malts and grainy chocolate on the nose. Well blended taste of chocolate, liquorice, figs, and vanilla. Long-lived roasted ending with dark fruity hints. Hidden alcohol. Fits the season nicely (Tromsø 13.02.2015).
Too bad this poured without much head, pure black. Strong aroma of caramel and slight nuttiness. Flavor is similar to aroma, roasted flavor, bitter with good rich full bodied mouth feel. Slightly chocolaty, no alcohol bite, but warms you up nicely. Great!
Dark brown, almoust black beer. One finger high, beigebrown head.
Nose: Licorice, dark chocolate, dark syrup, molasses, brown sugar and burned malt.
Taste: Vanilla, dark chocolate, dark syrup, roasted malt and coffe.
Body: Medium to full body with light carbonation. Very well hidden alcohol (ABV: 8%).
Dry aftertaste with a little bit of bitterness combined with a great sweetnes of the malt - GREAT!

330 ml bottle. Clear dark brown with tanned head. Smell is sweet malty with roasted tones, sweet dried fruit, melasses, candi sugar and coffee. Taste is sweet malty with fruit and Finnish malt "memma". Sweet with low bitterness and medium carbonation.
Dense brown color small head, gold-cognac highlights. Aroma and taste of dark toasty bread and dark dried fruits, suspended with a good herbal dryness of leafy hops. Mineral, caramel. Warm alcohol is tucked well in the assertive but rounded palate. Swedish magic, want to swim in an icy lake and be vampire bait.
Poured from bottle, deep dark brown with very low beige head. Aroma murky with notes of dried fruit, dark bread, dates and herbs. Taste is compelx and sweet but with some bitterness. Very nice and enjoyable!
Flaske 330ml fra Systembolaget, Kiruna. Drukket i Skibotn 25 Des 14. Svart. Nesten ikke skum. Det lille som er har litt farge, God fruktig aroma. Mest plommer. Sherryaktig. Smaken rikt fruktig. Sherrypreget sitter i. Plommer, aprikos og mørke druer. Innholdsrik & god. Et skikkelig koseøl.
Average all around. No head at all. Really low carbonation. Not lively at all.
[6830-20140930] 330mL bottle. Roasted figs and toasted woody bread crusts aroma. Black body with a medium-lasting foamy tan head. Roasted figgy plum flavour has a nice soft boozy finish. Medium-full body. Good, the alcohol kind of sneaks around but it seems easy to drink at first. (8/3/8/4/15) 3.8
33 cl systembolaget. Väldigt bränd Smak lite rökig Whiskey över denna. Men ändå helt Drickbar.
Pitch black and white brown head. Nose is dark fruit, liquorice and quite some booze. Taste is smooth with notes of salty liquorice and booze. Bitter aftertaste. Medium body, low carbonation.
Oddly enough I find everything about this beer seems subtle, but again, quite strong. The dark roasted malts, notes bitter cocoa powder, and soy, are soft but very upfront. Silky mouth feel, soft carb. Intense dark roasty finish, with a subtle dark fruitiness.
Black fluid with short tan head. Dense aromas of cocoa, coffee and a hint of licorice. Heavy thick fluid, slightly roasted with somewhat sweet notes. Coffee, chocolate and smoked charcuteries. Very nice!
Bottle. Pours an opaque colour, with about a finger of creamy khaki head, layers of lacing. Smells awesome, boozy, sweet malt, licorice, maybe a touch of bourbon. Tastes sweet, malty, coffee, bitter. Good stuff.

Kolsvart med noll skum. Luktar bränd kola med lakrits på toppen. Smaken bred maltsötma och bränd karamell. Eftersmaken lång, lite syrlig, mkt choklad och lakrits. Ingen kolsyra alls.
Liqueur à l’apparence de charbon liquide, à la mousse rare mais à l’olfactif qui compense largement pour un visuel tranquille : chocolat, boisé, alcool et épices se succèdent. La bouche est copieuse, assez mince pour se qualifier avec succès comme un porter impérial et non un stout, mais complexe (cacao, vin rouge, houblons en finale) et pas inutilement lourd (épices bien retenues, alcool discret). Plus simple que prévu, et ça lui va bien ; excellent breuvage hivernal.

Overwhelmingly nice porter. So smooth with the palate of sweet ’but not much’ fragrances: coffee, medium-dark chocolate. Nice company.

Bottle. An unclear, dark brown beer with a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. Roasted, chocolatey aroma, nice but a bit simple. Some piney hops blending in. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, caramel, citrus and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, coffee, licorice and chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Svart öl med brunt skum. Doft: rostad malt, choklad, kaffe och lakrits. Smak i samma bana med hintar av frukt. Smakrik god öl där alkoholen är väl dold för att vara 8%. Tycker styrkan är riktigt passande. Flaska från Systembolaget.
Nice and smooth. Sweetness and liqourice in background. No foam. Short in taste.
