2.9 Hazy golden yellow from the bottle. Yeasty aroma and flavor, light pepper and spices, lots of hay and wheat, and a little gassy.
3.5 Appearance is golden, with a big clingy pillowy head. Aroma is wheat, banana, spices, orange peel, Taste is hop bitterness, juicy fruit, hint of spices and coriander, wheaty malt. Slightly creamy.
1.5 Biere belge blanche, fade et legerement acide, amertume zero
Proefglas
2.7 Aroma 5. Appearance 3. Taste 5. Palate 3. Overall 11. Orange zest, yeast, and spices aroma. White bread and coriander taste.
2.1 Fris, niet heel bijzondere smaak, nasmaak is niet lekker
3.3 Aroma: pear, touch of citrus & honey Appearance: hazy yellow pear colour, small head, sudsy lacing Flavour: lightly hoppy with pear & clove giving way to lemon Palate: finishes clear with a hint of pear.. a little soapy texture
3.4 Silly’s standard witbier, with egg-white, creamy, papery lacing, medium thick yet slowly middle-dissolving head and misty apricot blonde robe with pale orangey tinge. Aroma of bread crumbs, dried lemon zest, green pear, dusty and soapy coriander seed, cold pasta, wet cloth, cooked potato, banana peel, old jute rope. Fruity onset, banana ester mixed with apricot- and pear-like accents, sweetish with minerally, prickly carbonation yet acceptable for this style; smooth, soapy wheatiness with a ‘dim’ sourish edge, pleasantly bready, spiced in the end by clear coriander seed as the style prescribes (and, strangely, less obnoxiously so than in the tripel Swaf I had before this one); a quite ‘bright’ lemon peel-tinged curaçao ‘fraîcheur’ pops up as well, making the finish a bit ‘zingy’ and tangy and in that sense very refreshing. Quenching, very elegant example of the style, classic and old school alright, but – for me – above average within that specific segment.
2.7 Cloudy yellow. Moderate white head. Nose: white bread, spices, light phenolic hints, citrus fruit. Light body. Taste: sweetish, fruity, spicy, lightly phenolic. Not my kind of witbier.
3.5 250ml bottle from Ole supermarket, Xiamen as White Killer, I guess this is it. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast with orange and spice. Sweet taste and finish. Enjoyable.
5% alcohol.
2.9 Huge thanks to Erzengel for that 25cl bottle. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice small head. Malty-moldy aroma. Starts malty-fruity. Notes of some ripe fruits, apple, some pear. Finish more and more moldy. Okay.
3.0 .3l bottle at home, refreshing witbier. Smell and taste are vapid though. Nothing special going on here.
2.7 Smell - weak, some caramel, barely noticeable. maybe some fruits. Foam - not creamy, some carbonation, quite thin, bit watery, but not really, soft. Some bitterness in background but barely noticeable. Taste - dont like it, some weak bitterness, some fruit tones, but something off with them, drinkable a bit, but would not recommend.
3.0 Lovely aroma with some floral aspect, citrus, some spices. Light sweet with light tartness. Refreshing, but too watery
2.7 On tap at Easy Beer, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of perfumey, floral notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour follows accordingly, with floral notes and soft biscuity notes. Rather cheap and underwhelming. Disappointing.
3.2 F: thin, white, not long lasting. C: blonde, hazy. A: fruity, coriander, honey, floral, yeasty. T: light coriander, bit orange peels, floral, simple, easy drinkable, good, light body, medium carbonation, 25cl bottle from Rob The Gourmets' Market in Brussels.
1.9 Bottle from de Bier Tempel, Brussels. Big and semi lasting white head. cloudy pale yellow color. The aroma has both maltiness, citrus and an unplesent aged spicyness. Mild citrus taste with tired hops. A litle sweet for a witt bier and not as crisp and fresh as I like them to be.
3.3 Pale golden hazy with medium white head. Mildly sour fruity aroma. Sweet -sour fruitless followed by some bitterness and some coriander notes.
2.9 At Brussels Beer festival September 2017. On tap hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. touch of soap light belgian wit. Good mouthfeel though. Not complicated but easy to drink simple lemon easy. Ok. Soap .
2.3 Não é uma witbier muito boa. Mas também não chega a ser ruim. Comprei ela em Bruxelas na bier temple.
3.2 An average decent Blanche. Well balanced, nice yeast, not overwhelming. Refreshing.
2.9 Bouteille 25 cl- couleur blonde, pas de mousse, odeur de bois, coriandre, goût sucré, houblon, épices, plantes aromatiques
3.4 From a 25cl bottle, pours a Hazy pale light straw color, with a small white head. Aroma are pleasant with citrus, malt. Taste is soft, with nice touch of malt, grain, citrus and hints of nuts. Light in body but tasty and refreshing. Perfect hot summer beer.
3.6 75 cl bottle. Pale yellow color, hazed. Loads of wheat, very tasty, with herbal notes and lots of yeast. I need to rerate this as i had a cold and couldnt feel the flavors well, but it seemed very good.
2.8 good aroma. good colour of wheat beer . But i don't like after taste and after aroma. It's tasteless and a little bit sweet. More alcohol smell after drink.
3.0 Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Mildly spicy nose, wheaty, with small amount of citrus zest. Hazy light yellow color, small head. Moderate wheaty initial flavor, some coriander, light citrusy note, and a flat sweet finish. Thin-medium body. Doesn’t have much of the zestiness I hope for in a witbier. A bit overspiced, too.
