3.9Bottle (22oz). This is a very drinkable double IPA. Hippy but not overly so. First sip had some flavor that surprised me but I did not get it again so could not identify. Would get again.
3.6Bottle from Jamestown S’Klallam Longhouse Market & Deli, Sequim
Light amber color, bright, with small creamy head. Aroma of biscuity malt and manure hops, tomato sauce, iron. Lean moutfeel, a bit oily; the malt flavor is a bit sweet and oily, with a light biscuity touch, followed by strong bitterness; the hopping is quite resiny.
Good but not exciting.
4.1Bottle. Pours a mostly clear reddish amber color with a moderate frothy off-white head. Nose is quite hoppy, with some subtle grass and strong citrusy grapefruit notes. Taste is moderately bitter, yet stays fairly light. There is also just a hint of some sweetness to it.
3.6Pours a brilliantly clear deep gold with a sticky, tall, white head.
Earthy hop aroma.
The flavor is smoothly bitter from start to finish. Medium body without being sticky sweet at all.
I’d like just a bit more hop flavor to improve on this one.
3.8Rich copper coloured body with a light amber glow, some orange coming through and a very nice, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of tons of fresh grapefruity and resinous hops, a lot of sugars, some apricots and a pungent malt note - very nice smelling - mouthwatering, even. Full-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with sticky resinous notes, some good caramel malt flavours and a pleasant sweetness while showing some good aftertaste. Aftertaste is pleasant and well rounded with malt equally as strong as the resinous and slightly piney hops coupled with an apricot sweetness, some light honey and a touch of bitterness at the end. Overall, a nice Imperial IPA with some good flavours, a moderate complexity and a subtle sweetness at the end. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 27-September-2013 for US$6.99 sampled at home in Washington two days before leaving for Portland, again on 04-December-2013.
3.7Tap at Garage 39. Cloudy, deep amber-orange color with lace. Big, fruity nose, tropical, grass, rich hops. bitter hoppy flavor, very fruity, with orange, peach, mango, grass, peppery finish. Full body. Good beer.
3.9Breaking all the rules with this review: at the toronto beer fest a dozen drinks in. This is a great brew that cuts through the weaker pours earlier in the afternoon. Has fantastic slivers of hops that makes the flavour shimmer. Great sessionable fun.
4.2Very good although more of a regular IPA than double. Poured at a good temperature with a medium size, cream color, foamy, thick head that settled after a bit and a bit of lace. Color is a clear amber with plenty of bubble trails. Aroma is a nice blend of hop, caramel malt, citrus and a little resin. Flavor’s like nose with all of the characteristics enhanced and bolder. Very good balance between tang, bitter, and sweet. Body/carbonation are just right. Finish is like flavor except the resin gets stronger and turns a little bad. Still, I really like this beer and wish I could get more.
3.5Very hoppy but not too bitter Double IPA. Full bodied but drinkable beer. Good aftertaste. Fresh.
4.2Nice DIPA. Slightly thick mouthfeel. Pine is most prominent with a slight resiny undercurrent. Strongly bitter. Not much going on malt wise. Solid. B.
3.8Bomber from Belmont Station. Pours a clear dark copper color with a medium white head. A big sweet malty caramel nose with floral and fruity hops. Sweet, big caramel, oranges, candied fruit, almost no bitterness or heat. Good.
3.7Tap. Pours a dark gold with white head. Floral and citrus hops as well as sweet malts in the aroma. Smooth malts and bitter hops in the taste. Delicious!
3.5Bottle thanks to Mike!! Nice sample pour of deep golden almost amber with a smaller white head. Nose is hops and some resin, plenty of citrus. Flavor is mostly hops with a mild malt backing. Plenty of citrus without being overdone. Medium to light body with faint lacing. Well done and enjoyable!
3.6Bomber from trade with michaelinwa. Pours a mostly clear burnt orange color with a small head that fades normally. Aroma is musty fresh hops, mostly floral, piney, and citrus with a bit of malt too. Taste has a strong bitterness and lots of hops. Very dry too. Hard to describe but the taste falls a little flat. A little too dry and bitter with nothing to balance it. Mouthfeel is creamy and a bit foamy. Overall its still pretty solid.
3.5Murky golden pour, average head, aroma of pine and resin. Flavor is moderately bitter with low hop complexity, and a simple malt background. Finishes with a linger resiny finish that work pretty well for me.Decent and easy to drink but nothing special. Fits my preference for DIPAs that aren’t real bitter, so this is one I could come back to again.
4.1One of the better west coast non CA IPA’s I have tasted. Pretty nice balance of hops and malt without the alcohol standing out.
3.122oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep amber with a lacy, off-white head. I think the bottle is bad because there is a lot more tin and alcohol than hops. Aroma and flavor the same. Average texture. Maybe it’s good, but my bottle wasn’t.
3.7roasty, floral, earthy, golden, cloudy, minimal head, white foam, very bitter, medium bitterness, full body, full body, creamy, average carbonation, long finish, bitter,
3.5From a 22 oz bottle at home. Pours a clear light amber with a thin white head. Light hop aroma. Grassy flavors with subtle notes of orange peel and grapefruit zest. Bitter finish. Decent DIPA.
3.5Drank from bomber pored into pilsner glass at home. Aroma- nothing substantial. Floral notes but nothing stands out. Appearance- golden orange color with light carbonation and head. Taste- light hoppiness with a bit of sweetness. Not great but not bad. Palate- this is the first bit of hops i have noticed. Good dry hop finish. Overall- good beer but not what i expect from a dipa. Pleasant throughout.
3.5Draught at dog and pony Renton, Wa. Huge tropical pine and resin blast. Flavor is heavy pine, grapefruit, and soft malt. MF is sticky and resiny with a very astringent note. Cherishing it as a NW experience. A hop fix.
3.6Serving: 22 oz. bottle from 5000. Thanks Andre! It pours a nice amber color with a thick head. Lots of resin and aggressive pine notes in both the flavor and the nose. The flavor also has light herbal notes. This one is all about the hops without much in the way of malt expression. Medium bodied with a dry finish. I wouldn’t mind a little more in the way of malt balance as the aggressive hopping got almost overbearing towards the end. Still, it’s a solid brew.

Live tasting, bomber into Duvel tulip...
Appearance; pours a wonderful copper color with roughly one finger of thick straw colored head that dissipates fairly quickly to a thin film with a ring on the edges... Lacing is great with a nearly solid film coating the glass....
Smell; definitely resinous, hints of peach and orange... Main aroma is of pine.
Taste; definitely a pine and resin forward beer, with undertones of peach and citrus... Slight notes of pineapple... Lingering bitter finish.
Mouthfeel; light medium body with decent carbonation and a slightly sticky mouthfeel... Slightly effervescent carbonation.
Overall; a slightly different DIPA, a bit more resinous than others I have recently had seems a lot more piney and not quite as citrus forward as the typical west coast DIPA... Definitely enjoyable, I’d have this again as a nice change of pace!
4.0amber/brown pour, aromas of caramel malt and citrus - in the mouth it’s a nice grapefruit with hints of pine, caramel and brown sugar - lingering sweet malt and grapefruit
4.322oz bottle thanks to Jerriko, appreciate it. Im always suspicious of an IPA that is not from Cali but this was a hit! Nice orange color, good foamy head. Smell is straight hops, peachy and not really pine as far as my nose could tell. Taste is a really good hoppiness, peach, not really herbal or dank or pine, mostly fruit. This was pretty damn good and I’d like a couple more. The alcohol was not a factor at all.

3.7Bought at the Vashon Island Thriftway. Resiny, tot he edge of harshness. Moderate right head on greenish amber clarity. Resin keeps it weight in the mouth as well as in the flavor, that also has some lemon, alcohol and caramel to it. A little harsh in the finish.
3.9Taster @ Collin’s Pub. This is one helluva IPA. Beautiful floral bouquet and tastes mighty fine to boot. Surprised it’s taken me so long to try it. Another notch in Silver City’s belt.
3.5Pours copper with a finger of white head. Smell is a bit water, floral hops, earthy. Taste is distinct, bitter, earthy/pine, sticky, almost sweet on the finish. Drinkable, but a bit boozy.
3.4Draft pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Aroma has lots of pine, pretty hefty malt, floral. Taste is not as bitter as expected, the malt body maybe detracts from the hops a bit. Somehow it manages to feel a little thin. Medium high carbonation.
3.6650ml bottle listed at 8.5%ABV on the bottle pours a pale amber color with a 3 finger whiteish head that retains well eventually leaving some really nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel malts and grassy hops. Taste is caramel sweetness with a bold grassy hop bitterness with some citrus and earthy notes. Medium to heavy body with some decent carbonation. A very tasty IPA.
