3.7 Bottle many thx to jookos cons 2014-12-17 Göteborg AR: vanilla, roasted malt, dark chocolate AP: opac black, frothy dark brown head F: vanilla, dark chocolate, brown sugar, wee salmiak, dry, semi sweet,
3.5 Bottle as a gift from Espoo. BB 20.06.2015. Pours thick dark brown, appearing black in the glass with no light going through. Head is tan, thick, retains quite well and laces too... not for very long though. Nose is very modest initially... but then I get roasted malts and coffee, kinda sweet caramel and chocolate, with faint pissy-minty spiciness from the spruce sprouts. Taste is (kinda minty) chocolaty sweet and bitter of indistinct hops, slightly herbal, molasses, sourish black bread crust... Body good, carbonation lively, palate sticky and slightly syrupy, somewhat grainy too, finishing dry. Texture nearing smooth. Had to wait for a long time for this to reveal itself, and even after waiting for an hour I still feel I’d like more from it... More of the spruce sprouts (extract), oh, and maple syrup, helloo? Overall it’s still quite a good Baltic Porter, although I find it to be less complex and fulfilling than Sinebrychoff’s original Baltic that I had before.
3.5 330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Slightly vinous aroma with notes of raisins, pine, plain chocolate and a hint of liquorice. Treacle, coffee, roasted malt and plain chocolate feature in the taste. Some slightly buttery and burnt notes (perhaps the maple syrup) can be detected in the finish. Not bad, but not a patch on the regular Koff Porter.
3.6 0.33l bottle at Mariehamn. Dark black color, full body, stable head. Intensive alcoholic malt taste of coffee, chocolate and smoke. Quite strong. Interesting sweet note of marple sirup. Nice mild sirup-chocolate ending.
3.8 Black color, medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark berries, licorice, hint of smoke. Taste has similar notes - dry with light sweetness and roasty bitterness in finish and aftertaste. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice porter.
2.7 Fine porter. A bit flat body and the taste is a bit dry. Disappointingly little aftertaste, but the flavors of coffee and some dark chocolate are greatly balanced and good.
3.7 Black with creamy coffee head. Aroma or roasted and slightly smokey malts. Flavour has the smokiness too and a background sweetness of forest fruits. Rich, thick texture.
3.3 Bottle from rosenbergh. Thanks Jan! Pours a black color with tan head. Roasty, molasses, black licorice, Roasty, bitter, a touch of licorice, dark fruit flavors. A little oxidation.
3.4 The taste of dark, deep forests! Bitter, dark, sprucey. A little bit roasted and smoaked, coffee. Great beer, really enjoyed this one.
4.3 The beer starts intense malty. Viscous. Great. Molasses with a nice fitting bitterness and roasted malt. Dry and still fruity. For the 7.2% highly drinkable. The aftertaste is intense malty, fresh red fruits together with a dry and roasted malty body. Not too bitter. Smooth and great!
3.9 Strong porter with forest taste. Bitter, crispy, somewhat sweet. Long after taste, which is very important. Coffee, roasted apple, or A bit burned Apple. Could be very interesting mix 50/50 with cheap lager. Unfortunately i dont have Any home right now. Great product.

4.0 At a tasting, thanks rosenbergh, small long lasting creamy brown head, opaque black colour, aroma of dark chocolate, mollases and touches of wood and spice, flavour of dark chocolate, coffee, wood and dirt, medium bodied and very nicely balanced. Very good.
3.7 Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks tomer. Pours brown black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, vanilla and dried fruits. Sweet with roast, dried fruits, vanilla, wood and coffee, light acidic notes. Medium-full bodied. Nice.
4.0 Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks tomer. Black with a tan-brown head. Chocolate, a little roasty and vanilla aroma, earthy, mildly bitter taste, smooth, full-bodied, vanilla and roast finish.
3.2 Sampled from a 0.355l bottle @ RBNG 2014. This is a deep and dark brown one with a medium sized sidesticking beige top. The nose had a good amount of sweetness, almost candy sweetness, light roasted touch and a little bit of wood and chocolate. Is it something light smoked in the back? Tastes nice. Lots of the sweetness here. Not the black kind. Coffee sourness with cardboard and chocolate malts also present. It feels light oily in the mouth and it’s softly carbonated. Gliding and a tad sweet. 15.02.2014
3.9 Bottle. Pours a dark brown, black with a thick, large, dark mocha colored head. Very beautiful. Aroma is somewhat sweet with toffee, roasted malts naturally. Chocolate, coffee. Maybe a little bit of nettles as well. Taste is fairly dry with some sweetness in the background. Surprisingly the dark breadiness is really strong. Dark malt bread. There’s roast and coffee too of course. Some caramel, light wooden touch on the finish. Full with fairly mild carbonation.
3.6 Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks tomer. Black with a brown head. Aroma of malt, roast, chocolate, licorice and a light fruity note. Bittersweet flavor, roasty, with a bit of coffee, a bit of chocolate, a licorice note and a drier finish. Quite full-bodied and rounded. Very nice.
3.9 (Sinebrychoff / Brooklyn Two Tree Porter) 330 ml bottle received from Hermod, thanks Micael! Poured into a snifter, ABV 7.2% Black coloured beer with a thick and tall deep brown head sitting on top. Fantastic retention. Heavy lacing left behind after it has finally collapsed. Aroma of vanilla, roasted malts, light alcohol. Very inviting. Taste of chocolate, light vanilla, little bit of pine, roasted malts and ash on the finish, mild bitter on the aftertaste but with long duration. Medium thick body, nicely carbonated. Slightly sticky palate. Great beer.
3.4 Black body, tan head. Faint malty aroma. Strong bitter taste. Soft mouthfeel and little carbonation. Alright overall.
3.8 12oz bottle via Summer Secret Santa 2014. Pours a murky, basically opaque, mahogany brown with some creamy, brown head. Nose has a lot of molasses, licorice, some booze, dates, raisins, a little bit of dried fig, malt, a little tiramisu. Flavor has a bit more depth, bread crust, brown sugar, dates, malt, some toast, a little burnt wheat, some toasted wood, a little super dried raisin, molasses and licorice too. Full bodied, but surprisingly dry.
3.6 Roasted aroma of malts, chocolates, coffee, dark fruits. Taste is roasted malt, spices, coffee, hops. Sweet milk chocolate finish. Interesting and tasty brew.
3.8 A deep dark brown colour with cinnamon coloured thick head. Some lacing sticks to the glass as the head dissolves. Aroma has lots of forest-like qualities, sweet malty notes and chocolate. Taste has this forest-like flavors too, a bit too much in my opinion. Then there is lots of roasted flavors, chocolate and some grassy hops. A slightly oily body and medium-to-low carbonation. The original Koff Porter is still the better one, but I have to give Sinebrychoff some credit for trying something new for once.
3.0 Bottle at Casper is back tasting. Black beer lasting tan beige. Some malt pretty decent some soy sauce. Not my favourite.
3.4 Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours near black with a small bubbly tan head. The nose is roasty, treacle, candy, treacle, light spice and rocky road. The taste is bitter, roasty, acidic, spice, maple syrup, earth, toast, coffee and alcohol with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent.
