4.2 Can (BB 21Sept'21) from Craft Coorparoo in tulip. Pours milky sunset gold w/firm head, fruity hop aroma. Silky mouthfeel, balanced & tasty, some hop zest in the tail. Thnx Jo!
3.7 On tap at the brewery. Pours murky deep orange. Orange juice, mango, pineapple, soft toffee at the end. Good body. Nice.
3.8 Can (4/15/20--drunk 6/27/20) pour. Appearance is thick dark yellow-light brown with decent amount of white floaties and fair sparkle ( a bit of a snow globe effect and bird droppings at the bottom of the glass but can warns to only pour 1st 90%) and trace lacing. Aroma is strong apple, tart apple cider vinegar, dank wet towel, herbal, citrus. Taste is rich, red grape, bit of alcohol, and herbal. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, slightly grainy texture, average carbonation and sweet finish with zing that is citric or alcohol bite. Overall, don't get the sense that this is over 8% abv nor the high IBU. Aroma and taste have decent complexity--and mostly pleasant--and warning on the can saves it from getting huge appearance demerits. Don't look at it and enjoy!
3.9 Can 1pt. @ home. 🏡 [ As Singlecut Softly Spoken Magic Spells ]. ABV: 8.6%. Murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - grapefruit, tropical fruit, celery. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, citrus - grapefruit, wheat, celery - minerals. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201208] 8-3-8-4-16
4.3 Super hazy and muddied raw honey gold and rich orange coloured body that looks more like pulpy orange juice than anything else, with a very thin, soapy, single centimetre tall tan head that fades fast. Aroma of alcohol, citrus, astringent hops, oranges, grass, flowers, peach candy and some light malts - quite strong in the nose. Medium to almost Full-bodied; Very rich and chewy body at first with a pungent peppery and floral characteristic at first that hits hard and strong and leaves a little candy sweetness towards the end with a grassy and floral bite, but the citrus fruits and mangoes/melons are evident at the very end. Aftertaste is dry, floral, slightly hoppy with a touch of bitterness and a peppery, but pungent full-bodied and sweet finish - very complex, especially for the style. Overall, a very nice and well-rounded, complex, New England Imperial IPA that hides the alcohol well, but has a rich profile that is enjoyable and well-recommended - if you can find it, drink it right away! I sampled this, sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-October-2020 for US$6,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 09-November-2020.
3.6 Lemon zest and grapefruit nose. Cloudy amber, thin head. Orange and grapefruit. Medium body, easy carbonation.
4.0 473ml can. Murky golden, frothy white head. Aroma of ripe tropical fruits, grass. Taste is sweet, tropical, mango, papaya, grassy and dank, a bit of booze. Medium body.
4.0 Hazy light yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma of juicy hops, tangerine, mango, mild grapefruit and light grainy notes. Similar taste, juicy and hoppy with mild bitterness and some fruity sweetness. Medium body with a smooth finish.
3.6 Not bad for a DIPA. Juicy, citrus, soft melon. Plush
3.8 473ml can. Crisp, hoppy and herbal with some citrus, pine, grass, bitterness, earthiness and caramel. Okay.
3.7 Can at home. Murky golden. Plasticine, nettle, tropical fruits, pineapple. Fairly bitter. Purchased at Premier Gourmet
3.5 Cloudy orange-gold pour. Pineapple, mango. sweet, good overall but with some overly harsh notes in the finish.
3.9 26-09-20 // Happy Zwanze Day 2020 at Mon Petit Café, Stuttgart. Can, shared. Thanks! All around a good DIPA.
3.7 Can. Pours a muted, orange-yellow with a nice airy head. A bit of sediment emerges on the final pour. Pointedly tart aroma of robust citrus acidity. Pungently tangy, one of the fruitiest beers with no fruit in it that I've ever had. (#7800, 9/2020)
3.7 16 ounce can. Pours a cloudy orange yellow hue with a medium white head. A big bright fruity nose. Smooth. Apricot, big husky malts, vanilla, pear. Juicy. Somehow this is juicy but also dry. Interesting, like a white wine.
3.9 Sample at Bob’s Bar during the "18th Annual Extravaganza!!!" on 02/29/2020. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium ivory white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, pithy grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
4.3 Pint can. Bright orange aroma with notes of mango, grapefruit, pineapple and some pine resin. Pours hazy golden-orange colored with a large white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with juicy orange, mango and pineapple flavors. Finishes smooth and a touch dry with grapefruit and a hint of pine resiny. Fantastic hazy IPA.
3.7 Can. Hazy amber beer with a cream head. Yeast and tropical fruit aroma with citrus. Orange and tropical fruit flavor with light yeast. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Orange and tropical fruit linger with backing malt.
3.9 Draft. Poured cloudy golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy tropical hop aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy juicy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. This solid beer exceeded my expectations.

4.2 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/11/2019. Pours very hazy/cloudy deep golden/orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, red apple, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, red apple, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, red apple, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.6%. Overall this is a fantastic NEDIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish;; great soft feel. Feels like Simcoe, Citra, and El Dorado hops. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected of the brewery.
4.2 What a nice surprise! Delicious fruity flavors with a wonderful tingling on the palate finish. This is one outstanding beer! Best of breed! It is one of a kind! Enjoy!
3.7 Can from Holiday Market. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Creamy mango and citrus aromas on the nose with some light pine as it warms. More of the same on the palate with a nice juicy mouthfeel. Carbonation is there, but not overly so. Dried mango, orange slices and citrus pith on the finish. ABV hidden well.
3.7 Hazy with a white head that lasts. Aroma is the usual goods of tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, melon. Medium bodied, low bitterness, quaffable, well balanced, above average but not great.
4.3 Yeah it's alright. Thanks for that yeah
4.0 Can from Bottles in Providence, RI. Dried-apricot hue, moderately cloudy, a cm of cream-colored head, medium fineness, medium-good retention. Looks nice for the style. Aroma is orange, pineapple, grapefruit, guava, some lychee, mango, bit of banana, apple, pine. Light and balancing malt caramel. Floral notes in there too. A fruit cocktail! Body is medium-weight, starchy-oily, silky - very fine persisting bubbles and blanketing, slow medium-light burn, great mouthfeel! Flavor is orange, onion, grapefruit, some pineapple, berry candy, bit herbal and pine bitterness. A touch nutty caramel flavor, hard to find what that reminds me of exactly, but it's more of a grain/caramel vein flavor. sap and moderate (but mild in the balance w/ other flavors) bitterness. A hint of oxidized astringency in the finish, but truly a hint, not really enough to affect the rating, likely. Overall, this was surprisingly delicious. I would definitely get this again, soon. Much more earthy, piney, resinous IPA in the flavor than the aroma, which is more fruity. This is especially true in the exhale aroma/flavor.
4.3 Hazy pale golden pour with small fizzy white cap fades to a ring. Aromas are good - mostly citrus and slight malt presence, nice and promising. Flavor is just great - pretty much to the beer's description spot-on. I love the slight sweet of the bready malt with the bright, yet never bitter, hop character. Finish is smooth, dipping is smooth. Truly great stuff.
3.5 Can shared with Beerhunter111. Lots of floralness, easy to drink with grain and a subtle sweetness behind the nice and slightly sticky floral hops.
4.0 Can from Cappy's pour opaque dark gold with moderate off white head. Nose soapy, grass, mango, bready malt. Taste similar to nose with more sweet mango, grass, resin and light to moderate bitterness. Yummy.
3.2 Schöne Dose, fasst sich echt gut an. Stimmt auch der Inhalt? In der Nase sehr fruchtig, Obstkorb, Mango, Blutorange, im Trunk setzt sich das fort, cremig, aber auch recht alkoholisch.
