3.5 11.2 oz bottle pours hazy Amber with a off white head. Aroma of malts, fruit and yeast. Taste is sweet malts and dried fruits.
3.0 Bottle. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer. NOSE: fruity, bit spiced. TASTE: spices, caramel, sweet.
3.9 Strange colour, little bits in liquid. Large head. Fruity aroma of hops. Heavy body, average carbonation. Taste of hops.
4.1 Bottle during Brussels vacation. Pale amber with off-white head. Aroma fruity, malty, apricot, spice, yeast and dried fruit. Taste is malty, fruity, bread, apricots and spicy bitter notes in the finish. Surprisingly dry, very nice
2.9 As "Deventer Triple". Typical Tripel aroma of malt, spicy yeast, fruits, citrus. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Drinkable, but a bit too sweet for its own good.
Trevlig
3.6 Robe or, belle mousse crémeuse.
4.3 23/01/2014 @ Brielpoort Deinze. Hazy hay colour wit nice head. Aroma is hay, fruity, spicy. Taste is fruity, light spicy, very light sweetness. Highly refreshing.
3.4 (Bottle, Staminee de Garre, Brugge, 23 Oct 2014) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit, apricots and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, crisp-bread, apricots and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, fairly dry for a tripel. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.
3.7 33cl bottle. Thick but rather low foam with great lacing. Dirty honey color. Bitter with hop aftertaste.
3.6 Bottle@Tuulensuu. Hazy pale color with white head. Caramel, yeast and hay. Malty taste with long quite sweet aftertaste. Spices, caramel, alcohol in flavors.
3.8 ’Fake’ abbey beer (but that is usually a good thing in Belgium) with light yellowish white, irregular but dense and thick, sticky head and warm orange blond colour, a bit cloudy. Rich fruity aroma of pineapple, orange, peach, yeastiness, honey, rhum, floral hops; sweet and honeyish onset with vivid fruitiness and a refreshing touch of citruss acidity, smooth and somewhat oily, supple mouthfeel, caramelly and slightly nutty maltiness, hop bitterish finish, medium long. Very well balanced and tasteful tripel.
3.5 Dorée trouble, effervescence moyenne, col blanc moyen onctueux.
3.4 Pours a very hazy orange/brown body with a thick head. Faint aroma of hops. Nice and balanced taste of malt and yeast with a round and creamy finish.
3.4 Slight yeasty aroma, not much. 33 CL bottle that despite some cooling dumped most of it’s sediment in the glass. Taste is not bad, though, with a sweetish start leading to a pleasing bitter, dryness. Fine palate, nice body with a smooth texture. It sounds like I don’t think much of this beer, but in the crowded Tripel market this is an above average performer.
3.2 33cl bottle. Hazy orangish colour with white small head. Fruity and yeasty aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Slightly more sweet than bitter. Overall, a nice beer but not remarkable.
3.7 Light orange coloured, white foamy head. Thin yeasty aroma. Taste is citrus fruity, honey, a little spicy. Oily soft mouthfeel, lively carbonated, fresh body.
3.7 Bottle from Belgium. Hazy gold, fluffy head. Swwtness, apricots and a little yeast in the nose. An honest excample of the style, but it is hard to stand out among the many.
2.7 Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy orange colored brew with an sweet bitter taste and hints of apricot and bread. Maybe i got an bad brew.
3.4 Ordinary tripel. Nice grainy body, with some fruits, hops and of course yeast.
2.9 Bottel - best before sometime in ’11. Poured a hazy yellow color with a white head. Yeasty, spices, and some fruits and lighter citrus.
3.4 Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, into a tulip. ABV 7.5% Dark golden orange colour on the body, with two fingers of white head, thick, with good retention, leaving heavy lacing on the glass. Slight hazy body. Aroma is very malty, with sugars, light fruity with peaches. Taste also very malty and sweet, again lots of sugar, peaches, apricot, some nice floral notes and a good bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium body, average carbonation. Overall quite good, nothing ground breaking but honest and drinkable.
3.4 Troebele oranjegele kleur met een aardige kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop, kruiden. Smaakt fruitig, iets bitterzoet, beetje dikke structuur. Weinig koolzuur.
3.3 330ml bottle Appearance: Orange with a small white head. Aroma: Light floral hops, belgian yeast Taste: Quite light for a triple, but it does taste like a Triple. Not as bitter and strong and no alcohol there. However the floral/fruity aspect with a slight spicyness and some malts are there. Aftertaste is a bit sweet. ABV 7,5 % which is on the lower end of a Belgian Tiple. thin-medium body, soft carbonation. Ok brew and an interresting lighter version of the average triple. But the taste palate is there it’s just much more mild.
3.8 Triple beer .well balanced..smoothly bitter and a little fruitness. Laeve the yeast sediment in the bottle you can drink it after your beer or mixed ..
3.4 330ml bottle as Deventer Tripel, drunk in Deventer. Didn’t have high hopes for this but it actually didn’t turn out that bad. A bit lighter than standard Belgian tripels, but the yeast is doing it’s job and the flavour profile is there but again, not as full-on as the usual suspects.
