3.6 Not as opaque and unctuous as the best in the category, slightly better than the reference.
3.8 This stout poured a deep black colour with a creamy, brown head. Nice lacing. Scents include chocolate, coffee, molasses and a little black cherry. First swig was delicious and lightly sweet with flavours of Melloids cough drops, coffee, cocoa and dark roasted malt. Finish is medium sweet with roasted sweet malt flavour lingering.
3.9 Can from the LCBO. Super dark mahogany with one ginger lingering dark tan head. Nose is coffee and dark chocolate with some light vanilla and milky notes and lots of roast.. Light+ sweet chocolate with a medium coffee bitterness. Mouth is medium+ and creamy with average carbonation. Solid. 8/4/7/4/16
O:7.85 V:3.92 G:8.15 C:4.75 G:15.0 T:39.67
3.9 Can: Poured a black color stout with a medium size dark brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of floral coffee notes with some lightly sweet black chocolate notes. Taste is a mix of floral coffee notes with some sweet blackchcolate notes with light lactose notes. Body is pretty full for style with a nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Well made breakfast stout with a nice texture.
3.9 Cask. Pours black with with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted coffee, roasted malt, roasted nuts, peanut butter, chocolate malt. Flavor of roasted coffee, peanut butter, roasted malt, charred malt, bitter chocolate. Roasty, nice coffee and nutty notes. 8/4/8/4/15 (3.9/5)
4.0 Poured from 330mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Super roasty, coffee, touch of smoke, quite enjoying this at 6.5% ABV. Good stuff.
3.2 It pours black with a caramel colored head. The aroma has notes of: chocolate, baked goods, and charcoal. The taste is lightly sweet that finishes medium bitter. The palate is medium bodied, with low carbonation, and a medium finish. Overall, it's a little cloying
4.1 Pours black with light beige head. Aroma is roasted, coffeez hints of chocolate. Flavour is roasted, semi-sweet, coffee. These Siren breakfast stouts are well crafted.
4.0 Cask Stillage at Winter Ales Festival, Manchester Velodrome 22/01/2014 Big roast and hop aromas. Small beige head. Black a little rich on the palate and strong in alcohol. Sweet on the palate with coffee and chocolate flavours. Dry and slightly bitter roast finish.
3.9 Dark brown, medium beige head, not clear. Aroma of chocolate and coffee, a bit sweet, low bitteness, medium body, but sticky. A decent stout.

3.8 Draught @ Fermentoren, København Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, lactose, caramel, coffee and licorice. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, chocolate, caramel, coffee and lactose finish. Body is full, texture is olly, carbonation is soft
3.7 Pours dark and thick looking. Nose of dark chocolate, coffee, sweet yet bitter roast malts. Taste follows similar pattern. Milky sweetness with Cocoa bite. Slightly slick mouthfeel, lactose i guess. Delicious but one to sup slowly.
3.6 Dark brown almost black pour, medium head that dissipates to a very thin lacing. Aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, chocolate biscuits. Taste is milk chocolate, oat milk, hints of dark roasted coffee and dark malts, some caramelised barley, elements of raisin, fig, very faint woody hop expression. A sweet one, always felt like I should like it, due to it's reputation, but it's just a little too sweet for me.
3.7 33cl blik. Helder donker bruin kleur, fijne romige bruine. De geur is chocolade en karamel. Smaak is zoet, koffie, chocolade en zoethout. Medium body en veel koolzuur.
3.8 Nice. Slightly less creamy than a milk stout
4.0 Aroma is cocoa nibs, chocolate, and roasted malts. Taste is thick, malty, lactose, and a hint of black licorice. Nice balance, hints of vanilla and a tad of rye spiciness.
3.7 Can from a local off licence. Pours a bear black with very little head. Aromas of roasted malts. Quite a thick texture and a rich complex taste of molasses, dark chocolate, smoke, good Italian coffee, wood and herbs with a touch of cough medicine thrown in. A little bit sweet, but with a balancing medium bitterness. Low carbonation, which is fine by me. A really nice stout.
4.0 Liquide noir avec mousse marron très compacte. Nez café chocolat et noix. En bouche, c'est une attaque café légèrement sucré avec une belle présence de pruneaux en deuxième bouche, superbe texture soyeuse !!!
4.1 Pours black. Tan head. Aroma is creamy coffee, chocolate, coffee and walnut cake and some aged leather. Good body. Creamy. Taste is chocolate and coffee cake, walnuts, hint of dark fruit, espresso coffee and vanilla cream. Decent roasty bitterness on the finish. Fantastic stout!

3.9 Can, 0.33l. Black pour, one finger creamy beige head, medium retention. Nice lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is cocoa, coffee and chocolate, mild roastiness. Medium body, soft but lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, creamy and soft. Roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma of cocoa, coffee, roasted malt. Chocolate, licorice. Subtle smoke notes, dark fruits. Oats, bready. Medium lasting finish, roasty, dry, lingering bitterness. Quite tasty.
3.5 Smoked wood and burnt oats. Nice wee beer with nice head. Chocolate and coffee. Can drunk in NB.
3.9 Pours black with a thin off-white head. The aroma is of coffee, cocoa and smoked woodchips. The taste is much the same but there is an initial sweetness that instantly goes and is replaced by bitter hops that linger on the taste buds. The mouth feel is rich, thick, velvety and oily. This is best enjoyed only slightly chilled and would go great with rich desserts.
3.7 Black pour. Chocolate, coffee and roasted malt aroma. Taste of chocolate and coffee and slight roasted hints. Medium to thick bodied.
3.7 Old rating from 2016 - 330ml bottle, pours black with a beige head. Aromas & tastes of roasted coffee, liquorice, vanilla, sugar & flora. Medium to full body. Light bitter finish
