4.0 330 ml bottle, probably from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.5%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Lovely aroma of citrus peel and citrussy hops, also notes of tropical fruits. Soft mouthfeel. Very nice and refreshing citrussy and wheaty flavour, again tropical fruits, hints of coriander, moderate bitterness. Will buy again.
3.4 Just white frothy head left a collar on an unclear light golden, slowly carbonating body. Zesty aroma with hops, herbs & citrus. Medium to thin bodied, tingly on the palate & a clean back. Bitter citrus, pith, yeast & herb tastes with long tangy bitter finish
3.3 Tap at Brew Dog Nottingham. Aroma is modestly grainy but none of the yeasty banana that some wheat beer drinkers love. Pours very pale yellow gold with white foam top. Taste is medium bitter. Palate is medium to light body, slick feel, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Crisp and unremarkable.
3.7 Tap @ Pigalle. Pours white yellow, hazy and with some white foam on top. Nose is perfumy, lots of fruits, bubblegum and citrus there, Tastes relatively light but full of character and flavours. Medium bitterness that carries the flavour longer, drinks well.
3.5 330 ml bottle from Beer Hawk, bb 31/05/2019. Golen, hazy, Nose -coriander, clove, lemon rind, touch of sulphur and some floral waft on top of this. Taste - dry, coriander, some bread.
3.2 Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Maidenhead Beer Festival 27/7/2018. Hazy gold in colour with a slight, white, head. Citrus hops, a touch of clove and banana, grainy malts, suggestion of coriander and gentle finish. Fine.
3.0 Tap at The Old Pack Horse, Chiswick High Street. Pours a hazy yellow-golden body with a small white head. Aroma is yeast/wheat, citrus and subtle malts. Taste is very citrusy overall with yeast notes. A bit too citrusy for my taste.
3.5 Fairly on the weak side. An attempt to create a wit in an original IPA style. Clearly fails to achieve both things, since the beer shares neither of the best aspects of each genre. Most remarkable things are its appearance, which is really light, with a good thick white frothy head, and lively carbonation. Taste is good, balanced between sweet and bitter. Body is really light, and finish is abrupt. Overall, not of the greatest out from Siren.
3.8 330ml bottle from The Grumpy Goat, Reading. Gold colour with white head. Crisp citrus hops, watery lemon juice, coriander, light orange peel, light bready malt, spices, floral, light soapy, watery yellow grapefruit, yeast. Nice IPA / witbier fusion, simple but so refreshing + drinkable.
3.9 BubblegumLitschiFresher lässt grassy WHEATY❤ gucken👌 Dry, sharp & dangerously flowerhoppy🎆.. ein feiner Pelz bleibt🙂 0,33l Buddel von BREWCOMER Kiel.
3.4 330ml bottle. Pours clear golden amber with a white head. Aroma: witbier nose, wheat, citrus peel, grassy, herbal hop, light pine. Taste: light sweet, light bitter, citrus peel, citrus zest, wheat, yeast, floral hop, hint of spices. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Dry, bitter finish. More wit than IPA but both elements detectable. Easy drinking refresher
3.4 Bottle. Light-golden color, slightly hazy. Aroma: citrus, peel, fruit, a little spicy. Taste: zest, citrus, wheat, light spice, old :(
Cool Wheat IPA.
3.2 Kran w Muted Horn. W aromacie kolendra, delikatny chmiel, akcenty drożdżowe. W smaku głównie kolendra. Nie przepadam.
3.5 Pours gold, large head. Nose shows herbal hops, pine, cleaning detergents, resinous hops. Flavours include more pine and herbal hops, grassy notes, some biscuity malt notes. Finishes very bitter and dry. Carbonation is excessive.
3.4 Hazy almost cloudy light yellow with fizzy head, some lacing. Sweet wheaty aroma. Hops come out in the mouth though, pretty big bitterness for a low ABV. Orange peel is very noticeable. Extremely sessionable and pretty tasty.
3.7 Turbid/opaque yellow/golden beer with a slight white/off-white head. Medium arona with a lot of fruit and hops and a bit of Witbier. Taste is the same and decent all-over, with a great palate.
3.0 330ml Bottle from Beer52 very good.
2.0 Cerveza con apenas sabor, ni a lúpulo ni a trigo, mucho amargor neutro y seco
3.3 Neither a Wit or IPA as has been mentioned previously but nevertheless a moreish session ale that isn't too overpowering but satisfies with a hoppy hit. I've definitely had more hoppy pale ales than this 'IPA' but that's the joy of our current beer climate...it can be whatever style you want!
3.6 Spicy citrus aroma in a yellow gold pour. Lovely complex yet subtle mix of tan in and zest in a non damaging package. What's not to like?!?
4.0 very tasty and fruity
3.8 330ml bottle. Cloudy pale straw colour with a small white head. Aroma: very much a witbier... lots of orange peel and general citrusy notes, wheaty. Taste: orange peel, lemon, citrus zest, wheat, yeast / mild spices, floral, mild bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. More a witbier than an IPA, a nice take on the style though, enjoyable.
3.6 Keg at the Hare & Hounds, Brighton. Pours pale gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet and wheaty, with coriander. Taste is wheaty and coriander, with a grassy hop finish.
3.6 Keg at the Queens Head, Brighton. Gold coloured pour with a white head. Nose of apricot, lemon peel, light spice, vanilla. Flavours of grapefruit, lime, lemon, bitter herb. Bitter finish. Refreshing, tasty stuff.
2.4 Cask at Wellington, Birmingham. Pours cloudy gold. Didn’t look great and I am assuming it’s unfined. Not much to it either, tasted not much better than it looked. Cack.
3.3 Bottle, 24/06/17, thanks dlite. Pours a hazy yellow with a good white head. Aroma is a lot of orange peel, slight wheat, some citrus. Taste follows along the same lines. Orange peel perhaps not as strong, but very present. More of a wit than an IPA though fortunately not sweet or too coriandery.
3.5 Cask - The Antelope (Surbiton) Beer Festival in June 2017 - Hazy yellow in colour. No head (glass full to brim). Citrus and tropical fruity, orange and lemon. Yeasty and a bit spicy. Wheaty malts, cereal. Good hop bitterness. Sweet fruity and malty throughout. Tasty. Good. (2017-06)
3.7 Cask (Guide Dog, Southampton) - Hazy golden in colour. Passion fruit, lychees, grapefruit and peach feature prominently in both the aroma and taste. Very refreshing.
