Sixpoint Sweet Action

Sixpoint Sweet Action

Ah love is bitter and sweet, but which is more sweet, the bitterness of the sweetness, none has spoken it.

Sweet action is an idea; a concept. It is a simple representation of what makes beer great - the marriage of barley and hops in a harmonious balance of sweet and bitter!

3.2 can - color is more amber than blonde. Sweet malty aroma. Tastes old - checked the date and it is, so a fresher can would most likely have been much better.

3.3 12oz Dose. Ok, ein Cream Ale? Überrascht mich etwas. Dunkelgelbes Bier, cremiger Schaum.

4.0 I visited the brewery when they were young. I picked a day they were ‘growing’ increasing tank sizes. So no direct connection. The can says there is a ‘story’ associated with the brew and to call a ‘hotline ‘ for info. Very Interesting.
3.6 Can 12fl.oz. @home poured into a shaker. Cloudy medium amber, small soapy off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing; aroma pale malts, peach, tangerine, mango, grass, pine; taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, citrus, pine, spicy notes; mild dry bittersweet aftertaste, pine, orange peel; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; crisp and fresh cream ale, very nice.

3.3 Schöne Balance zwischen bitter und süß, harmonisch abgewogen, hohe Drinkability. Sehr guter Durchschnitt.
3.6 Can purchased @ De Bierkoning Amsterdam. Nice bitterness that is balanced with the creamy feeling.
3.6 Sweet caramel and malty aroma, with some earthy hops. Taste is creamy indeed, with caramel, biscuits, bread and grassy hops. A nice bitterness balances the malty sweetness. Feels simple and well made, not too complicated but delivers a nice experience.
