3.0 Can. Pours a very dark deep copper rusty pour with a long lasting beige head. Nose is deep pine and resin and hoppy. Taste is bitter with deep pine and resin. Taste is bitter, hoppy with pine and resin, drinks like a WC IPA rather than an APA. Quaff Score 6 / 10
3.5 On tap at Small Bar, San Diego. A bit hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, light malt and some caramel. Similar taste. The body was medium as was the bitterness.
2.2 Wow, draft at freshcraft, pours a yuengling shade with small head. Clear copper. Smell and flavor are the sweetest malt, wood, dirty malt, and gross fruit. Medium bodied. God awful
3.8 Wow. Can’t figure out if it’s a strong pale ale, a weak barley wine or a hoppy amber. Whatever it is I like it. Surprisingly sweet with lots of orange and marmalade from the Golding hops. Didn’t know they had it in them! Great spicy aroma and lingering bitterness. Guess it’s a winter beer for the sweetness but I’ll have it any time of the year.
3.4 33cl can. Dark orange to brown color. Thin medium beige head. Taste is medium bitter, light sweet. Aroma is malt, piney, hop, orange.
3.2 12oz can from Valhalla’s Goat. Orange brown, reasonable head. Spicy toffee hop aroma. Creamy malty hop flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. More an amber than a pale ale. A bit too syrupy sweet and malty for me.

3.4 Draught, third-pint at BrewDog Aberdeen. A clear copper coloured body under a beige head leaving crocheted lacing on the glassware. Malt-fruity aromas, hints of sweaty hops. Blended flavours of dark fruits, peach and caramel. Slightly jam-like ending. Medium bodied. Pretty nice (18.04.2016).

3.6 355 ml can @ Patricks. Clerar, deep golden body with a fine, medium sized, lacing off-white head. Nice aroma with lots of mature citric fruit, malt and some caramel. Flavor is more than less in same direction, sweet malt, balanced caramel, mature citric fruit and balanced bitterness. Medium body that feels perfectly in balance with a long lasting malty sweet and fruity bitterness. A very solid pale ale without anything special or complexity really, just this kind of beer that’s’ just well made, goes well to burgers and will stay decent long time after the “hop fanatic” says a pale ale or an IPA my last fresh. Just nice

3.9 OK, so I am really confused. I am reviewing the Bourbon Barrel Aged Euphoria Pale Ale - Dementia Aged and Confused. But it is not coming up on rate beer so I am putting it here. Aromas of smokey maple wood, toffee, toasted caramel, deep malts, red wine grape must and moderately noticeable dank hops. Appears a dark ruby amber with a thin white foam and moderate lacing. Taste is confusing indeed with bitter hops upfront followed by a musty grape juice, red wine, grapefruit peel, citrus-y,herb-y hops, toffee, oak, barrel wood and toasted caramel quality, Finishes with buttery hop flavors and a slight bourbon burn in the throat. Overall, this is really crazy stuff. Never heard of a bourbon barrel aged pale ale. Very interesting, the bourbon doesn’t come out too much in this but I’m sure its because of the style of the beer. More of a woody, grape juice, wine tannin, whiskey and oak-y trait in it. Very interesting. A rating.
3.9 Can at Pure Bar, Birmingham. Classic APA - spritzy, speckled with sugary belting hops. Sweetly refreshing. Crunchily bitter in all the right places.
