The perfect Mexican lager. Light and refreshing, it really hits the spot after a long day of brutal chainsaw work. Brewed with the finest malt, Saaz hops, yeast, water, and love.

2.9Can. Poured clear golden, white dissipating head. Aroma of hops, hay, spices. Taste was light, sweet, grassy, some light lemon.
2.4On tap in Provisions, Old Town Orange on 30th April 2016. Decent enough lager, clear golden body, wispy white head. Refreshing but no real aroma or flavours worthy of note, fitted the need after wandering around Antique joints all morning. Bland and cold, typical Mexican style lager I suppose.
2.5Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Clear pale yellow/golden beer with a decent offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma, bready, grapes, citrus notes. Malty papery flavor, grapes, caramel, some bread. So so...
2.8Can at jax. Pours crystal clear yellow with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a nice biscuit note, low hop presence. The taste has mostly biscuit and a bit of cracker. Pretty mellow but easy to drink.
3.0Can. Tastes like musky malt, faint citrus hops, a hint of sweet fruit. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like musky malt, lime, and faint citrus hops.
2.6Picked up at Honeymoon Lake campground via beer cap attached to a bottle gift. Grassy and dry with a light yet sizzling bitterness, grains and light pleasant sweetness. Yup. This is a lager. This could be Brewhouse but I’m not about to compare nor will anyone on Earth.
2.6Nice for the style, but does not transcend it. Crisp clean sweet lager bite and a dash of hops. Not the best, not the worst.
3.66/25/2015: This beer was EVERYWHERE and I actively avoided this beer for quite a bit of my Southwest Colorado. I finally caved in on the Durango and Silverton Railroad and then ended up drinking several cans and then again on draugh later in the trip. This is a really good beer! I love the the name, everything about the can design, and the beer is really, really tasty. It is light and refreshing, citrusy (a touch of lime) and a touch grassy. The malt is crisp and clean and the hops aren’t overdone. This beer tastes great without fruit, but a slice of lime works extremely well with the beer not to cover up the flavor, but to blend harmoniously with it to create a synergistic flavor and experience. I’m actually surprisingly pleased with this offering. Cans and draught.
3.0I mean, yeah, it’s a good Mexican style lager. Clean and crisp, not to heavy on the flavors. Light and a good meal time beer.
2.9Grand Junction, Co - College Liquors - 12 oz can. Sparkling, light golden pour -quickly fading off-white head. Hints of grain in the aroma, otherwise prett much neutral. Light nuttiness, grainy profile, lager blandness. Crisp enough mouthfeel.
2.8Tap. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate grain and floral aroma. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Worth having.
3.5Tap @ Brewery pours golden with slight head. Clean, hoppy, pale malt flavors. Overall, like a Corona but with more malty flavor.
2.912 ounce can, opened 6/11/14. Some random guy randomly gave me this. If this ends up being my last ever rating, you will know we have a serial killer afoot. Seriously, though, thanks! Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of doughy malt, spicy, grassy hops. The taste is corn, pale malt, grassy, fruity hops. Thin bodied. Meh.
3.9This Colorado brewed lager pours a very light yellow. It is neither bubbly (on the tongue, certainly is in the picture) or creamy but in the middle of that spectrum. It is very flavorful. I get grapefruit pith, floral accents and a nice amount of cereal grain as well. This is an impressive set of flavors for such a light beer and puts the Saaz hop right in the spotlight. It certainly made me wish it was in a 16oz can instead of the 12. And it once again disproves the lager is boring myth.
2.9Okay for a lager. Has almost no flavor or color. Very light yellow in color with a white head. Little bitter. Had at Jerry's sandwiches in Andersonville
1.4Clear yellow brew that smells and taste just like the beer I would drink when Mexico was a safe place to hang(hide) out. Only difference is this didn’t cost me 25 cents a beer but the quality was that of a 25 cent beer. For the price will never ever get this one again but it is 100 degrees today and this beer hit the spot and did remind me of some good times I had almost 30 years ago in Mexico so guess there was some things I liked about it.
3.512oz can. Quite pale tanned-yellow color. Hyper thin appearance. Foamy white head. The aroma is respectable, classic zesty noble hops in the aroma. Pretty good for what it is. Straightforward lager, semi mimicking characteristics of Mexican Lagers like Negra Modelo Especial, but improving on them in ingredients and overall quality. Almost a hint of cream ale, guess that would be the corn? Pretty good, a decent session beer.
2.4In a word: thin. Thin pale body, with a almost non-exisent head. Thin aroma, slight corn and grain, but you really need to put your nose to it. Thin taste, astringent and almost soapy. Finish is quick and crisp. Not bed, just not much there.
2.612oz can, purchased 6/22/14 from Lukas Liquor in Missouri. Date on the can reads 6.11.14. One of like 20 out of code beers I accidentally bought at that place. Hopefully this one is doing ok. Almost entirely clear golden color. Good finger of white head initially. Nice active-looking carbonation. Some very fine particles are visible in the body if you look closely. Some loose lace. Light to medium body, kind of a full feel. Lighter carbonation, with a kind of abrupt texture to it. Light dry finish. Kind of a light tangy taste, light dry bite to it. Moderate sweet. Light bitter. Bready, lightly peppery flavor. Ok kind of mexican style lager.. In that it’s just kind of bready and corny. Better texture and hop character than your typical macro mexican.
3.0A Corona in a can from a different brewery! A very refreshing beer, especially if you are on a beach somewhere!
2.9Nice basic lager. Golden pour. Sweet cereal grain with a touch of lemon. More fruity than many lagers.
2.6Draft. Corny nose, really strong and bad. Pours a brilliantly clear light yellow. Taste slightly sweet and almost vegetal. Almost a harshness to it. Not really a clean lager not that quenching flavorless garbage macro BMC. Which makes it a bad craft lager.
2.7On tap @ Flying Saucer St. Louis. Clear straw color with a white head. Grain and straw aroma for the most part. Kind of bland and a bit watery. Some apple and a little bit of chalk. Kind of an aspirin bitterness to the palate. Bread, cracker, and lots of cereal graininess. A bit of an apple juice sweetness, too.
3.1Draft. Extremely light pour. Very basic lager with an american twist. Leans malty and dry.
1.9A clear light yellow beer with hardly any head at all. The aroma is sweet grain and lightly fruity. The flavor is toasted grain and earthy.
1.8Smells like...glorified Bud with a little hop. Tastes like...glorified Bud with a little hop, and sweet corn. Pretty weak for a Saaz profile. This is bland, and I’ve already had two crappy beers today, so drainpour #3. Not feeling generous. Just washed out my mouth with water.
2.4Draft. Pours a thin poorly retained white head, with minimal lacing, over a clear yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is light cereal, minimal hops, no esters.......taste is light cereal, no esters, light slightly bitter hop finish, balance to the hops.....mouth feel, light body, minimal acid, some carbonation. This is a light beer which meets this insipid style quite well. BJCP 7/3/9/4/5
2.6Can from Rob - thanks! Clear pale yellow pour with a small white head. Simple clean grain lager - nothing more, nothing less. Just finished mowing and it’s drinking pretty good in this situation.
2.7Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent light gold with foamy white head. Smells of mild hops and lager yeast. Tastes like it smells, but blander. Average on the palate. Underwhelming.
2.6Can. Serve cold. Significantly better than other Mexican lagers. Fuller, smoother, tastier and easily as refreshing. If you are in the mood for a traditional "cold one", try this. The price point, however keeps this from a regular back yard beer,
