3.0 Feels very refreshing and crisp without over exaggerated flavors from the hops. Unfortunately too watery and weak.
3.1 Købt på Oslobåden. God smag af humle. Dejlig duft. Udseendet er ikke særlig indbydende.
3.1 Roughly persistent foam, and a lot of it! It has an aroma of weak yeast, lemon and a good deal of hops. The taste is right for an IPA. Clear bitterness is the first thing that hits the taste. The bitterness is not on the astringency way, rather marked by a dry aftertaste which later arises good citrus taste and long lasting pleasure from the hops. Tasty and mellow.
Forgettable.
2.8 Bottle from Irma. Pours hazy yellow with a good white head. Aroma and taste is malts, tropical fruits, hops, grape, caramel notes. Soft carbonation. Slight bitter finish.
3.1 50 cl bottle (6,3%) @ Mallaskukko as "Mallaskukko IPA", BBE 24.06.2015 EAN: 5 708348 812228 Aroma is musty with cereal, very hayish malt (even some jyväjemmari aroma.) Flavour has cereal, orange, citrus, peaches, some herbal bitterness and hayish, grainy malt. Finishes with minerals. Not that nice.
2.9 Copenhagen 5/11 2014. 50 cl bottle from Irma. Pours hazy yellow with prominent white head. Aroma is malty with faint fruity notes. Mostly lemon/citrus. Medium strong carbonation. Taste is very bitter - lingering in the aftertaste. A little sourness as well. Rather One dimensional.
3.8 50 cl, flaske, 6,3 % ABV, købt i Irma i Rødovre Centrum i Rødovre, 8. januar 2015.
2.9 On tap at gästgivaregården, Helsingör. Cloudy yellow with white head. Aroma of light fruit, light caramel. Taste is light, yeasty, fruit with medium bitterness
3.1 Cloudy light gold pour with a thin white head. caramel nose with a little grapefruit. Taste is marmalade, malty, bitter finish.
2.6 Bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow with a big, persisting off-white head. The nose is malty, in the mouth the aroma develops some grassy hoppiness. The taste is medium bitter and sweet. The palate is rather thick, a bit muddy-sandy, rough. Solid bitter finish, but a bit boring.
3.1 Bottle. Amber body with a frothy, persistent white head. Aroma is piney, grapefruit, some passion fruit. taste is not that bitter. Grassy notes as if it were a pils. Medium bitter finish. medium body, soft carbonation
3.3 Bottle 0,5l. Pours a golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma of light grassy and yeast. Flavour is medium hoppy grass, hay, light herbal, flowers, honey. and light malty, white bread crust.
Litt mer humlebitter i smak. Lukten var mer hvete og honning. Smak noe sitrus. Bitterheten kommer sent.
3.1 Saknar frurigheten och friskheten ibpde aromen och smaken. Lite mer brittisk IPA
3.2 Bottle shared. Pours hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of light fruit, orange peel and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
3.3 Bottle from a CPH supermarket. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is light yeast citrus hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth buttery citrus hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
3.1 50cl courtesy of and shared with JMGreen UK. Thin white head. Cloudy lemony pour. Light hoppiness. Nice and refreshing beer
2.8 Pours slightly cloudy golden with white foam. Aroma of pine and grass. Taste has sime hops, light body.
3.2 Bottle. Cloudy golden with a medium sized white head. Light grassy and yeasty nose. Flavour is medium hoppy (grass, hay, light herbal, flowers, honey) and light malty (biscuit, white bread crust), eggs. Light/medium body, oily/thin texture, soft carbonation. Medium sweet and light/medium bitter. I’m not sure I understand exactly what’s being aimed for here, but it’s pretty soft and easy to drink.
2.9 (bottle 17/02-2014) Low white head, slightly unclear light yellow color, slightly hoppy aroma, medium co2, hoppy light bitter. BB date 29 apr 14.
2.9 Bottle. Hazy light amber pour with small white head that fades quickly. Light aroma with mild malt and a hint of the hops. Taste is quite bitter and again only with limited notes from the hops. High carbonation. Thin body.
2.9 Bottle. Pours a pale and hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of hops. Taste is of hops, citrus, malt. Thin body and a dry bitter aftertaste. Not really my kind of beer, but not bad. Very refreshing actually.
3.6 As Mallaskukko IPA. Very mild smell of hops. Pale amber colour, white head. Strong aroma of hops, some citrus, base. Flat but plentiful carbon.
2.9 Bottle @ Home. Pours slightly hazy golden small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light flowery hops. Flavor is malt, fresh flowery hops. Thin body, soft carbonation. 150310
3.3 @Ølfestival København 2013 - cloudy orange beer with a little white foam; nice lace; citric hoppiness with notes of peaches; very astringent, a good malt body and an assertive bitterness; very dry and long bitter fruity hoppy finish - a bit too aggressive
2.6 June 2011. 33 cl. bottle. Not quite up to the IPA standards compared to the majority of what is available. That being said, it’s a drinkable beer, but in a tough spot.
