2.7Aus der Flasche 2018-08 getrunken. Ein süffiges, kupfernes Bitter mit moderaten Hopfeneinstz und leichter Malz- und Karamellnoten Nicht der schlechteste Essenbegleiter.
3.4Nice brown Cornish bitter. Good balance between sweetness, dark fruits, brown sugar and the bitters.
3.2Leichtes und gutes Cornish Bitter. Florale Aromen, dazu etwas Citrus. Mild und dezent malzig im Antrunk, klar und leicht bitter im Abgang.
3.1Bottle. Honey coloured, bright white head. Lovely English ale. Floral hops, smooth, sweetness to begin then bitter on the finish. Sunday afternoon beer.
3.5a nice light brown looking ale with malty and hoppy flavourings. Nothing special but If you are looking for a traditional English Ale that is solid and you will be pleased about drinking then try this beer.
3.2Light brown colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have floral hops. Malts and a bit of caramel.
3.8Lovely smooth bitter. Big fan. Smooth and honest. Very sessionaable. Nicely bready and malty, a tasty bottle of beer. Good example of the style. 7.5/10.
3.5Bottle. Fine fruity aroma, clear copper colour and lightly carbonated with a healthy head. Dry, light and bitter. A crisp malt base and fair hop character with it so its a tasty bitter.
3.2Pours coppers with reasonable head. Fairly subtle aroma of light malt and some hops. Easy drinking traditional bitter style. Initially remembered this being nicer on cask when tried a few years back, but the more I have it again in a bottle, the more I like it.
4.3Another beautiful beer from cornwall, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
2.6Bottle tried at home. Pours rich copper with thin, rapidly dissipating head. Aroma fairly bland and acidly citrus. Slightly grassy and astringent. Not in a hurry to have this again.
2.8Amber with thin head. Slight caramel hints, quite malty overall. Not massively hoppy. Very smooth and easy to drink.
3.1Pale amber, with a modest froth. Nose is sweet, nutty malt. Taste is mid bodied, sweet malt, with a rounded bitterness in the finish. Middling intensity.
A good beer in the traditional style. Very good with food.
3.1Bottle from Lidl, Wrekenton, Gateshead. Amber coloured with a rich toffee and malty flavour followed by a smooth red fruity finish. Not bad.

2.2Nice floral hops aroma but the beer has next to no head and looks like cider vinegar. Taste is not much better, very yeasty, lasting fuggles like stale bitterness on the palate. Struggling to finish it. Won’t buy again.
3.0Denne øl har vundet Camra "best bitter og great britain" i 2008. Den er meget humlet, helt tør i det. Den smager næsten så meget af humle, at bitterheden er ovre i en IPA.
3.3Bottle from tesco, padstow, cornwall. Golden amber beer with large foam head. Aroma of malts. Taste is malts, some dry biscuit and a decent hop bitterness. Decent.
2.4Light golden with small head. The beer has a typical dull profile of a simple bitter with overwhelming aroma and flavour of cat piss. Drain pour for me.
3.2Amber color, low head, quite long retention.
Some citruses in aroma but not much. A bit fruity.
High bitterness, moderate to low sweetness.
Medium body and carbonation. Some astringency is noticeable.
3.4Bottle from Tesco, Whaley Brdige, Derbyshire, 500 ml.
Pours mid-amber with mid/thick but diminishing white head. Aroma is strong, flowery hops and earth. Taste opens sweet and malty with some tropical fruit and caramel and before a balanced bitter finish. Good.
3.3Bottle 50cl. Medium creamy white head. A bit hazy. Aroma is leaves, flowers, english hops, grass. Taste is bitter with flowers, corn and citrus.
3.9Nice dark golden colour. Sweet smelling. Some complexity to the taste/balance of malt and bitter of hops.
3.2Well balanced and drinkable. Light amber with a small white head. Medium body. Taste has citrus, fruity hops (with apple coming through), sweet malt and bitterness. What you want from an English bitter.
4.6Sweet hoppy aroma. Reddish tinged golden ale. Small off white head with some lacing. Full bodied and very nicely balanced. Appears mildly carbonated yet there’s plenty of fizz on the tongue. Medium to light fresh citrus/grapefruit hop taste with light malty base. Delicious and refreshing.
3.3Origin: Bottle. Vessel: Pint Glass. Supplier: ASDA (Bristol). Mild and fruity with dull bitterness.
3.350cl bottle from the Bottle Bank.
Appearance - copper with a nicely proportioned head.
Nose - lemon, toffee and biscuit.
Taste - more of the same if a bit watery.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish.
Overall - a bit like a malty shandy but alright.
2.7500ml bottle. Pours light and clear golden with a low head. Aroma is malts, fruity hops and wheat. Taste is malts and a bit of hops.
3.3Bottle 0.5l thanks to Matt at Belgrade tasting. Pour it amber colour with medium white head.Aroma of caramel, some fruit and hops.Taste is sweet, sticky and bitter.Good
