2.1Two weeks of tasting beers running. Nice going. So I had that beer from a cornershop in Bucharest. Hoppy aroma, no special notes. Good, refreshing, slightly watery taste. Alcoholic aftertaste. Not too bad, but 4.2/10 overall.
1.8It pours pale gold with a white head. Head retention is average. A good healthy dose of skunk from being in a green bottle. There are faint notes of apple and a bit of spicy hops. It has some apple flavors with grainy sweetness. There is a low amount of spicy hops. It has a moderately high amount of carbonation and a light body. Overall, light flavors and an overwhelming light struck smell.
2.5A golden lager with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, adjunct laden malt with light metallic notes, light grassy hops, so-so. In mouth, a nice German malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, decent. Can from Super K, Penang.
2.4500ml can. Romanian version. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized frothy white head. Aroma is malt and bread. Taste is the same, starts light sweet, ends light bitter. Not offensive, just an ordinary macro. Perhaps the Romanian version is better than the Asian and Caribbean stuff.
1.54,8% from a 7 eleven in Hong Kong, foam stability is medium, body gold. The Aroma is malty, a bit metal, watery. The taste is malty watery, a bit barley.
1.92.5l plastic bottle in Cluj Napoca, Romania. Golden color, white head. Pretty common beer, refreshing but not special
1.3275ml green bottle at Pineapple Beach Club in Antigua on vacation. Pours a clear gold with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Aroma of grainy malt and skunky hops. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, corn and skunky hops. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. This was terrible, even under the Caribbean sun I had to force this one down.
2.3Bottle, 500 ml. Man, i think the barley was moldy when this beer was made. The appearance and the aromas are OK, seems to be a decent lager. The biggest problem is on the palate. It has a faint but persistent moldy taste, like bread with mildew. It's not a good thing to pour a beer into the sink, but i had to. Disaster, because of this moldy taste it's undrinkable. I think i have to buy another bottle to check it, but the barley was moldy when they made the beer. Big extra point for the bottle design. Looks really modern and cool (it's not like on the picture). Update: i had the canned one, which is an OK lager. Nice aftertaste, no moldyness at all, this brew was ok, the barley was good quality. I had to change my rating, this is a fair lager.
1.8Skol Malaysia. BB 16/01/19. Poured a crystal clear gold with 5mm of bright white foam that diminished quickly to a blotchy cap that laced OK. Carbonation low, average and coarse. Aroma of pale malt; no obvious hops. Taste is slightly malty and slightly sweet; no obvious hops. Light body. Smooth, crisp and refreshing if cold with a short bland finish.
2.0Hoş koku. Çok az malt tadı. Çok sulu olması sebebiyle alınan çokça alkol tadı. Bayat.
2.3500ml can from the shop in Romania, drunk at home. First let me say that the whole notion that the same label brewed at a different brewery in a different country is the same beer and can be covered in one review is LUDICROUS. This review is for the Romanian version brewed at Ilfov. Pours clear with a frothy white head that lasted a couple of minutes, minimal lacing. Pale amber in colour. Light bread, corn, yeast on the nose, basically smells like a cheap lager. Lively in the mouth, with mid to high carbonation, watery and thin with little flavour. Well-balanced bitterness. Overall, a very drinkable but feeble-flavoured lager that no genuine beer fan could love.
A second review, this one for the so called 100% malt, also brewed by our Romanian friends. Much better than the first, pours clear with a frothy head that lasted a while, heavy lacing, no bead. Mid straw in colour. Aroma of lime, bread and malt, with hints of citrus. Lively in the mouth releasing malt, bread and again, slight citrus flavours, some sweetness and a smooth bitter finish. Overall, rather good for a pale lager.
My scores reflect an average of the two brews.
1.4Aroma: Cereals.
Appearance: Gold color with clear liquid and white head.
Taste: Light bitterness.
Palate: Light body with thin texture and lively carbonation. Short watery finish.
Overall: Plain, easy to drink cold for summer. It does not leave a memory but it is not disgusting.
2.0Larnaka 15/7 2017. 50 cl can from Food Center. Green can with a little map of Europe. When I study this beer I get the distinct impression that this is an Romanian Beer. Imagine my surprise when I learn that it hails from Denmark. Euro-thrash probably covers this pretty well. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Disappears pretty fast leaving what looks like a slightly carbonated urine sample. Aroma is pretty bland. Lightly sweet malts. Grass, cucumber, salt. Fairly boring. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is rather sweet followed by light bitterness. Mass-produced boredom.
1.9Pale, clear, white foam, medium bitterness, light body, thin feel, average carbonation,
Botella: 20cl y 100cl
1990 o antes
1.3Oh why am I drinking this....this isnt even beer! just sparkling water with some beer flavour I guess. Bottle from petersham...well at least I unlock Malaysia (on a Brazilian brand) since Malaysian beer doesnt come easy in Australia
2.8Bottle thanks to YH. Pours out a pale straw color topped with a white head. Nose is light corn grain malts and some sweetness. Taste is more of the corn malt sweetness.
1.5Bottle (Türk Tuborg). Straw color. Light, watery and refreshing lager, slightly sour, grain, sad.
1.7500 ml can labeled "Extra Cold Filtered" brewed in Romania. Clear golden color with some yeast sediment, white head goes away completely. Aroma is mostly grainy with some earthy hops in the background. Taste is somehow metallic, slightly mineral, grainy, leans slightly towards the sweet side at first but aftertaste lingers with earthy hop bitterness. Really watery and dry. Quite bad but still drinkable.
2.250 cl can. Golden clear color, medium head & carbonation, light body. Aroma of malts and cereals. Medium bitter finish.
1.60.5 bottle.
A clear, gold color with a small, white head. Aroma of pale malts and not much else. Taste of pale malts and once again not much else. A light body, a thin texture, and an average carbonation. Finish is short and tasteless. Overall it is a bad, commercial brew of which there is a ton.
3.0brewed by Cruzcampo, Spain - I had this beer many years ago at one time when I was only giving ratings to the beers but was too lazy and stupid to write down my thoughts. I will update this as soon as I get my hands on this beer again.
2.5Mine was Romanian 10.4 blg 4.8 abv. Called skol extra cold filtered. In a can. And it was not a bad lager. Grainy, some hops in aroma, crisp. Oh. When warmèr honey comes. So we get to standard corposhitty lager.
1.6Can from Fair Price in Singapore. Fizzy gold lager with a quickly dissipating head. Lots of corn. Malt. Some cardboard. That is all.
1.9Can, 320ml, 4.2% ABV, brewed by Carlsberg Malaysia. It’s a fizzy, pale lager, no more detail is necessary. It’s not awful. In fact it has some nice malt notes. Ultimately it’s cold, wet and has removed the taste of durian from my mouth.
2.5Clear pale yellow, big white fluffy foam head. Ordinary lager aroma and taste, but what do you expect more from a beer at a pizza place in Malta. (Malta 201604)
1.7An easy drinking, cheap, low strength lager. Ideal compromise between the usual lagers and the alcohol free alternatives. Perfect for a session on a school night or some liquid refreshment whilst DIY’ing. Whilst it can be bought for sub £2 for four cans, I’ll be buying it as a refreshing pilsner!
1.80.5 l can. The usual commercial pale lager characteristics, and its flaws, nothing more to tell about.
1.2Can. Golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, light cardboard. Body is light, malty – some corn and sweetish flavor, light cardboard. Finish is short, malty - some corn and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light metal and cardboard. Watery and sweetish lager - lacks bitterness. Tastes really cheap.
