3.0Strong sweet aroma in the glass. Weak in the bottle. Bitter and spicy brew. Very different from the average pils.
2.933 cl bottle. Hazy yellow with small white head. Aroma and flavour of sweet malt, bread, grass notes, metalic end
3.2Drunk from 33cl bottle bought from Belgian beer discovery. Hoppy lager. Enjoyable.
3.1Pours golden little bit hazy with small white head. Aroma is weak, nothing special. Lot of hops, spruce, fruits and tangerine. Not bad at all for lager!
2.0Clear golden, frothy head. Bit fruity, grassy. It’s okay but neither very crisp not smooth, rather ale like actually. Even more in the taste, light carbonation doesn’t fit. Failed experiment in my opinion. (33cl bottle from ABS Drinks)
Bulles fines partout bien vives.
3.3Golden with small white head. Typical lager aroma. Very good strong hppy bitterness, followed by less remarkable notes, including some waterness and metallic notes. But this bitterness makes this ber enjoyable.
2.8Malty aroma, pale yellow, uneventful beer. Really nothing more than a bitter lager.
Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis
3.033 cl. bottle @ home, shared with Rick, bought @ Plus, Culemborg.
Golden with a white head. Hoppy aroma and hopbitter taste. A nice pilsener, don’t know why they state it’s a malt liquor on the label though.
2.0Bottle from Geers Oostakker.
Pours hazy golden with a big creamy white head.
Taste bitter, malty, corn, hoppy...
2.8Bottle free from WLV. Poured yellow amber with white head. Sweet candy popcorn aroma. Light carb med bod. Sweet lager corn taste.
Bonne pils !
3.4butterscotch, floral, cereal, caramel, golden, clear, minimal head, white foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, soft carbonation, light body,
3.4Hazy golden yellow color with fluffy head. Aroma is yeast, hops. Flavor is hoppy, bitter.
3.4Slaapmutske’s first bottom-fermented beer and an immediate success: this is one of the best Belgian lagers I tasted so far. It has a warm ’old gold’ colour and a citrussy hop profile adorning an ’honest’, lightly caramelly malt sweetishness; finish is long, dry, complex, almost American in hop bitterness, with the typical green, resinous hoppiness of dry-hopping. Atypical but very drinkable.
3.4Bottle shared with the crew in the car while shuttling from France to England back in March 2013. Pours faint hazy yellow with a fine, frothy white head. Dry dough, grass and dandelion in the nose. Light sweet flavor with dried pale malts, some dry grassy bitterness, faint straw. Light bodied with average carbonation and creamy texture. Clean finish with hints of dry grapefruit and lemon, further grass, dry dough. Not bad.
3.3Heldere gouden kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop, citrus. Smaakt fris, fruitig, bitterzoet. Iets citrus.
3.4Pours a golden yellow slightly unclear beer with a good white head. Smells fruity, sweet, malts and hops. Tastes hops, fruity and a bit flat. Thin body, dry texture and an average carbo.
2.5Clear light yellow, small white head. Sadly this one was oxidized. To try again at another time.
3.2330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has a touch of peach. Taste is initially minimally sweet pale malty and moderately bitter hoppy, later an explicit peach note gains more and more weight. Clean, well balanced, nicely bitter, quite refreshing, good.
3.1Orangetrüb, schaumig. In der Nase pfirsisch, Malz, leicht pappig/stumpf. Am Gaumen fruchtig, malzig mitn pilsig-herbem Finish.
3.0Sample at Gents Bierfestival 2014. THX for sharing today’s beers! APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head.
NOSE: grains, hoppy, florar.
TASTE: bitter, hoppy, florar
3.4Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2014. 330 ml. bottle. Clear light golden, little white head. Metallic nose, light white sugar sweetness, watery,… Taste is metallic, watery, white sugar, citrus, touch chemical, faint ginger, light yeast,… Watery with soft carbonation. Little going on here, just too much metal, water, faint sweetness. Could have been way better.
2.9330ml bottle. Clear golden color. Medium size, tan head, stays. Candy, dusty, straw in aroma. Peppermint, hay, herbal notes in taste. Medium bitterness. Slight metallic notes in aftertaste.
2.8Bottle, 330 ml at Delirium Hoppy Loft, Bruxelles. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Malty, citrus, spicy, yeasty. Medium body.
