Dark straw with small fluffy head. Nose is yeast and som herbal notes. Taste is also herbal with some fresh bitterness and hoppy notes. Palate rather short but the bitter hops remaining for some time.
Mouteka: Sjukt god och mustig, fyllig smak!
Fles 33cl thuis. Lekkere, wat bittere volle tripel. Hier en daar ook wel wat zoetigheidjes. (9-2011).
Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een geel bier met een wit schuim. de geur is zoetig. De smaak is moutig en wat zoet. Best aardige tripel.
Mooie tripel. Eerder bitter ,dan zoet, doch een goede verhouding bitterzoet.
Lichte citrus toets, licht kruidig.
Geen uitgesproken karakter, goed gebalanceerde vlot drinkbare tripel.

Yeast, banana, orange & citrus tastes with a chalky finish.
Golden, a bit hazy with a slightly beige head. Aroma dominated by yeastines and fruit; raisins and fermented apples. Taste has more fruit: mango and apricot. The end is well balanced, both bitter and sweet. A top class tripel!
Orange copper pour with aroma of fruit, bread, and spice. Dry finish with fruit and bread upfront and a touch of spice at the back end. Good beer.
Très bonne bière apéritive. Une bonne triple bien forte et bien lourde en bouche. Un plaisir.
33cl bottle as a gift from my housemate. Appearance: slightly hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma: spices, banana, dried apricot, malts. Taste: medium sweetness and medium bitterness. Notes of spices, nutmeg, grain, slightly fruity with banana and some grass. Finish is a tad wry. Palate: medium bodied, oily texture and heavy carbonation.
Belle couleur ambrée, bulles extra fines, très beau col de mousse et mousse crémeuse et persistante, c’est rare. Apparence très réussie. Au nez ça sent le sucre et le caramel, le houblon fruité sur les agrumes. En bouche c’est doux et soyeux, peut être un tout petit peu trop plat à mon sens. On sent le houblon mais pas trop d amertume. Côté agrume pamplemousse orange, le côté caramel et sucre ressort ensuite. Belle finale fruitée et très légèrement épicée. J’aime bcp l alcool ne ressort pas trop pour une triple ce qui permet de bien sentir les saveurs. Bravo à vous.
Flaska från Beergium. Ca två år gammal. En potent gyllene trippel med riktigt bra kropp. Gyllenfärgad, aningen fint sediment och högt gräddigt och bestående skum. Värmande alkohol, honung, säd, aningen fruktiga estrar möter en jästig beska uppbackad av syltade apelsinskal med en hel del vita kvar på skalen. Jag tänker Westmalle trippel och mycket bättre än så kan man inte sikta. Riktigt gott.
A bottle at the Cafe Bastille, Taipower Building. Aroma: very, very yeasty. Appearance: hazy amber, massive rocky head. Palate: medium-bodied and slick, average carbonation. Long finish, bitter and complex. Taste: medium bitter, with Marmite. Very satisfying.
Tastes and smells strongly of floral honey. Bolder in taste and much less yeasty than other tripels. A touch of bitterness on the finish, but rather sweet throughout the sip, though is definitely not syrupy. Would be a perfect tripel with a bit less sweetness.
Robe blonde aux reflets dorés, mousse crémeuse persistante. Nez assez élégant sur des notes de fruits jaunes mûrs, d’infusion de tilleul et de verveine, notes d’agrumes légères, pointe de malt et de levures, belle complexité. Bouche à l’attaque assez fraîche, sèche et épicée, bulle fine, peut-être un manque d’ampleur pour une triple mais une belle longueur et une finale équilibre qui raffraîchit. Une triple de soif et d’été.
Une triple qui change des triples! Plutôt atypique dans le style et relativement houblonnée, cette slaapmutske est globalement agréable, sur des arômes orientés sur le fruit mais présente malheureusement quelques déséquilibres évidents qui lui portent réellement préjudices. En verre, notre bière est blond doré (EBC de 15), quasi limpide, avec une mousse blanche d’un centimètre et demi. Son effervescence est quant à elle moyenne. Le nez est soyeux avec des arômes de miel, de fruits (pomme, poire, pêche notamment) sur un fond de céréales. A contrario l’attaque est fraîche, aidée en cela par l’amertume du houblon ainsi qu’une petite touche d’acidité et s’oriente principalement sur les céréales. La deuxième bouche sur des arômes fruités (pomme, poire) et de biscuits est très agréable. L’arrière bouche, davantage sur l’alcool est des notes épicées, n’est cependant pas entièrement bien intégrée et modère ce plaisir. La troisième bouche se resserre sur l’amertume, avec une intensité ressentie supérieure aux classiques du genre (IBU de 31 avec dry hopping), avant un final d’une longueur juste acceptable présentant un alcool plus marqué. Ce dernier d’un titrage de 8,1 % n’est pas sur un équilibre parfait mais présente un belle progressivité. Le sucre quant à lui ne pose aucun problème, bien dosé. Une bonne bière donc, mais pas de quoi décrocher la lune!
Bottle at home. Clear amber copper, creamy head. Butterscotch, caramel, carrub, light alcohol, honey, sweet malts, apricot juice. Light alcoholic taste, sweet malts, ripped apricots, honey.
Aroma of citrus, bread and spices. Pours a cloudy amber with a small white head. Tastes of fruit, bread and earth with a warming alcohol finish. Bought this by mistake but don’t regret it. Exceptionally drinkable.
Pours amber with medium white top. Aroma is cheese, parmesan, caramel, old socks, some spices, sourish, pear, fruits. Taste is cheese, caramel, yeast, parmesan, nuts, spices, pepper, sweet, fruits, mango. Aroma irritates me and therefore can not enjoy the taste. Maybe the second attempt will be better!
Hazed golden with a bit of sudsy white head. Musty grainy sweet aroma and taste. Mild sweetness.

Floral, fruity, herbal and bready aroma. Light drinking for 8% but in a pleasant sort of way. Flavor is as complex as the nose, perhaps more yeast and less fruit. WAY better than the Christmas Nightcap I had in a bottle years ago.
L?aspetto è molto buono, bel colore arancio torbido, la schiuma biancastra frizzantina e di buona persistenza. L?aroma è di malto, caramello, spezie, lievito, erbe. Positiva la bevuta, che è abbastanza verso il dolce, amaro abbastanza limitato con note speziate. Carbonazione vivace, corpo pieno. Niente male.
75 cl. 2014 bottle. Beautiful semi hazy golden with a thick five finger white foam, dissipates slowly leaving lots of lacings. Aroma is dark fruit, both un- and over ripened pear, honey, malty bready notes, slight fresh floral notes. Taste is sweet malty at first, soft mouth, bready and fruity, later a slight warming alcohol note, slight yeast and bitterness. Medium body, low carbo. Clean and well made.
Draught at Pressklubben Stockholm. Small but lasting white head. Light opaque golden color. Light smokey and a tuch of pepper. Thinn body and malty taste.
Bottle from Beer Souvenir Shop, Brugge, Belgium. Hazy golden coloured with a thick white head. It has a floral fruity and herbal flavour followed by a spicy, warming vanilla and lemon floral finish. Good.
bottle @ The Beer Trappe / Lexington KY --- Big aroma of caramel and fruitcake fruit. Cloudy medium amber, off-white head that settles to a cover, sheets of lace. Taste is full-bodied malt and caramel infused with toffee and dried light fruit. Light carbonation moves it to a finish that has light hops and very light sour. No matter, though, as the fruit returns at the very end. Solid and assertive, not one I would drink regularly, but I would never turn one down.

Golden yellow colour. Medium white head. Hints of berries, sourness, hints of caramel in the aroma. Hints of caramel abd berries at first. Malts in the middle. Sourness. Hints of white wine. Slightly fruity, sweet finish. Hints of berries and flowers in the aftertaste. Slight alcohol. Rather medium bodied, medium carbonated, quite interesting and drinkable belgium tripel.
