3.2 Bottle. Dark gold with amber, yellowish foam. Fruit aroma: apple, malt, lollipops, dried apple and other dried fruits, a little milk. Taste: sweetish, apple, dried fruits, raisins, slightly sour yeast, mild bitterness.
3.1 At Cambrinus, Bruges. Shared with Anke. Pours hazy brown/amber with a diminishing, off-white head. The aroma contains malt, hops & herbs, yeast, licorice and caramel. It tastes light malty sweet and very light fruitiy sour, then medium herbal bitter leading to a shortish, dry, tea-like herbal finish. Medium body, watery/slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Subtle, perhaps a bit too subtle.
3.0 Buddel: Almost clear, amber coloured, small and stable off-white foamy layer; sweetish aroma of dark malt and toffee, very small traces of herbal hops detectable; moderate sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; slightly lingering and drier dark malty and fruity finish.Yawn...
3.9 AROMA: nuts, bread, woody, APPEARANCE: brown, hazy, minimal head, white foam, TASTE: light sweetness, lightly bitter, PALATE: medium body, creamy, average carbonation, OVERALL: interesting aromas: warming malt.
3.1 A bit sweet and fruity. Not too fuzzy. Very nice aroma but in taste primary. Better chose other Belgian ale...
3.6 From a bottle. Deep red/brown in colour, mild flavours with a slight warming spice finish.
3.7 Bottle 33 cl, pours a Brown colour with a beige head, Sweet aroma with some burnt notes, Sweet taste
Best goed.
3.2 330ml bottle at home in Blaendulais, thanks to Sarah. As ’Slaapmutske Bruin’, 6%, BB Oct 2016. Gusher. Dark orange, slight haze, lightly sparkling, small foamy tan head, light lacing. Aroma is mango lassi, carpet, caramel. Spiced mango lassi spilled on a new carpet. Body is medium, foamy, soft carbonation. Too foamy. Taste is is toffee, light metallics, touch soapy, light pepper in the finish, touch of chlorine maybe. Sweet. Flavour isn’t setting the world alight.
3.0 Kolor: br?zowy, mo?e nawet rubinowymi. Piana be?owa, sporych rozmiarów, do?? d?ugo utrzymuje si? na powierzchni, ?adnie maluje szk?o. Alkohol: schowany perfekcyjnie.
3.3 Bottle @ De Pikardijn. Brown colour, beige foam. Caramel and dark sugar. Light bitter hoppy finish. Medium carbonation. Ok.
3.3 Hazy brownish red with a huge head. Fruity and sweet aroma with some burnt notes, grass, dust and iron. Sweetish taste with roasted malt, grass and caramel. Well balanced but nothing special.
3.5 From elcervecero. In Duvel glass. After dinner. Nice caramel sweetness that doesnt bother
3.5 9/9/2009 7:57:44 AM Bottle from Cracked Kettle as Slaapmutske Bruin. Golden dark brown body with healthy, foamy head. Alcy and malty nose. Very full taste. Enjoyable. First malts and dark fruits, then lighter fruits, oranges and such. Warm and tasty finish. Nice one.

2.7 Tasting @ gaultier. Bottle from belgolådan. Malty, spicey notes in both aroma and taste.
3.1 It has good malty aroma which reflects caramel and some ripe fruit. Unique flavor as the beginning is slightly acidic, but soon obtained it with a fine and delicate nutty taste released to the taste of ripe plums and rounded caramel malt with a little bit of residual hop in the end. Rich body, easy to drink and very tasteful.
3.3 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.
3.4 33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ the Plus supermarket, Culemborg. Hazy light brown with a small off-white head. Very malty aroma with some caramel and yeast. Taste is medium sweet. Finish is long. Nice beer
3.5 75 cl bottle. Hazy brownish red with a gigantic tan five finger head, dissipating slowly leaving lots of lacings. Fruity, slight sweet, grassy aroma, burnt notes, a kind of dryness, dust. Taste is medium sweet, beatiful balance between sweet, slight roasted malt and medium bitter, grassy carefully lingering bitterness. Medium body, medium carbo, round mouthfeel.
2.9 Flaska från Belgoklubben. Brunröd med mycket luftigt beige skum. Doft av karamell och jäst. Ganska lätt i smaken.
3.7 Aroma: candid sugar. Hay toast. Yeast Appearance : Brown, Rocky head. Hazy Taste. Light sweet, medium bitter, the aroma is sweeter than the taste which is nice Palate: full to medium body, average carbon
3.4 0.33 bottle. Dark, hazy, brown color and medium, latte head. Heavy aroma of spices, candy banana, caramel, candized sugar, flowers, and fruits. Taste is also really sweet although not as much as the aroma. Fruits, flowers, caramel, and candized sugar. Light to medium body, thin texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is also sweet and fruity but it is also a tad dry, relatively to the aroma that is. Overall not a bad beer but alao nothing special.
1.9 Bottle bought at Geers Oostakker. Pours hazy brown with a medium beige head. Smell dried fruits, taste, strong taste of caramel and dried fruits. Slightly metallic bitterness in the back of my throat
3.3 Medium mokka white head, dark brown with some redish glow, caramel candy yeast malts smell, medium to high carbonation, medium bitter, creamy like cacoa caramel some liquorise some acid taste
3.2 Brune cuivrée, effervescence moyenne, col beige moyen crémeux et nuageux. Principalement maltée, un rien torréfiée, caramel, petite amertume , petite astringence, un rien acide, légèrement fruitée. De dertiende in een dozijn...
3.0 Here in the Netherlands, people love drop (licorice swets) and since a while you’ll get even combinations of licorice and toffee. If you like these sweets - you’ll like this beer. A very interesting combination that works. Unfortunately the finish is dominated by a metallic taste that souldn’t be there. Well, another beer…
