1.8 Yeah not the greatest beer. I struggle to finish one bottle of this stuff. The other sleeman types like Clear and Cream aren’t too bad but the OG draught is yucky.
1.4 Bottle at wedding. The other options were bud or blue light. This may be the worst of three. What an honour. Tastes like sweet corn water licked off the hairy back of a sweaty old man who just took a bath in vegetable broth. Was not sad when I accidentally knocked it over on the table. Puts the it in shit. Avoid.
2.5 Average everyday backyard beer
2.6 355ml can @ home. Pours a golden amber colour with a small white head. Nose is light malts and some sweet corn. Flavour is similar, somewhat sweet, possibly caramel malt. Light body, light bitterness, low carbonation. Staple simple macro beer.
2.7 Typical larger brewery fraught beer that is standard fare for the larger Canadian breweries.
2.8 Nice beer. It is not a world class beer but. You have to taste it. Just try.
2.7 Pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is herbal. Taste is slightly sour with notes of malt. Light-medium bodied with plenty of carbonation. Used to be my go to now it’s kind of meh.
3.4 Fine, beer with great drinkability. Nothing spectacular for taste. A great beer for cottage life drinking. A smooth, round, silky beer.
2.1 tristement inférieure, pas de gout, trop banale. Je ne sais que dire de plus.
4.0 Classic lager, smooth and refreshing. Nice bite, crisp taste really easy to drink.
3.0 Sleeman Original Draft has a thick, white head, a clear, bubbly, golden appearance, and minimal lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, yeasty malt, with a touch of honey. Taste is of sweet malt, white bread crust, a touch of honey, and a slightly bitter finish. Mouthfee is light to medium, and Sleeman Original Draft finishes crisp and easy going. RJT
1.8 Une ennuyante version de leur lager blonde habituelle, un peu plus maltée que la Silver Creek mais à peine plus savoureuse. Ne vaut donc pas vraiment le détour.
1.3 Bright pale straw color with moderate activity. Slightly foamy white 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with faint legs. Flavors of corn, wet cardboard, sweet grains, faint caramel and herbal spices. Tons of sugar and low bitterness. Slick full body with extra prickly carbonation. Light finish, a little bready, short lingering corn and adjunct caramel sweetness. Flat and bland. Overly syrupy and feels adjunct. Badly flavored. Overall a crappy craft.
2.2 Dark golden pour, no head. Minimal nose. Light malt, grass, tim. Light watery body.
2.0 A very simple and clean tasting lager. Golden color. Slight lingering hop flavor at the end.
1.8 Jaune pâle avec très peu de mousse. Très pétillante avec une arôme et goût du malt léger. Presque pas d’houblon. Ok pour un macro lager.
1.8 Much prefer a Labbat Blue or Molson Canadian. Better than the worst ones I’ve had, but really nothing to like - I just hate it less as it was short of offensive.
2.6 Very neutral and simple beer, good cold, but loses drinkability as temperature rises.
2.4 Sweet caramel aroma. Pours a light golden colour. Sweet taste with no distinct bitterness.Light body with a thin texture. Lots of fizz. Not bad for a big brewery. Still not something I’d buy again.
2.7 341 ml bottle. Pours a clear light gold with a short lived white head. Aromas are faint but got a little sweet malt. Tastes of light toffee and biscuit. Light body, medium carbonation, medium grain finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy
3.0 Not as good as their cream ale but not bad at all. Considering Sleeman is one of bigger breweries they make some good beers. Color is golden crisp, with average white head that disperses. nothing special or new, just regular lager. Crisp and smooth at cost of bit of taste.
2.5 Can. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has sweet grain, straw and a slight corn note. Flavor has a combination of corn and straw with a touch of sweet grains.
3.4 Single 355 ml can from Sobeys Liquor, served in a straight-sided chalice.. Pours a bright golden amber with fine carbonation and an off-white cap that crackles and quickly vanishes, leaving spots of lace. Aroma: lightly sweet malts; flavor: even less-sweet malts, accompanied by a nice, light bitter bite. Little bit of bitey carbonation on the tongue; thin-bodied and finishes dry and crisply. A more than acceptable light lager...pretty damn good, I’d say.
3.7 500 ml can (with free TALL BOY Koozie) Does not smell like much. Pours a clear golden colour. Very little head. Taste is smooth and refreshing. No aftertaste. Plenty of carbonation and silky smooth on the tongue. Overall you will not be disappointed. MB
2.0 Light malts, and over ripe corn, dominate the aromas and tastes of this mildly drinkable, in an absolute pinch, beer.
(1306-231014)
2.3 Pours a clear golden with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is a little corny and malty for the most part. Some fruits on the back end. Taste is of corn and a little fruity, not the worst I’ve had lately. Just a tiny bit sweet. Body is light and carbonation high, mouthfeel slightly oily and not watery for a change. Overall a fair macro lager, not something I’d drink too much of but at least it isn’t unpleasant like some of them get.
2.2 (bottle - 330 ml) Clear gold with a white head. Unimpressive corn, malt and grass aroma, echoed by the same flavor. Eh.
1.6 341ml bottle. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Flavors are corn, sugar and citrus. Medium body, fizzy carbonation, thin texture.
1.4 This one poured a clear amber colour with a nice, bright white head. Scents include very light eggs, very light vinegar... Maybe a little malt? First swig was quite watery with a med/low carbonation. Flavours of light malt, water, even lighter hop... Finish is a little malty with a very dismal flavour lingering.
