Två sorters humle: First gold och Sovereign.

Alkoholhalt: 5,5 %

3.2 Aromas a torrefacto y galleta Buen aspecto carbonatacion media En boca suave y muy bebible
3.3 Smell of roasted malt, some chocolate and oak. Black colour, very high brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee. Very wild carbon, foamy palate. Slightly ashy texture. Nice but extreme carbon offs it a bit.
3.3 330ml bottle. Muddy dark brown body with a tall tan head. Aromas of roasted & burnt malt, fruit & coffee. Flavor is more straight forward roasted, with a touch of chocolate. A bit one sided. Wouldn’t call this a porter really, but as far as beers go, it’s quite ok.
3.3 330ml bottle from Systembolaget, Hornstull. Black with a long lasting, dense, khaki head, good lacing. Roasted barley aroma, licorice, dark chocolate and black coffee. Chalky and dry mouthfeel, medium carbonated. Chocolate and caramel taste, licorice, weakly brewed coffee, dark bread and ash. Chalky, mild bitter cocoa finish.
3.4 Bottle, 5.5%. Quite fruity aroma. Black colour. Very big rocky tan head. The flavour starts off with a hint of sweetness, turning creamy, even slightly bready. Has a faint, quite late roasted note.
3.5 33cl bottle. Brown-black pour with thin brown head, no lacing. Aromas of cereal, caramel and leather. Taste is malty-sweet, low on bitter, little sour. Medium carbonation, oily palate. Aftertaste is malty and long with (not too) sweet finish. Textbook porter, balanced.
3.4 Sampled from a bottle from Göteborg. Very dark brown with a tan head. Taste of roasted malts, dark chocolate and liquorice. Medium body and medium carbonation. Pleasant, but a little thin compared with other stouts.
3.3 Backlog, early amateur rating! @ Havregatan 20130223. Bottle from Systembolaget. Roasted malty and fruity.
3.6 Botella, de un amigo. 06/02/2016 Color negro espuma beige, sabor torrefacto, notas regaliz, café, cuerpo medio.
3.5 Black body with a brown head. Roasted malty caramel aroma with notes of chocolate, liquorice and metal. Moderately dry with heavy bitterness. Roasted malty flavours prevail, with notes of liquorice and coffee. Bitter finish. Medium body with average carbonation. Somewhat smooth feel. Pretty good and tasty porter, although a bit on the dry side.
3.5 God smag af chokolade og lakrids. Har et skum der holder rigtig længe. Tilpas humle i den.
3.4 Systembolaget- Nacka Forum, Uppsala or Mariefred. Ruby edged mahogany with a shrinking tan foam. Juicy bramble, plummy Belgian or English yeast, gentle lactic roast and coffee berry citrus on the nose. Fizzy and slick with an English BC vibe awash with blueberry and bramble and dusted with cocoa and coffee granules. Good ashy finish. Nothing to dislike.
3.4 Bottle. Dark brown with a very good foam. Aroma: malt, fruit, grilled malt. Taste: salt, roasted malt, dry and hoppy, not bad.
1.8 (6) Slightly above average. Liquorice. Almost dry beer. High foam. Sharp foam. Needs work.
3.7 330 ml. bottle. Obtained in a trade with tlahav. Thx! BBF 13/01/16. Dark brown furniture, mocha mousse head, huge at first but quickly collapses. Nose is powdery sweet mocha, cheap coffee, faint herbs, sweet sugar & mocha, cheap chocolate candy bar, faint umami in the back but mainly mocha & candy powdery sweet. Taste is sweet but powdery, herbal, chicory mocha profile, chocolate syrup, strong artificial chocolate syrup, touch licorice, char,… Body is very powdery, artificial & fizzy. Quite artificial & thin / light bodied. Too fizzy & artificial tasting to fully enjoy but fun enough. Good & fun enough for a macro porter.
3.0 This is a porter with stable light brown foam. It is simple, easy to drink and has everything a porter should and must have. Type is like a dry stout with light watery character who meets English licorice, hard roasted malt and a light hoppy bitterness. Aroma is almost absent. It is pure quality where type correctness is unwavering and everyone can join in. Well, if you are to strong and powerful stouts / porters it will perhaps perceived somewhat anonymous, but I think it can be recommended to anyone who wants to discover the universe of porters.

3.5 Pours a cola black body with a delightfully lasting brown head. Nose has intense notes of roasted malts, coffee, chokolate and caramel. Taste is sweet and chokolatey at first but then moves over to a lingering, roasty bitterness. Soft carbonation and rich, silky palate. Very nice! Good balanced with just the right amount of roast and sweetness.
3.5 Pours dark brown with low off white head Aromas of black malts, dark bread, hints of chocolate, soy, hints of brown sugar Taste has nice notes of dark bread, hints of coffee powder, choxolate, caramel. Medium bitter, medium carbonation
3.3 Hazy, nearly black with airy light tan head. Roasted aroma with notes of fruit, licorice and perhaps smoke. Flavour has roast and hints of dark fruit and coffee. Lively carb and fluffy mouthfeel. Light body, nothing really special.
3.7 Bottle, 5.5%. Pours cloudy nearly black with rocky light tan head. Clear aroma of roast and malt, with hoppy notes and fruity touches. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and sweetish, malty and fruity touches. Lingering, roasty and estery aftertaste with coffeelike notes. Warming alcohol presence despite the rather low ABV. Decent.
3.5 Pours black with massive tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, german sausage. Taste is light chocolate sweet followed by a roasty light bitter finish. Light, smooth body with average carbonation.
3.4 Bottle@wkk (thx hermod!). Black dark brown. Bready malty, dark roasty slight ashy nose. Some licorice, piney hops. Med light bodied, hoppy citrus, pine, bitter, slight harsh finish. Quite flavourful nice black hoppy bipa. -- bb
3.4 33cl bottle. William K. Kurvi. Near black colored, thin off white head. Coffee on the nose, sweetness, nutty notes, caramel. Flavor has sweetness, coffee, milk chocolate, roastedness. Medium bodied, easy drinkin porter.
3.4 330ml bottle (Alaus Bilbioteka, Vilnius) Nice roast. aroma. Light palate. Basically black, small beige tight head. Nice roasty body too. Nice bitter hops in finish. Not a schwarz, simply an excellent full dark roasty lager. All fits together.
3.2 Pour Black with a light beige head. Flavor is caramel, light coffee, dark fruit and some vegetable notes. Mediumbody and soft carbonation.
4.1 Bottle from SB 150402. Pours pitch lack with a firm and lacing dark beige foam. Coffee, chocolate and some smoke in the nose. A dry bittersweet palate with a perfect porterness with some licorrhize in the dark chocolate espresso. A wee bit thin in the aftertaste but after all, it's not an Imp stout. I liked it.
