1.5 Haven’t had this one in a long, long time. Why not review it? I’d say this is the one Swedish beer that people love to hate the most. Aroma - incredibly thin. Sparkling mineral water? The arrival is quite fresh with some more of that "mineral" flavor. But that’s it basically. Virtually no finish to talk about. In conclusion, it doesn’t taste all that bad, it’s just that it tastes so little.
2.0 Can from Systembolaget (5,2%). Clear golden with small white head. No real aroma.Taste is watery with notes of sweet.
1.8 Clear light golden beer with small white head. Aroma is weak malty and little fruits. Taste is a mess of sweet malts and some herbs with strange aftertaste. Light body, watery texture.
1.9 Lagerish look. Aroma of corn, grain, cooked vegetables. Awful. Malty sweet taste, watery body. Meh.
2.5 Can, golden colour with a white head. Nose of light citrus, malts, light grass, watery texture, crisp finish. Ok
1.6 Backlog...................... @ Havregatan 20121014. Bottle from Systembolaget.
1.9 Can 330ml Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and apples. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
1.5 0,5 Dose, sehr helle Farbe, schwacher Schaum, schmeckt irgendwie komisch Abgang leicht herb
2.4 Beer with light color, light body, average carbonized, (bought a 33cl can in Göteborg liquor store).
1.6 Can. Clear yellow color, low, white fast diminishing head. Smells a bit malty, hoppy grass. Taste is light sweet.
1.2 330ml can in Kos. Headless pale gold. Horrid stale dried grass, bicarbonate of sofa, licked stamp and candle fat flavour. Aroma of rockpools and glycerine. Low fizz. Evocative of shit Indian macro fizz with the glue coiling out of the upturned cap like tendrils of snot. One for the plug hole.
4.2 Pure magic! This is what true enthusiasts enjoy! If you want to try a swedish beer this is the one.
1.8 Pours pizzy yellow with no head Aromas of malt syrup, bread, dish water, water Taste has water, corn, hints of pilsner maltyness, herbs. High carbonation, low bitterness and sweetness. Pour out!
2.4 Lukt: Humle og malt Utseende: Lys gyllen farge. Skum/kullsyre: Lite skum. Smak: Humle, malt søtlig avslutning. Hvor: Kjøpt@Systembolag, Nydt@Hotell i Køpenhavn Medium: Flaske@500ml, ABV@5,2%, Når@24.05.2015
1.9 330ml brown pet bottle, poured into a lager glass. Appearance is clear pale yellow with a large frothy off-white head, that settled quickly leaving some lacing behind. Aroma of grass and cereal. Flavours of cereal, herbal notes and processed sugar. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied, watery texture and lively carbonation. Sofiero Original marketed as "Beer of Sweden" is quite appropriate, the beer is like any other cheap lager identity-less lager available in Sweden. In a blind taste this could have been pretty much any other mass produced brand. Taking into consideration this is one of the cheapest brews available, I’m being generous with the rating.
1.6 Can from my brother. Pours pale straw with a small creamy white head, fast disappearing. Aroma of sweet corn, very shy aroma. Taste is moderate sweet, vegetabled water and corn, far from drinkable.
2.7 02.04.2015. 0,5l Can. Yellow colour with white head. Aroma of grassy hops and pale malts. Mefium bitterness. Bitter aftertaste. Good beer.
1.0 Not that good. Color is very bright yellow almost transparent. Taste is light and bitter.
1.6 Pours pale gold. Initial taste is a little bit malty, with a taste of hay. Doesn’t really leave much of an impression since it’s really very watery. I guess works for drinking on a warm summer day, but other than that, better off choosing a pale lager with a little bit more taste to it.
1.2 How: Can. Apperance: Light brown, golden, white head. Aroma: lemon, metalic smell. Palate: watery, some sweetness, sourness. Not good.
2.1 One of the cheapest lager there is at The Swedish Systembolaget. Keep it very cold...then you can drink it. Well it d not taste much anyway. Wanna get drunk and not use so much money. This one is for you. [You get it at any Systembolag]
2.2 Light and watery but relatively clean on the little flavor it displays. A somewhat refreshing warm weather brew of slightly higher quality than your regular American macro.
1.2 Pours a couple of fingers of head. Arona is bready, taste is like dish water, very thin and watery but not good. It is hard to believe this is the best selling beer in Sweden, it is really bad even comoared to regular euro lagers in Sweden.
