Sweet, dessert-like Imperial Stout with loads of flavor. Cocoa nibs and espresso make this a liquid mocha cake. We added over a hundred Bourbon vanilla pods to make it a delicious treat. Dark Humor Club is fun, super dark and with every sip it reveals something new. Enjoy as a dessert and pair with chocolate.

Black colour. Aroma of bread, wet paper, apples, alcohol, yeast. Decent body in the front, but weaker later; flavour of chocolate with no sugar, cacao; it falls rather flat on the finish.
Ok beer.

Appearance: dark brown with a beige head.
Aroma: sweet, some fruity character, some herbal notes, some red apples.
Taste: along the same lines with some dark fruits, that red apples' character, and roasted malt.
Overall: pretty good.
Aroma of raisin, currant, vanilla, caramel and bourbon. Taste is coconut, vanilla, dark chocolate, motor oil, and nuts. Wow...so good.
12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals an invigorating character of cocoa nibs, gentle vanilla and subtle bourbon. Flavour is likewise full of cocoa nibs and vanilla, along with coffee and a hint of bourbon. Carbonation is on the higher side for such a beer. Chocolate, coffee and vanilla on the finish. Very good.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Pours hazy black with a slowly diminishing, frothy, beige head. Strong aroma of stracciatella ice cream, vanilla, creamy mocha, chocolate praliné, candied date, butterscotch even. Taste is medium malty sweet, chocolatey, creamy, restrained candied date & fig, a bit nutty with a powdery feel. Bittersweet mocha & touch vanilla into the dryish, peppery hoppy finish, still very nutty, chocolatey, mocha-like, with softly warming cream liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Liquid dessert, but not the best of its kind.
Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a dissipating, beige head. Pleasant aroma of subdued roast, there's a sweet melange of vanilla and chocolate while the coffee is more downplayed. Rich, sweet roasty body, carbonation is somewhat overdone - especially considering the style. Still a pleasant drinker and a not overly potent Imperial Stout. 071119

Brassage avec fèves de cacao, café expresso et vanille bourbon.
Mon exemplaire du batch 197, était à 1 mois avant sa date.
Couleur marron sombre, à l'opacité forte.
Mousse brun clair, en fine couronne à la paroi.
Arômes de baies noires, café rincé.
1ère bouche souple, à l'ensemble caféiné et vanillé.
Arrière-bouche longue, délicate, mais très légère.
2ème bouche plus ténue, moins équilibrée, avec une dominante cacao.
Arrière-bouche un peu en dilettante ...
Longueur qui a de beaux moments, mais peu de régularité et d'ampleur.
Jambes huileuses, longues.
Levure ok.
Alcool plutôt faible, peu courageux, il est parti voir au club si le boss n'y
était pas .. en attendant, on est avec une longueur faiblarde.
Finale linéaire.
CONCLUSION : une version de base très pénible à noter quand on a testé
la version en sherry, qui est un kilomètre au-dessus de celle-ci …

LCI. Uit de fles geschonken. Mooie, smaakvolle imp stout, smaken van geroosterde mout, bourbon en vanille mooi in balans. Lekker!
On tap at the Sori taproom in Helsinki, after eating 0.3 tons of sushi (obviously elsewhere). Super dark with a mild head. Light soy with sweet cara in the aroma. Flavor has a coconut tinge as advertised, lightly toasted, hints of saltiness. Of course, lots of chocolate/mild coffee roasted notes from this stout. Pretty heavy from the sweetness, not a lot of hop bitterness, although the overall flavor is well rounded. Just a bit too sweet.

Bardzo gładkie w odczuciu, nisko nasycone. Niemal aksamitne. Czekolada, kakao.
W posmaku gorzka czekolada. Wanilia. Bardziej wyczuwalna w smaku niż aromacie. Goryczka średnia, ale dobrze skomponowana.
Alkohol pojawia się po dłuższej chwili w postaci grzania w gardle.
Świetne piwo.

Bottle 33cl. Black with a creamy brown head. Chocolate aroma and some black malt. Overwhelming chocolate taste, soft massage for the tongue. Long chocolate finish. Chocolate chocolate and a bit more chocolate.

Well this is excellent stuff. A big rich stout with chocolate, coffee, vanilla, a richy malty taste too. Nothing revolutionary, just a seriously good stout.
Bottled, 330ml from Brews of the World, Burton on Trent, Staffs. Black with beige head. Initially this is mostly sweet chocolate, milky in character, deeply flavoured, rich dark malts. There is a vanilla note along with milky coffee. Silky and smooth. Very pleasant beer indeed. Not keen on the Americanisation of Humour though.

330ml bottle. Pours dark brown, small beige head stays. Aroma is roasty, chocolatey, some coffee. Taste is roasty, chocolatey, cocoa, hints of vanilla. Almost full body, bit below average carbonation. Smooth and soft, well aged (BB about 10 months ago).
Tap @ Borefts. Almost black. Caramel and marzipan in the aroma and flavor. Soft roast. Malty sweet flavor with a hint of chocolate and coffee.

Een lekkere Stout, goede balans, niet heel erg dik maar wel lekkere vanille tonen, chocolade, espresso, geen lange afdronk
Keg @ Bishops Arms, Hornsgatan. Very dark pour, dense khaki head, some lacing. Big roasted aroma with some sweet vanilla notes. Soft mouthfeel, full bodied, soft carbonated. Heavy roast in the taste, cocoa, sweet molasses and vanilla notes. Harsh roasted bitter finish.
Tap (Pinta, Wrocław). Niemal czarne z niewielką i szybko znikającą, beżową pianą. W aromacie kawa z nutką wanilii w tle. W smaku kawa, czekolada mleczna, wanilia. Piwo średnio treściwe, dość lekkie w odbiorze jak na risa, generalnie przyzwoite.
Rich, delightful, layered, nuanced, not over-the-top with the coffee/roast/nuts/booze elements; all seems to come together! Recommended (11.2 oz bottle, Pudel, Tallinn)
