Our Pale is an aggressively hopped, with immense overtones of grapefruit and tangerine wrapped in a delicately refined body of pale barley and wheat.

3.6Beautiful tangerine pour with thin quickly dispersed head. Hops shine on the nose, resiny and pine up front with brief malt background. almost thin mouth feel that is crisp despite having been bottle conditioned. Drinkable and refreshing

Pours copper color with a medium sized head. Aroma of pine needles, hops, fruits and orange zest. Flavor of fruits, caramel malts, grass and resiny hops.
3.8Bottled 0,35L. Orange deep color, fraught and bubbly aspect, good head of discreet resistance. Very pleasant hop aroma, notes of resin, floral, citrus. Prickly body, little alcoholic impact, much flowery and hoppynes content, little notes of caramel and sweet start; decided and prolungate bitter smooth final.
3.9Showed up at my local Thai place and they had this on tap. Couldn't believe it. First time I've seen Southern Tier in Memphis. Poured a slightly hazy golden color. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, very floral for a pale ale. Taste is really good too. Crisp and clean, hoppy with floral notes. Nice Pale Ale. I'll drink this again. So glad they had this on tap.
3.0This pours a semi-cloudy, golden yellow color with a thin, off-white head. The scent is mild with hops mixed with hints of citrus. The taste is weaker than I would expect from Southern Tier. The texture is thin and the flavor is weak with just hints of wheat and grains. Not really much of a bitterness to it either. Granted I did get this after it was listed as “retired” so maybe it lost some flavor along the way.
3.8Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour, tiny white head, grapefruit hop aroma, piney hop taste with grapefruit sweet malts, sticky resinous mouth feel.
2.4Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Hazy yellow color, quickly diminishing white head. Smell malts, old stale hops and a bit metallic. Taste malts, old hops, some hints of cardboard. Too bad, must have been an old bottle unfortunately. Hope to re-rateit fresh someday.
3.3Bottle @ home thx to benzai. Hazy pale yellow colour with a small white head. Smells wort, malty, hay, barnyard. Tastes very malty, wort, hayish. Not very hoppy. Medium body, low carbo.

Hazy gold beer. Little white head. Crisp dry palate, a carbonated snap. Fresh mandarin with traces of peach and mango. Dry finish. Mildly bitter aftertaste. A cracker of a fresh pale ale.
3.3(Bottle) Pours dark golden with a small head. The aroma holds orange peel, grapefruit juice, and some “green”, herbal and grassy notes. Undertones of toast, light bread, light vanilla, touch of mandelkubb and a whisper of honey. The flavour is light sweet, light to medium bitter and tiny acidic. Citric, herbal hoppy and subtle malty. The mouthfeel is clean with light carbonation. Grapefruity, woodsy and light candy-like finish. Light to medium bodied.
3.1355 ml bottle bought @ Bierkompass.de. Pours clear golden with a small frothy white head that quickly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy with grapefruit juice, white bread, orange zest, caramel, lemon zest, grass, overripe lemons, resinous wood and nettles. Taste is sweet and bitter with white bread, grapefruit juice, orange peal marmalade, cookie dough, overripe lemons, golden syrup, grass and hints of caramel. Mouthfeel is round, tiny sticky and medium bodied. Finish is sweet with grapefruit rinds, orange peak marmalade, overripe lemons, white bread and slightly dry grass. About 6-7 months which is pretty obvious in the taste and smell.
3.912oz from the back of my fride. From the bottle. Nice grapfruit/citrus rind, caramel malts, and some slight yeasty notes. Super easy to drink, leaving you wanting more. Why did ST stop brewing this? A winner in my book....
3.6Non è affatto male anche se sembra più un IPA di un’ APA.
2.9Bottle a few months back. Poured a gold orange color with small head and lace. Aroma of pine, orange citrus common to alot of the ST beers, fresh cut grass, and light malt. Tast is bitter hops, orange slice, wheat, caramel malt. This one was too sweet for me to session.
3.0Pours a clear and golden beer with a white head. The aroma is malt and hops with citrus. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitterness. Overall an average beer.
3.5Pours a hazy, yellow gold with a puffy, off-white head.
Scent is grapefruit, piney hops, tangerines.
Taste is an almost sugary sweet citrus, then bitter fruity hops......in the same sip.
Very sweetly malted.
Tasty stuff.
3.435 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear yellow with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is piney and fruity hops as well as some caramel malt. Flavour is very much like the aroma.
2.7A good Indian pale ale. Firs time having a southern tier beer, will def try more. Not to bad!
3.4Sessioned as the beer of the night during the McKenna St. Cessario party 2012. A decent pale ale by this brewer and well described commercially.
3.3Tap. Soft malty fruity nose. Smooth, quite viscous body. Has an enamouring quality, if a tad cloying as it warms.
4.2One of the better staple pale ales provided by the larger microbreweries. On par with Boulevard and Full Sail. Grapefruit Grapefruit Grapefruit. A bit of pine as well. Sweet with a nice bitter zing. Delish.
4.3Great beer. It pours yellow with a thin head. There seems to be some chill haze. The aroma has slight grapefruit with some orange, a hint of pine and maltiness. Very nice and balanced. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, and medium carbonation. The flavor is malty with citrus and mild pine/grass. The bitterness is nicely balances with the malt. Overall one of the best APAs I’ve had. It’s not over the top like West Coast pale ales, but not boring like some from the East Coast. Awesome.
3.4Bottled. Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some mild sweet malts as well as some citrusy notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some crystal malty notes as well as some citrusy and floral hoppyness. Pleasantly balanced and actually very refreshing.
3.3Odense Catching Up on Stuff Left in the Cellar Event July 2012. Golden with a small white head. Citrus hoppy aroma with grainy and bready malt. Sweetish malty flavour with fruity hops.
3.533 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 20.11.2010
Aroma feels exactly like the grain bin at my grandma’s old house. It has hay, grain and some fruity hops. Flavour is somewhat hoppy with fruits, caramel and some bready malt. Good.
Rundes, wunderbar hopfiges Pale Ale. 12/12/12/12/11/12
3.0355ml bottle ["2 varieties of hops & 2 types of malt">. Clear golden colour with average to huge firm frothy white head. Slightly grainy aroma with a floral hoppy touch. Monotonous slightly sweet malty taste with a touch of fruit and hints of floral hop. "Agressively hopped"? Can’t find this. Wrong label? New recipe? Contrary to any expectations.
4.56/8/12- Pours a murky straw color with a white 1f head. Aromas of clean floral and light grapefruit hops. Maybe some spicy malt on the back end. Starts light and creamy before a spike of carbonation shows up with grapefruit hops. I almost get spicy sweet malts on the drying linger. Overall a sweet citrusy pale ale that is bordering on a hoppy wheat. Very refreshing and I'll keep this around for summer.
3.412 ounce bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and florals. Taste is lemons, oranges, florals, pine, and malt. Nicely balanced. Nice APA.
3.2Bottle. Straw yellow clear. Small head. Some malty notes and sparse hoppy grass notes as well. Crisp dry finish. For very much like a Classic pilsner. Good tasty brew. .
