Squatters Full Suspension

This rich, Northwest-style Pale Ale is a rare feat of balance: unfiltered, dry-hopped to 40 IBUs, and deliciously seasonable. Groove on this two-time Great American Beer Festival® Gold Medal winner (2001 and 2002 Bitter Category). It really smooths out the bumps.

3.0 Can - Pours amber with fizzy white head. Notes of citrus and other light fruits. Fruity flavor, juice, fermented breads, some bitterness in the after. Mild. Drinkable. Meh.
3.0 A bit trashy and thin. Bready malt, dry hops, slight bitterness. The finish fades away quickly. Meh.
2.7 On tap at Squatters, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is well-balanced, with a nice piney hop quality and dry biscuity malt. Bland and lifeless, but it’s okay.
1.8 So, there is no reason for a full suspension of your disbelief! No, indeed, believe it: Blatz rules forever and ever, amen. This beer, not so much. But I have tasted worse.....think Strohs’.
3.2 Draft. Amber beer with a dark cream head. light malt aroma. Light malt and light grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Light malt and light grapefruit lingers with light grain.
3.3 0,33 l can. Murky flat orange in the glass. One finger foamy white head. Floral hopy nose. Starts with a hopy bitterness, very floral, some citrus, later more dusty grain. Increasing malt to the end. Nice one.
3.2 (Squatters Full Suspension Pale Ale) At ’t Pleintje, Hengelo, I didn’t pay attention but I think came from a bottle. Pale orange colour on the body, crystal clear, with one finger of kind of thin, white head on top, good retention though and it left a nice lacing behind. Aroma of malts, light caramel, straw. Taste is mildly bitter with caramel, malts, straw, old grass, metallic notes. Medium thin bod, carbonation on the high side. Decent.
2.8 Pale ale. ホッピーではあるけど、好みの香りとはちょっとちがう、さわやか系
3.6 On tap at the Airport pub. Pours a near clear golden amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of grain and grass with a touch of earthiness underlying. Flavor has grass and light grain throughout with s hint of pine underlying in the finish.
3.3 On tap at Snowbird. Nice golden body. Nose is nice and hoppy. Taste of hops, grass, citrus bursts. Really nice after a day of skiing.
3.6 Can poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, grassiness and pine. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, grassiness and pine with a smooth finish.
3.5 Can. Pours a hazy golden color with a fair head. Aroma of citrus, fruity sweetness do grain. Taste of citrus mild fruit sweetness with a bit of caramel. Light bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, smooth with a refreshing feel. Easy drinker.
3.5 Probably the best and most flavorful beer I had on my trip to Utah. Very fresh and enjoyable.
3.4 Draft. Golden color. Aroma of bitter hop, grain and citrus. Mild fresh taste of bitter hop, some pine and citrus. Nice with meat.
3.6 With an IBU rating of 40 its surprisingly not bitter. Its a good drinkable APA I liked it would recommend.
3.6 Nog zo’n leuke IPA. Een coole naam. Goede smaak en schuimkraag en lekker ook.
3.5 appearance: slightly hazed amber, one finger of creamy off-white-to-light-yellow head, average lacing. aroma: graham cracker, grapefruit pith, light pine caramel, honey, graham cracker; grapefruit, apricot, light pine. finish: slight malty sweetness, dried out with some lingering citrus and pine hop notes. notes: Very good pale ale. Balanced, good palate. Can purchased from the Squatters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
3.2 bottle not bad, moderate hops,, light-moderate caramel malts, finish is pine. Easy drinker, great for everyone, you can’t not like it, simple and crowd-pleasing
3.4 Draft at the SLC airport Squatters. Pours hazy golden amber with a fizzy beige head and lots of lacing. Tastes like hop resin, herbs, lemon, and dry pine hops. Light body and medium carbonation. Smells like hop resin, herbs, pine hops, and faint grapefruit.
3.3 On tap @ Wasatch Sugarhouse. Sort of hazed golden pour with white foam. A bit of blueberry and a whole lot of grassy hops. Somewhat pithy, too. Mild malt flavor and sweetness. Pretty good bready character, but the grassiness is a little too much.
3.6 Unfiltered orange/amber beer with a fizzy light head that kicks up when you take a drink and quickly settles down to nothing, ok lacing. Huge hop smell to this beer, but it’s not in the taste. Very citrusy. But it’s got a sort of wheat malt taste that dominates the flavor profile. Refreshing, but a bit light in the mouthfeel. This would make a good session beer.
3.2 Aroma: some citrus and herbs notes, caramel. Appearance: hazy copper color, thin white head. Taste: medium herbal bitterness, caramel, roasted notes, quite dry and slightly watery, Palate: low body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Rather English PA than APA, but still ok.
3.4 On tap at the River Room. Poured out with a thick head, needed a spoon to clear enough off to finish the pour. Hops aren’t as apparent in the nose as in the taste. Fairly bitter for an APA, crisp, clean. Body is on the lighter side.
3.3 bottle. Initially pours clear amber with a thin white head and ends hazy. Big hoppy aroma with orange notes. Medium bodied, crisp carbonation with a dryish mouthfeel. Cereal malt flavour with citric hops a touch metallic.
2.9 Sample pour at squatters in salt lake city. Frothy head deep orange hue. Robust malt and piney aroma. Comes off a little wateryier than I’d hoped. I get a little vanilla, little bitter, little wheaty.
3.2 Bottle at ruby. Bryce Canyon. Pours slightly hazy orange some head no lacing. Nose is fruity, peach and some cereal. Flavours, peach, some light grapefruit, some cereal.’taste light/med bitter light sweet. Light body lively carbonation. Decent flavour for the abv.
3.7 The best squatters option. Actaually a good beer. Nice hop on the nose and on the mouth. Very good beer. Great flavors for the abv.
3.1 Tap in Springdale UT 2/17/15. Light amber pour, nice head. Grainy with mellow hop character. Perfectly drinkable but nowhere near a standout. Bottled revisit 2/19/17. Pretty much as above. A bit malt forward for the style.
3.4 Can. It’s an unclear, golden-orange beer with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has hop pellets, pine cones, orange zest and some hints of pale wort. Piney and lightly orange peel-ish flavor with malt notes and a decent bitterness. Medium to full-bodied, dry and nicely carbonated. Lasting finish. A bit too much on the hop pellet side this one, but nice anyway. Impressive body for a beer this weak. Quenching. 140613
