3.4 Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear golden, medium white head. Bready malt, floral and spicy hops. Medium bodied. Semi dry, medium bitterness.
3.0 For a regular off the self British amber ale I was surprised by the fruitiness and sweetness. Not harsh like I expected. Pretty enjoyable but I would rather more depth and body.
3.7 0.5 l bottle from K-Supermarket Posti, Helsinki. Golden, clear, big head. Taste has apricot, strange, well, it's very fruity, which is nice. Quite refreshing anyway.
3.5 500ml bottle BBE June 2021. Nice moderate gold pour, clean smallish white head. Aroma of malt, grain and grapefruit. Nice silky smooth carbonation and texture on the palate so good body. Flavour or malt, grapefruit, orange, floral notes and a dry hoppy finish with a malty aftertaste. Very nice, not quite as good as their IPA ‘Proper Job’ but a fine beer indeed.
1.0 Una paraula: pobre
3.4 500ml bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Biscuit taste. Bittersweet finish.
3.0 Malty, breadcrumbs, cereal aroma, clear amber color, small sized white head, bitter, bready and malty taste, some citrus and herbs, cereal, thin, soft fizz.
3.2 Ottima English Pale Ale. Soft e beverina. Amarognola.
3.9 500ml bottle brewed in England at 4.2%. 1/3 fluffy head, clear picturesque amber. Orange citrus aroma with a hint of 'supermarket'. Lowish carbonation. Clear as day orange/tangerine citrus hops with a hint of grapefruit but no astringency. Retiring but well-integrated pale biscuit malt comes back in the aftertaste. All-in-all a lovely little pale ale, plenty of flavour, never mind for a supermarket offering at the ABV, and refreshing as you like. A hidden gem.
2.4 Pours an amber colour beer with a white frothy head Notes of citrus fruits and berries fruits fresh and citrus Bottle version
3.6 Beautiful pale. Ok it's all over the south west. This has been in my eyes ever since I could see living so close to the brewery. I also believe there is a lot better on offer from St. Austell brewery. But my oh my have I been humbled this evening. Pours out amber, off pale, lasting white head. Smells of fresh hops, light breads and biscuits. Decent look and aroma, inviting. Taste is fresh and swift. Refreshing pale, hop forward malty, thirst quenching beer. Decent mouthfeel for such a low abv. You know what had always turned my nose up but this is decent, it is the flagship for the brewery and I can see why.
2.2 Aroma : Lightly toasted caramel/bready malt, very subtle grapefruit citrus & grass with a slight soapy note. Taste : Thin watery body. Light citric bitterness upfront with thin caramaly malty backing. Better than the average EPA but still pretty bland & very ordinary
3.1 29/12/2019. Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, fruit, flowers and light bready notes. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
2.4 500mL bottle, pours a clear pale copper golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals light English bready malt, a very mellow hop character, and some metallic notes. Flavour is identical, with metallic notes, biscuity malt, and gentle earthy hops. The clarity is decent, the flavours are just not particularly interesting. Passable English pale like so many others.
3.8 Bottle, 50 cl, bought at Sainsbury's, Pimlico (London). Pleasant British pale ale, well balanced, exactly as described on the label: "The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt for this superb and classic pale ale." Medium bitter finish.
2.7 Botella de 50 cl @ Cata de cervezas de St. Austell. Color cobrizo, espuma blanca escasa con poca retención. Aromas a cereal, malta, cítricos. En boca, maltosa y notas cítricas y florales. Correcta.
3.3 Bottle. pours golden almost without the head. Aroma is metal, some fruits, copper, some dry notes. Taste is metal, copper, dry, some butter, cereals, some bitter notes. Nice beer!
2.6 Golden, hazy, white beerhead, with thin, fine foam, ok retention. The aroma is honey, floral, mint, and malty, slightly toasty. Light sweetness, light bitterness, soft carbonation. The taste is coincided with aroma. High drinkability.
2.6 Bottled. 15cl sample. The aroma has toffee malt, light floral/piney hops, bit herbal tones. Clear, copper coloured beer with a thin head. The taste is malty sweet, has herbal tones. Overall a bit boring.
2.9 Nice mellow ale but nothung special for me
3.4 (Bottle) Clear amber gold, tiny white head. Nice aroma of toffee malt and restrained hops. Light body with rather fizzy carbonation. Sweet toffee malt, hints of stewed apples and tea. Some restrained bitterness in finish. Very quaffable.
2.9 Color ámbar, cobrizo, cristalina. Un dedo de espuma sin retención alguna. Aroma herbal y a caramelo. Cuerpo acuoso. Pale Ale cumplidora y económica.
4.7 Bottle from Tescos. Nice crisp REFRESHING pale ale. I like it I would buy again
3.2 Thin off white head left a spotty cover on a pale copper coloured still body. Malt, caramel & English hops aroma. Medium bodied, soft & creamy over the tongue with a well carbonated clean back. Floral tastes with sweet malt, sugar, sweet berry & herbal tastes followed by a zesty citrus finish.
3.4 Can on BA flight from Bermuda to LGW. Very surprised by this one! Aroma is a bit of corn and open field wheat with faint spice (pepper) and floral aspects as it warmed. Clear light gold with moderate white head and slight patterns. Taste is fruity and floral. Nice beer.
