2.9Bottle (33 cl) from Beer Gusto, Belgium. Murky brown, medium beige head. Nutty malt, some roasted notes, cloying spicy aromas. Light to mmedium bodied, medium carbonnation. Semi dry, medium bitterness.
3.1Solid Belgian dubbel. Body of sweet malt, with a touch of caramel. Has fruits and some mild herbs.
Sic.
3.033cl bottle. Pours drark amber with big beige head. Aroma is moderate malty and yeasty, sweet, quite strong metalic notes. Flavor is light bitter with a short duration, yeasty, sweet, a bit grainy, aftertaste has roasted malt, burned chocolate and metalic notes
3.1bottle from jaghana. Dark brown, creamy off-white head. Malty with chocolate and dried fruit (dates, figs). Slightly yeasty and hoppy, perhaps a tad watery for the strength.
3.0330 ml. bottle. Brown colour with an off white head that holds long enough. Good lace. Smell of chocotate, dark fruits and eucalyptus. Yes, That’s what I think. Medium body, creamy. Taste of chocolate, molasses and caramel. Not bad, but nothing really special.
3.1Bottle. Red dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, malt, caramel, sugar. Flavour is fruit, malt, caramel, sugar, yeast. Medium body. OK/ Ordinary beer.

3.8Bottle at home. Dark brown with a reasonable head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Flavour is packed with malt and liquorice with little balancing hops and subtle fruitiness. Not bad
3.6Bottle. It pours a dense, beige head over a clear, reddish brown body. Looking quite nice, and there’s curtains too. Dried fruits, some caramel and cellar, brown sugar and a little piney touch. Quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Dried fruits, caramel, brown sugar and even more dried fruits. Piney notes, and a little bitterness. Lasting finish with sweetness, bitterness and lots of dried fruits. A nice one. 131214

3.4Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, brown sugar, yeast, dried fruits and hint of floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.0Big brown head, dark liquid, good retention. Aroma is licorice, herbs, cola and plum. Ligh-medium body, mild mouthfeel. Bitter finish. Roasty licorice taste, yeast, roasted black fruits.
3.6Dark brown/red color, mid-sized beige head. Aroma of caramel malt and fruits. Taste is sweet and similar to aroma. Medium carbonation , easy to drink.
3.133 cl. bottle of unspecified vintage (but BBF 01/12/2011) sampled @ Kulminator. Pours blackish dark brown with a small tanned head. Nose is clearly oxidized with some mould as well is brown sugar, figs & dark fruits, heavy on brown sugar sweetness,… Taste is heavy on oxidation, mould, dust, big sweetness, brown sugar, dark fruits, figs, strong & simple syrup, cardboard, soapy, light molasses,… Body is thinned out. Okay but off-flavours from the oxidation have corrupted this one a bit too much.
3.8slightly reddish dark brown colour, huge brownish head, which, however collapses quickly; aroma and taste of caramel, brown sugar, burnt wood and intensive fruityness (mostly grape); good dubbel
2.6Lekker bruin bier. Niet meer en niet minder. Vol van smaak en drinkt goed weg.

3.3Poured a deep mahogany with a thin frothy off-white head. The aroma is rich citrus fruit leading to a medium bitter flavour with a zesty fruity, slightly sweet palate. Very drinkable in the summer. I’m not sure how I would feel after 2 or 3 bottles though.
3.5Bottle at The Tube in Luxemburg. Fruity and dark malty smell. Similar taste. Smooth and easy to drink.
2.519/V/13 - 33cl bottle from Comptoir des Fagnes (Couvin, BE) @ home - BB: 16/VII/13 (2013-492)
Note: shared with BelvidereIPA and our wives
Little cloudy red brown beer, creamy beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty soapy, floral, sweet ripe fruits, peaches. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, fruity, very soapy hops, orange peel, little bitter. Aftertaste: hint of mocha, caramel, chocolate, soapy, bit watery. Not very exciting...
3.2Good dubbel beer, dark brown color with creamy tan head, aroma is roasted, light coffee and sweet caramel malt, this sensation is present also in taste, smooth body and good drinkable.
3.1Dark rubin brown/black in colour. Nearly no head as served too cold (grumble...) but should be a toasty coloured head.
Noses of sugar can, malts and some fruits like figs(?) aromas. Bit fizzy and lots of sweet malt on the palate. Bit sticky oily texture and full bodied. Good for after a short quick lunch to fill the gap.
3.1Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is caramel, molasses and some spices. Flavour is caramel and spices mostly, quite creamy. Nice.
