4.1 Jak dla mnie calkiem przyjemne piwo. Piekna i trwale wogole nie opadajaca piana. Jasno zlocisty kolor, chuczne otwarcie korka firmowego. Do tego mocne zmetnienie do zmiany koloru az na zgnilo zielonu. W zapachu fiolki i maki. Lakow warstwa zapachowa. Piwo tresciwe ale lekkie mimo to. Przyjemne deguustacyjne i napewno prestizowe. Butelkowane: 3 February 2012. Polecam
3.1 750 ml (corked and caged) bottled over 2 years ago from Evergreen Discount into my NBB globe glass. The cork blasted off and hit the high ceiling. Orange and pretty clear with a lasting white head, moderate lacing. Aroma of wheat, sweet malts, orange peel, coriander, lemons, herbs, pepper and light spice. Similar flavor, medium malt sweetness and light hop bitterness. Average body, a little thin, with dull carbonation. This one is probably way past its prime.
3.4 75 cl bottle @ home from www.bieresgourmet.be. Pours hazy dark yellow colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of wheat, spices and some butter notes. Flavour is wheat and oranges with a light dry and fruity finish
3.5 bottle, solid witbier, medium body & carbonation. light lemon citrus, coriander, slight banana. good mouthfeel, decent
3.0 Bottled 750ml PBFVIII Hazy yellow color, small white head. Fruuity yeasty aroma: some mango. Medium-bodied. Sweetish banana Belgian yeasty flavor. Light hoppyness. Simple.
3.9 Appearance: Cork comes off with an audible pop, verging on being airborne but my thumb stops it from putting a dent in the ceiling. Pours like liquid golden bread under a voluminous fluffy white head which fades slowly into a patchy layer while leaving acres of lace in its wake. Slow stream of bubbles keep the head thick from first quaff to last. Nose: Fields of grains waving in a gentle spring breeze while off in the distance bales of hay bake in the sun. Orange and lemon slices in the back. Yeasty doughy orangey spiciness in the middle. Faint candied sugar notes. Pressed green grapes in the back and middle. Whispers of funk and barnyard dust. Palate: Freshly peeled juicy oranges and lemons followed by grapefruit. Husked grains and green banana peel along the sides. Musk and pulped green grapes in the back. Rindy spicy finish which highlights coriander and grains of paradise. Whisper of tropical fruits in the front with grape vineyards in the back. Bread crusts underneath. Candied ginger in the middle. Soft blanched chamois. Final Thoughts: St. Bernardus Brouwerij never disappoints and their newest addition, Tokyo, is no exception. A fabulous rustic example of a Belgian White that is just as good as the traditional St. Bernardus Wit. Hopefully they will release this beer again so I can buy a case.

3.9 Currently drinking whilst typing. Nice aroma of a typical Belgian Wit character to it, also maltiness with peach, orange and citrus fruits. Looks great, a nice cloudy orange rust colour with a light fluffy white head. Tastes of Bernardus yeast strain esters, solid wheats and citrus notes which are smooth and with no bitterness, only sweetness instead. Smooth yet full mouthfeel with a clean finish and good body. Overall, this beer is delightful! Being a limited batch I couldn't refuse having one of these, so grab them while you can!
