St-Feuillien Blonde

St-Feuillien Blonde

Bottle: Unfiltered

This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production.
The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

4.3 Hazy gold in colour. Smells yeasty and of freshly cut bread. Taste is yeasty, slightly bitter, spiced and strong. A spectacular blonde beer :) every beer I've had from St Feuillien is stunning :)
3.4 33 cl bottle. A hazy golden pour with a greenish cast to it. Rocky, off-white head. Aroma is brioche, sliced bread, pie, orange blossom, lemon and that characteristic spearmint scent of Belgian malts. Dry and full-bodied, crisp and low on the carbonation side. Slightly bitter and umami finish, medium to long-lasting. Not bad.
3.7 Bottle from M&S. Blond pour with big gead. Yeasty, floral aroma. Sweet malt, a little spice, sweetness, some yeast. Good beer
3.0 Bitter, not very characteristic taste
3.4 12-07-2021; bottle; at home (bought at an unknown location). The looks of the beer are nice. It is a bright golden colored beer, with a very nice haziness. The beer pours a nice frothy white foam, sustained by the bubbles rising towards the top. Foam retention is quite good, I like that. The beer has a nice aroma, very style specific. Malts give the beer some lovely aromas of grain with some notes of honey and caramel and biscuit. The hops are nice and herbal, with some spicy notes. Nice and robust. Yeast gives some nice spicy notes too, with some touches of zest. It is that typical Belgian yeast aroma going on there. The taste of the beer is very nice. The hops are nice and bitter, which gives good balance to the sweet malts and alcohol. The result is a beer that is both sweet and bitter, in good balance. The mouthfeel of the beer is also pretty good. Smooth texture, full body and a nice tingle from the medium-high carbonation. The finish of the beer is filled with nice bitter hops, sweet malts and alcohol warmth. The bitterness lingers on for a decent amount of time. All in all, I'd say this is a pretty good beer. Traditional Belgian Ale, with not much special going on though. Just traditional.
4.1 Fruity aroma, foamy head, satisfying , vanilla , sweet with a nice bitter ending
3.5 Barwa jasnozłota, lekko zmętnione, piana bardzo obfita, średniopęcherzykowa, dość trwała. W aromacie przyprawy, drożdże, słód, siano. W smaku słód, zboże, fenole, kwiaty, owoce sadu. Ciało średnie, goryczka niska, wysycenie wysokie. Dobre.
2.0 Bah dis donc, que des supers notes. Pourtant c'est bof, bof, bof ...
3.7 Ok, men en smule flad i smagen. Smager lidt som tilsvarende fra Grimbergen
3.5 Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle brought back from my Belgium road trip. Pours slight hazy golden with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, spices, nuts, grain & yeast. Medium body. Light bitter finish
3.5 Colore giallo oro; schiuma bianca, compatta, morbida, alta e persistente.

4.2 Golden, slightly hazy, with a decent white head. Yeasty aroma. Taste is yeast, and grain. Good Blonde.
3.5 Served at home from The Sub Rocky white head left a creamy cover on a hazy pale amber body. Belgian yeast & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a cloying back. Sweet citrus, confectionery, spicy, yeast & bitter hop tastes. Deece
3.9 Bottle on 9th October 2020 from M&S, Camden Town. Pours a hazy gold with lasting white foam and no lacing. Spicy aroma with tangy hoppiness. Nutty malts - hazelnut in-mouth with tangy fruits. A blended fruit and nut finish with spices. Full bodied with an engaging texture.
4.3 Rubia belga rica
2.9 Bottle. Clear pale gold, white head. Aroma is esters and grapefruit, light malts and white wine. Medium sweet, then moderately tart. Slightly acidic, alcoholic finish. Not my type, but probably pretty alright.
3.7 Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a slightly hazy yellow/straw colour with a large thick creamy white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, coriander, spice with hints of lemon, apple and pear. Taste is similar to the aroma with added herbal notes and a little hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied with a peppery, herbal and slightly hoppy finish. A bit different and more herbal and spicy notes than the usual Belgian blonde. Nice one.
Buona blonde
3.6 Dark gold with a big foam and a spicy-funky, lightly sweet nose, with hints of yuzu and bubblegum. Rather gassy, sticky and malty-sweet yet drying and spicy-bitter, faintly funky, reminiscent of a Tripel but lighter.
3.1 Aroma; caramel, citrus, herbs, malts, spices. Look; off-white head on near clear golden blonde body. Taste; malts, caramel fudge, citric hops, bun, yeast, tart, and a balanced tail. Feel; nice body n co². Overall; it`s not too sweet, it's belgian. [čištění garáže, lahvové pivo, koup@švédském obchodě]
4.1 Bottle from Marks & Spenser. Pale amber beer, slight haze with a large foam slight off white head. Nose is wheat malts, fruity, apricot, white wine vinous, white grape. Taste is apricot, pear, bubblegum, wheaty malts, lemon citrus.
3.5 I was thinking that I already had this one, turns I did not. Smell-weak to medium, banana, yeast, Belgian notes, caramel, good stuff, but weak. Foam- thin, huge in mouth, some Belgian notes, yeast, malt, bitterness, sweetness. Head is large, white color. Sticks a bit. Appearance- unique bottle cap for beer, I must give extra for that even when its nothing special. The bottle is simple but nice. Hazy yellow amber, medium carbonation. From - snifter Taste- yeast, malt, caramel, Belgian notes (yeast), weak alcohol, malt, sweetness and bitterness in the mix. Beers like this are the reason I like Belgian beers. Not bad, easy-drinking and in the style I like.
