This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Stjerneanis i duft, flot rødbrun øl med fin skumkrone og liv. Også smag af stjerneanis, de ledsages af tørrede frugter, dadler, figner. En rigtig hyggeøl, der kan nydes alene foran pejsen. Den giver også god varme med sine 9 procent.
Veldig god, artig sitrus ettersmak, litt mørk
Fles. Donker van kleur. Erg vol, bruinig schuim. Aroma metaal, zoet. Sprankelt een beetje, zoet maar niet onaangenaam. Flinke afdronk, wrang droog. Opvallend weinig nadruk op alcohol - positief!
Koperkleurig helder bier met een forse beige schuimkraag met een ietwat grillige structuur. Geuren zijn zoet en kruidig. In de smaak komen de specerijen ook naar voren en dan met name anijs. Wat dat betreft een typisch en geslaagd Kerstbier.
Bruin/rood kleurend bier met een stevige witte schuimkraag. Het bier smaakt karamel en rozijnen zoet met een klein kruidig karakter. Daarnaast iets van basterd suiker en donkere fruit smaken. Alle genoemde smaken en aroma's niet heel sterk aanwezig of in balans. Het bier eindigt zoetig en karamel achtig bitter.

Znakomite swiąteczne belgian strong ale. W aromacie duuużo estrów ale też przyprawy i cukier kandyzowany. W smaku podobnie, dużo estrów, przypraw, cukru kandyzowanego nawet więcej, finisz estrowo-przyprawowy już bez cukru a z leciutką wytwanością alkoholową. Smukłe, rześkie, słodkie, ale z wytrawnym finiszem. Klasowe piwo.
Winter cuvée. Dark ruby color, with an abundant and long lasting creamy yellowish head. Aroma of honey, dark berries and spices (cloves and cinnamon), with vague hints of flowers, rhubarb, orange and banana. The taste is characterized by flavors of toasted barley, burnt candied sugar, dark berries and cinnamon, with a final herbal-earthy bitterness. The body is medium, with a carbonation a little above average and well hidden alcohol. A good beer, characterized by a good balance of scents and flavors, even if, perhaps, it lacks that something that would make it a top product.

Cloudy dark amber color with high brownish foamy head. Spices dry fruits and alcohol to the nose. Toast malts with spices dry fruits floral yeast phenols. Heavy body medium carbonation with a bitter finish. Floral and alcohol aftertaste.

Pours clear medium copper with beige head. Aroma is toasted, raisin, coriander, orange peel, baking spices. Medium bitter, soft carbonation, full body. A tad too sweet to be fully successful to my taste.
Color granate, casi rojizo y poco turbia. Espuma media y compacta de buena retención. Bonita en copa.
Aroma dulzón, pasas y malta tostada.
Bien equilibrada en boca, carbonatación media. En sabor predomina el dulce, con notas frutales, pasas, algo de caramelo. Final alcohólico bien integrado.
Buena cerveza para tomar de postre con dulces típicos de Navidad.

Color granate muy oscuro, casi negro, opaca. Espuma beige de dos dedos de espesor y corta retención aunque mantiene una fina capa bastante más tiempo. Aroma intenso, caramelo, dátiles y pasas, maltas tostadas y ligero plátano y notas, que se intensifican bastante con la temperatura, de polvo, madera y licor. Sabor medio intenso, caramelo, dátiles, higos, leve canela y maltas tostadas, ligeramente quemadas en posgusto, final dulce, alcohólico y levemente especiado. Textura semioleosa. Carbonatación media.
Pours hazy brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of licorice, brown sugar, dried fruits, caramel. Taste of licorice, sweet caramel, brown sugar, some hops. Medium body and carbonation, nice sweet aftertaste. Hides alcohol well.

Ein wahrlich feines Weihanchtsbier, wie man es sich wünscht. Tolle Gewürznoten nach Zimt, Koriander, Vanille und Nelken. Dazu einige feine Trockenfrüchte. Hat mir wirklich gut gefallen, wenn auch es mich nicht vollendsüberzeugt.
Summer not really a good time for this beer, and it had obviously been kept a little warm on its way to me as it fizzed over profusely when I popped the cap. Head was moderately dense and faded fairly quickly. Deep brown colour. Hint of the strong abbey yeast but mostly I get figs and treacle on the nose. Feels somewhat sticky in the mouth. Upon drinking, the yeastiness is lost amongst those sweet, treacle and fig flavours, and with it, for me, much of the interest.

Bottle from unknown place. In my fridge for the last 4 years. Pours dark brown with a huge khaki head. Leaves a shitload of lacing in the glass. Nice hearty fragrant notes of perfume, spice rack, and nuttiness. Full on the mouth smooth on the finish. A holiday beer for all times.
Zwaar zoet winter kruidig biertje met een volle van gedroogde rozijnen, vijgen en kaneel. Heeft iets weg van me favoriete Pickwick thee "Winterglow" of een kruidkoek. Redelijk droog licht bitter in de nasmaak. Diep kruidig zoete geur van karamel en winterkruiden. Koperkleurig biertje met een fijne schuimkraag die niet heel lang blijft hangen. Fles @ Proefglas

On tap @Kufle i Kapsle in Warsaw. Clear and dark amber pour with beautiful orange highlights and a medium ivory foam (pretty tick). Nose: it reminds the aroma of a classic dubbed, malty, tons of dried fruit, resins and mostly ripped/dried prunes. Quite charming. Mouth: not that bodied for the abv, frizzy carbonation but acceptable, clean, hidden raisins bit a bitter end.
Lively on the opening. Great Christmas beer. Super fruity and malty. Large head. Typical xmas flavour. Would buy again.

Nose. Powerful and very versatile, wine notes, berry, grapes, burnt sugar, yeast, spices. Have a little Christmas spirit!
Taste. Carbonization is very high, the body is pleasant. Very high power. Taste the bittersweet bitterness of berries, grape peel, burnt candy, Christmas spice mix. astringency, dryness. The finish is bitter, sweet slightly spicy, warm from alcohol.
