St. Georgen Bräu Keller Bier

St. Georgen Bräu Keller Bier

We brew the strongly hopped Keller Bier traditionally according to an age-old recipe and then let it mature unbunged in deep vaults.
Naturally cloudy; with bottom-fermenting yeast rich in vitamins, this very drinkable beer is frequently enjoyed out of a stein.

4.1 Aroma is toasted malts and caramel. The flavor is fruit/mild berries, toasted malts and and a mildly spicy/low but there hoppy finish.
3.3 Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Orangey pour with good head. Very smooth, malty, some hop, apricot, citrus. Decent.
2.7 Can @ Home. Amber beer with a thick off-white head. Unfortunate. Slick and flabby. Some caramel, burnt toast, and an odd apricot ester. Decently sweet with some earthy and spicy hops. Some baked apple, pear, and apricot notes. Just kind of a mess. Bummer.
3.3 500ml bottle bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Copper gold and clear with a massive off-white head. It slowly dissipates and leaves generous lacing. Gummy, malty aroma with some dried grass and white pepper. Nicely balanced taste, not overly sweet with a dry finish. Heavy carbonation. I like the way it's put together but it's a little dull even for the style.
3.5 Bottle 0.5l from dunklermessias. Thanks Jan. 11.1.2021. Pour it cloudy amber color with medium whote head. Aroma grains, light smoked note. Taste smooth, thick and rich, light smoked note, light crispy and easy drinkable.

3.0 cloudy almost amber color with white head citrus' note overcome malty and honey's notes after a while toffee and chestnut honey come out not really balanced
Zapach intensywny i mocny, czuć chmiele, słód, karmel, skórkę chleba lekko, no i żelazo, a z czasem wyłazi też mokre siano. W smaku goryczka, taka na średnim poziomie, która spory czas zostaje na podniebieniu; kontra słodowa. Trunek pijalny. Ok.
3.3 Bottled. Cloudy amber colour, frothy off-white head with lacing. Sweet malty nose, some raisins, peach, caramel. Sweet taste, brown sugar, raisins, toffee and some hop bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish, smooth texture. Fresh, balanced brew.

3.3 50cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark blonde, fairly hazy, with fine white foam. Aroma is grain, honey. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is medium sweet. Final is average.
3.4 On tap at Fortnight in downtown Providence, RI. Light amber with an egg-shell colored head, deep haze, good retention. Aroma is malt caramel with lake grass and slight lager-like acid. Light-medium-weight oily-watery-starchy body, medium carbonation, medium-big bubbles, light burn, somewhat creamy. Flavor is light malt caramel with moderate grassy hop flavor into a crisp bitterness, refreshing and fairly big lager mustiness and acid. Very good winter lager!
3.7 Bardzo przyjemny keller, dobrze wysycony, zaznaczona goryczka. Slodowy.
4.0 Amber color, clear body, good carbonation, weak head. The hops are present in the aroma, floral aroma, malt, wood, grass, yeast, cereals and bread. Refreshing, the carbination is perfect and the biterness feels very good. Thr taste is bitter, floral, yeast, bread, with hints of lemon and grapefruit. Bitter finish, lovely, medium in intensity.
