Our IPA is bright copper in color with a wonderful citrusy hop aroma. Island Hoppin has a great malty body that pairs well with the dry hoppy finish. IBU’s 50, Warrior, Cascade, Willamette.

3.1Bottle at the Beer Garden in St Thomas. The surroundings are better than the beer. Really more of a moderately hopped amber than an IPA. Not bad just not a great IPA.
3.0Drunk directly from 12 oz. brown bottle. Stamped Best by 03/01/18 (!)
A: N/A
S: Very light herbal/floral hop scent. Faint brown bread.
T: Bitter piney/floral hops. Little malt flavor but slight woodiness.
M: Resinous mouthfeel and finish with medium body and brisk carbonation.
O: Not bad nor noteworthy however for Caribbean stuff this is somewhat exceptional. I think the Pale Tourist is more flavorful even at 5.2%.
3.1Had at Marriott Frenchman's Reef. Pours a little darker than typical IPA. Couldn't get much of a nose. Lacks the citrus up front, and goes straight to a hoppy/bitter IPA finish. It's ok, but great compared to most of the beer available to drink in the Caribbean!
3.0Bottle at craig’s. Pours golden amber, nose is light fruit, caramel, toffee, taste is dry toffee, herbal, sweet.
2.8Hazy brassy golden, no head. Oddly nutty caramel nose. Initial taste is dry, sweet spice. Carbonation is firm and finishes quite sticky sweet.
Bottle from Mrs Baggott, "Do we really need this tasting?" tasting"
2.5Bottle at home... Hazy amber.. Thin white lacing.. Soft herbal.. Sweet toffee fruit nose... Caramel toffee fruit.. Light toffee malts
3.4Bottle thanks to McNeillR.
Appearance - amber with nae heid.
Nose - redcurrants and light spice and bread.
Taste - more redcurrants and some tangy orange. Light bread.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry tangy finish.
Overall - solid.
3.0Bottle from Total Wine & More. Nice copper body with decent head. Nose is malty, caramel but hops too. Taste balanced with hops and flora but also maltier elements. Bitter in the finish.
3.3Nice gift from Michael. Clear copper, off-white lacing foam head. Nice hoppy aroma, citrus notes. Decent bitterness in taste and aftertaste, great. (Velp 201609)
2.8IPA.
あまい、まあまあホッピーだけど、ちょっと違う
2.0Bottle @ Home. Clear Amber colored beer with a massive beige head. Smells like peach jelly, feet, and caramel. Really sweet and kind of funky. Bitter pepper and paper, along with lots of celery and green apple peel. Kind of sugary, lots of woody hops, and sweet brown sugar and caramel. Scroll past.
3.2I had this in St. Thomas. It was amber colored with cooper overtones. It had a good white head. There were flavors or caramel malts, pine, and floral hops. It was highly carbonated and moderately bitter.
3.4Bottle pour on our first night in St Thomas pour lightly hazy dark gold copper with moderate ecru head. Nose dank hop light pine toffee and caramel. Taste similar to nose. Hop presence more dank and bitter than fruity or grassy. Light bitter finish.
3.3Butelka, kolor orange, mętnawy, piana średnia. Aromat cytrusów intensywny ale do zaakceptowania, w smaku bardzo orzeżwiające, goryczka średnia trochę zbyt długo pozostaje na podniebieniu.Dobra IPA.
3.3Thick malted barley and earthy hopped IPA. Nutty aroma. Flavors of caramel and molasses, I might be getting coffee...Light body medium bitterness.
3.4Bottle thanks to Nisse666. Dark gold, copper color. Thin white head. Medium carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, light sweet. Flavour is malty, hoppy, caramel, spicy.
3.6Tap@ st John brewery. Two finger foam. Clear light copper. Fruity citrus. Some pine too. Sharp bitterness. Low medium. Solid refreshing.
3.4Old rating. Bottle at monks, Stockholm. Quite decent IPA, some malt in there together with the hops. Not bad.
2.9355ml bottle. Hazy dark amber color with off white to light beige head. Malty aroma, caramel and butter, light hoppy grassy and fruity too. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
2.8bottle from western NY: kind of a throwback ipa - maybe a little English style leaning. ok in that respect, but a little too balanced and/or restrained for my taste. I like IPAs to be a hop showcase.
2.9Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/8/15
Aroma: Light hops on the aroma, some pale malts, caramel, and some herbal notes
Appearance: The color is orange, pretty much clear, with a small head and light lace
Flavor: Tastes pretty similar, balanced, light sweet and light bitter too
Palate: It has a solid overall feel, soft carbonation, and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression:
This beer is fine, but it isn’t particularly good. I doubt I’ll remember it at all the next time I see it on a shelf.
3.4Tasted from bottle. Pours a clear amber with whitish head. Aroma is malt dominated with caramel, toffee, earthy notes with a bit of tropical fruit and floral notes. Moderately sweet overall with a moderate bitterness. A little to malt dominant on the flavor. Caramel, toffee, biscuits, maple syrup, floral, earth. Overall a below average to average IPA. But much better than most of the Caribbean island beers.
3.6Bottle. Pours golden brown with thin head that dissipates. Medium light carbonation. Flavors of hops and cilantro. Reasonable complexity for a single ipa. Much more that I expected.
3.52/2/2015. From bottle. Dark amber with a fluffy white head. Spicy hop aromas with hints of anise. Bitter flavors, caramel, anise, citrus. Not bad at all.
3.5Bottle at lunchtime on the beach on St Croix. I suspect this is one of those beers where the location was crucial...but I quite enjoyed. Light for the abv, fresh, bitter hopping with some grapefruit in the finish. A very good beach beer, not sure how it would have fared in the more critical tastings in the London winter, but we’ll review what we had....
3.6Big thanks to Erzengel to sharing this beer! Trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen stabilen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr fruchtig, hopfig, Obst, bitter. Geschmack sehr hopfig fruchtig, dezent bitter, etwas grasig, reifes Obst.
4.2Many thanks to Cunningham for this bottle! The beer is amber in colour and malty-floral in the nose. It starts quite bitter, very nice, with a floralness of pine beside the not to sweet but nice malty body. Highly drinkable, very nice. Hints of citrus, nice smooth malt. Pineapple, citrus, very fresh. The aftertaste is a bit malty, not too sweetish, floral-bitter dominant. Very nice and round. The tropical-floral hop with a nice intense bitterness remains long on the tongue. Great IPA!
2.8Appearance: Burnt orange, some off-white head.
Aroma: Hops and virgin fruits?
Taste: Pretty bitter, some caramel sweetness, light fruits. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Maybe better if consumed on USVI?
Bought: Trade with Cunningham - thanks!, 355 ml
